When everything is going well in our lives, we tend to not worry as much about our livelihood and about the money that comes in. But when there is a drought, when we get in debt, when we lose our job, it is easy to slip into a panic around losing money, not having enough. If abundance is a mindset, how come we sometimes lose money, or we can't always make enough of it as much as we would want? What does it mean to have a mindset of abundance? Kisma Orbovich is a prosperity expert and she helps individuals and groups to rewire their being for prosperity and attract more abundance.
We hear this concept a lot in the world of spirituality and mindfulness: that we should aspire to being one with the universe. But what does that mean? Isn't the universe the cosmos? And if it isn't, what is it? And how can I be one with it, why am I not one with it? So many questions. With this episode, we start by the very etymology of the word universe and end up talking about incredibly meaty concepts that can truly help us understanding better how to apply this to our lives.
When something challenging happens, flip the script from negativity and a black hole of despair and go to positivity, to having faith that things are here to teach you something. If you have read even only one blog post about personal development you know that is one of the foundational premises to actually improving your life, to know that things happen for a reason, that you can learn from any challenge, and that if you actually manage to stand the course and believe it in the moment the challenge is unfolding, your overcoming of that challenge can truly past much quicker and the recovery much more effective. So far so good. But, and here’s a big, huge but, when you’re in situation where you lost your job, your best friend died, your house burns down, how in the world are you still supposed to find a silver lining? I am very excited to have this conversation with Joel Readance, a life and leadership coach for one of the largest companies in the world and he coaches leaders and executives in finding their purpose, gain more fulfillment in their lives, and achieve a full life-work integration.
Mindset expert and fitness guru Patricia Moreno is a genius in all things training: training the mind, the body, the heart. She helps her clients train their whole being so they can become the humans they want to be, find their true purpose in life and thrive. It comes at no surprise that she was our guest expert this week in talking what true alignment of heart, mind and body means, and how we can keep that alignment when wondering "off the mat", as they say.
I think the biggest question linked to this quote is: how do you even know that you have something to let go of? And how do you even start letting it go? With therapist and addiction expert Molly Carmel we dive deep into what it means to let go of anything, even your white t-shirts that you don't need, and what it means to use spirituality to free yourself from addiction.
In this episode I talk to Naam Yoga teacher Primavera Salva about what a vibration is, when it’s low, how to raise it, and why it is so damn hard to change your feelings when you’re low and go from feeling pretty shitty to being positive in a difficult situation. This episode was full of amazing nuggets that truly helped to understand this concept better, and we get a great exercise to start raising your vibration today.
