AI Can Accelerate Your Strategy—But It Cannot Choose Your Direction Before You Implement AI, Align the Experience Companies are moving quickly to implement artificial intelligence, automation and new digital tools. But speed without alignment can create a more efficient version of the wrong customer experience. Before an organization decides what AI should do, its leaders and employees must agree on the experience they are trying to create. A Customer Experience Action Statement, or CXAS, provides that direction. It translates an organization's broad mission, purpose and values into a clear standard employees can intentionally deliver during every customer interaction. In a newly recorded opening to this encore episode, Denise Thompson explains why the topic is especially important now: Before companies implement AI, their employees, departments and leaders must be aligned around the experience the technology is supposed to help deliver. Then, in the original conversation, Denise and customer service authority John DiJulius explain how to create a Customer Experience Action Statement, the three pillars that support it and the systems required to keep it alive long after the launch. What Is a Customer Experience Action Statement? A Customer Experience Action Statement defines what every employee should intentionally achieve whenever they interact with a customer, client, patient, guest or colleague. Unlike a mission statement, it must be actionable, observable and relevant during even the smallest interaction. John explains why a CXAS is not another slogan for the breakroom wall. It is the behavioral North Star that helps employees make consistent decisions, creates organizational alignment and turns a desired customer experience into something leaders can teach, coach and reinforce. The Three Pillars of a Strong CXAS Every effective Customer Experience Action Statement is supported by three memorable pillars: 1. Expertise Employees must be brilliant at the basics. They should have the knowledge, consistency and operational excellence required to help the customer confidently. 2. Human Interaction Customers want to feel seen, heard and cared about—not processed as the next transaction. This pillar defines how employees should intentionally make people feel. 3. Above and Beyond When an opportunity presents itself, employees should be empowered to own the experience, solve a problem or create a memorable moment. John shares examples from The DiJulius Group, KeyBank, Starbucks, Superior Glove, Domino's and John Roberts Spa to demonstrate how organizations turn these pillars into clear, repeatable behaviors. Why a CXAS Must Come Before AI AI can accelerate decisions, communications and service delivery, but it cannot decide what your brand should stand for. Without a shared Customer Experience Action Statement, departments may automate different priorities and customers may receive a faster—but increasingly inconsistent—experience. A CXAS gives leaders a standard against which every AI use case can be evaluated: Does this technology help us deliver the experience we have promised, or does it merely make an internal process more efficient? Creating a Statement Is Only the Beginning The episode also explores why successful customer experience strategies require more than a launch. Organizations must certify employees, measure execution, recognize examples, refresh the language through microlearning and keep the CXAS visible long after the initial excitement disappears. As John explains, world-class customer experience is not a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The statement becomes transformational only when it remains top of mind and influences daily behavior. Work Directly With John DiJulius and Dave Murray on September 14 On September 14 from noon to 2:00 p.m. Eastern, John DiJulius and Dave Murray will lead a live, interactive Experience Revolution Membership session focused on creating and implementing a Customer Experience Action Statement that is actionable, observable and capable of driving consistent results. Participants will have the opportunity to work directly with John and Dave to develop or strengthen their organization's CXAS. Register or join the Experience Revolution Membership: https://thedijuliusgroup.com/membership/ Key Takeaways AI will accelerate whatever direction an organization is already heading, including the wrong one. A Customer Experience Action Statement should guide how every employee approaches every interaction. A CXAS must be actionable, observable, memorable and relevant to daily work. Mission statements and purpose statements are important, but they do not tell frontline employees exactly how to behave. A strong CXAS is supported by three pillars: expertise, human interaction and above-and-beyond service. Operational excellence and human connection must happen consistently; above-and-beyond moments happen when the opportunity presents itself. Three pillars are easier for employees to remember, apply and reinforce. A CXAS should guide employees internally rather than operate as an external advertising slogan. Launching the CXAS is the easy part; certification, accountability, measurement and reinforcement make it sustainable. Every proposed AI application should be evaluated against the experience the organization has committed to delivering. You cannot escape a cage you cannot see. In this episode, Emily Fletcher welcomes back Jim Curtis, a coach and author who has spent years healing his own life and now helps others move from suffering into possibility. Jim's own story includes a difficult childhood and an undiagnosed illness at 19 that left lesions on his spinal cord, taking him from an athletic identity to a wheelchair, and forcing him to rebuild who he was. His new book, The Book of Possibility: Release, Align, Become, distills what he learned into a path anyone can follow, out Sept 1. Emily and Jim go deep on judgment, forgiveness, and what Jim calls invisible cages, the patterns running our lives that we can't change until we see them. Emily shares two of her own stories along the way, a New York street encounter with a disabled Uber driver's quiet generosity, and the night her own back gave out after months of overgiving. Jim also breaks down the neuro-linguistic programming behind his book and reads a passage live. In this episode, Jim explores: – The two-word answer he received when he asked a channeled being why we're here– A judgment story from Burning Man, and the pattern of becoming exactly what he judges– Why forgiveness is so hard, and why the ego doesn't want to let someone off the hook– Quantum jumping, memory reconsolidation, and hypnosis– His own story: a difficult childhood, an illness at 19, and rebuilding from a wheelchair– The invisible cages concept, and why the door out is always unlocked– Why your actual outcomes, not your intentions, reveal what's really running your life– The classic trope of the over-giving healer, and learning to charge for his work– The line he calls his favorite: "pain is part of the human experience, suffering is optional"– Miracle stories from his career, and why he won't try to fix the pain people write to him about– The NLP behind the book's language, and its parallel to the pain-relief mechanics of BDSM– His next project: a certification school for hypno coaches Key Moments: 01:16 – The Osho quote: a woman dancing is closer to God than a man meditating05:39 – Channeling Metatron: "see beauty, spread beauty"07:16 – The Burning Man judgment story10:03 – Forgiveness as the way out of closed fists14:47 – Quantum jumping and rewriting memory through hypnosis17:28 – Jim's own story: an abusive childhood and an illness at 1921:27 – The invisible cages, and why the door is always unlocked23:02 – Finding what's running your life by looking at your outcomes29:06 – The Uber driver story: a disabled man's quiet generosity34:05 – The classic trope of the over-giving, unboundaried healer44:47 – "Pain is part of the human experience, suffering is optional"49:15 – Miracle stories: fear eradication, eyesight, and unexpected divorces51:40 – Emily's own story: her back giving out after months of overgiving57:26 – A live reading from the book: "You are the love you seek"1:03:31 – The surprising parallel between NLP and BDSM's pain-relief mechanics1:05:57 – Book details: Sept 1 release, 17 chapters, why to buy the hardcover More from Jim Curtis:Get The Book of Possibility: www.bookofpossibility.comVisit Jim's website: www.jimcurtiscoaching.com ✨ Explore quantum energy with LeelaQ's Infinity Bloc. Check out the full episode: https://greatness.lnk.to/1971DM A woman stopped Jim Curtis on the street, hugged him, and thanked him for the workshop that “changed her life”. Turns out she got divorced and lost her job right after. She said it was the best thing that ever happened. She finally realized she was worth more, met the love of her life, and now makes double the money. Jim's framework is Release, Align, Become. First you find the hidden beliefs quietly running your life, stuff like “I'll always be broke” or “I'll be single forever”. You can't release what you can't see. It's like living in an invisible cage built from something your dad said when you were a kid. Release uses journaling, mirror exercises, even cord cutting to physically shake loose old programming, not just talk about it. Alignment isn't just wanting something, it's falling so in love with the vision that clarity and excitement do the work for you. Become is about shifting your body's homeostasis, literally changing what you believe you're capable of holding. How do you know it worked? Things get easier. You start receiving more love, more money, more flow instead of forcing everything. This isn't about fixing yourself. It's about freeing yourself. Welcome to Day 2938 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom. Day 2938 – Wisdom Nuggets – Proverbs 3:21-28 Daily Wisdom Wisdom-Trek Podcast Script - Day 2938 Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps! I am Guthrie Chamberlain, and we are on Day 2938 of our Trek. The Purpose of Wisdom-Trek is to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, and to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. The Title for Today's Wisdom-Trek is: Unshakeable Sleep, Divine Security, and the Urgency of Doing Good On our previous podcast, on Day Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Seven, we explored Proverbs chapter three, verses nine through twenty. We marveled at how honoring Yahweh with our firstfruits opens the doors of true abundance, how His fatherly discipline refines our character, and how wisdom acts as a priceless Tree of Life—the very blueprint by which God founded the earth and established the heavens! Today, as we step onto Day Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Eight of our ongoing trek, we advance directly into Proverbs chapter three, verses twenty-one through twenty-eight. In these eight practical verses, Solomon takes us from the grand cosmic scales of creation down into the quiet sanctuary of our bedrooms at night, and out onto the front porch of our neighbor's house during the day. Having spent over fifty years focusing on and studying Biblical wisdom, and having accumulated seventy years of life experiences—walking through peaceful seasons, unexpected storms, and daily human interactions—I can tell you that true wisdom is not proven in abstract academic debates. It is proven when you lay your head on the pillow at night in complete peace, and when you eagerly open your hands to help someone in need today. Let us open our minds and hearts to the first logical section of this teaching, as recorded in the New Living Translation, grouping together the connected thoughts found in Proverbs chapter three, verse twenty-one, verse twenty-two, verse twenty-three, and verse twenty-four. My child, don't lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them, for they will refresh your soul. They are like a jewel on a necklace. They keep you safe on your way, and your feet will not stumble. You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly. Look at the urgent command that opens verse twenty-one: "don't lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them!" In the original Hebrew text, common sense translates as tushiyyah—that sound, effective, battle-tested wisdom we examined back in chapter two—while discernment is mezimmah, the practical ability to plan wisely and foresee moral outcomes. Solomon tells us never to let these virtues slip out of our mental field of vision. Notice the exquisite imagery in verse twenty-two: "they will refresh your soul. They are like a jewel on a necklace." This connects us directly back to what we studied in Proverbs chapter three, verse three, where Solomon commanded us to tie covenant loyalty and truth around our necks! Divine wisdom and discernment are never heavy, legalistic burdens; they are beautiful adornments that bring vibrant, inner refreshment—chayyim—to your soul! And look at the practical result in verses twenty-three and twenty-four! As you walk along life's trail, discernment keeps your feet from stumbling over hidden obstacles. Then, when the sun goes down, "you can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly!" In the Ancient Israelite worldview, the nighttime was frequently associated with danger, vulnerability, and dark spiritual chaos. In earlier episodes, such as Proverbs chapter one, we saw wicked men hiding in dark alleys to plot violent ambushes. But here, Solomon promises that when your life is aligned with Yahweh's order, the night holds no terror for you! You do not lie awake staring at the ceiling, paralyzed by anxiety, guilt, or fear of exposure. Your sleep is tranquil, deep, and sweet, because your soul is anchored securely in the presence of the Creator. The narrative now transitions from nighttime peace to daytime confidence, linking together the logical thoughts found in Proverbs chapter three, verse twenty-five, and verse twenty-six. You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap. Solomon addresses one of the greatest tormentors of the human heart: the dread of sudden calamity! He reassures us that we need not fear sudden disaster, or the ruin that inevitably sweeps over the wicked. In this earthly life, unexpected crises do occur—economic shifts, sudden health trials, or social upheaval. Those who build their lives on self-reliance, deceit, or ill-gotten gain are completely destroyed by these storms, because their foundation is built on shifting sand. Look at the unshakeable foundation offered to the wise trekker in verse twenty-six: "for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap!" In the Hebrew text, "the Lord is your security" literally reads Yahweh yihyeh be-kislaka—Yahweh Himself will be your confidence, your hope, and your strong fortress! This highlights the divine-council worldview we have tracked throughout our journey. While neighboring pagan cultures lived in constant terror of erratic, territorial idols, the person who fears Yahweh knows that the supreme Master of the heavenly hosts stands as their personal guardian! Remember back in Proverbs chapter one, where greedy men set hidden traps for the innocent, only to ambush themselves? Here, Solomon promises that when you walk in divine truth, Yahweh personally watches over your footsteps, keeping you from being ensnared by the hidden traps of the adversary. In my seventy years on this earth, I have navigated many unexpected storms, and I can testify with full assurance that Yahweh has always proven to be an unshakeable security. The instruction now takes a sharp, highly practical turn, moving from internal confidence directly to our public responsibility toward others, as recorded in Proverbs chapter three, verse twenty-seven, and verse twenty-eight. Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it's in your power to help them. If you can help your neighbor now, don't say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I'll help you.” Look at the ethical mandate Solomon presents here! He moves from private peace directly into active, neighborly love, commanding: "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it's in your power to help them." In the original Hebrew, the phrase "those who deserve it" literally reads ba'alav—the rightful owners of that good! In biblical ethics, if God has placed resources, influence, or ability in your hands, and your neighbor has a legitimate need, meeting that need is not an optional act of patronizing charity; it is a debt of righteousness that you owe to a fellow human image-bearer! Then, in verse twenty-eight, Solomon delivers a direct blow to the subtle sin of procrastination: "If you can help your neighbor now, don't say, 'Come back tomorrow, and then I'll help you.'" Procrastination in doing good is often just selfishness hiding behind polite excuses! Divine wisdom demands urgency in generosity. This connects beautifully with what we studied in Proverbs chapter three, verses nine and ten, where we were commanded to give Yahweh our firstfruits without delay. Generosity is not merely a ritual performed in a sacred building; it is a lifestyle practiced immediately at our neighbor's front door! In the divine court, Yahweh evaluates the sincerity of our faith by how promptly and generously we treat those around us. One of our core commitments on Wisdom-Trek is to "Lend to others Generously." Over my fifty years of studying Scripture, I have learned that delayed generosity is often denied generosity. When God gives you the opportunity and the power to bless someone today, do not hesitate—act immediately! As we bring today's trek through Proverbs chapter three, verses twenty-one through twenty-eight to a close, consider the complete, harmonious life Solomon sets before us. When you hang onto common sense and discernment, you experience deep inner refreshment, enjoy sweet and sound sleep, walk free from the fear of sudden disaster, and become an immediate conduit of God's blessing to your neighbors. Align your heart with Yahweh's wisdom today, rest in His divine protection, and do not hesitate to do good to those around you. If you found this podcast insightful, please subscribe and leave us a review, then encourage your friends and family to join us and come along tomorrow for another day of, ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.' What if the biggest thing standing between you and the life you want isn't your circumstances, your past, or your limitations, but the identity you've been programmed to believe is you? In this powerful conversation, Darin sits down with health entrepreneur, coach, and author Jim Curtis to explore what it really takes to release the past, reclaim personal responsibility, and consciously become a new version of yourself. After developing a spinal cord lesion at just 19 that eventually left him unable to walk, Jim spent years searching everywhere from major medical institutions to shamans, healers, hypnosis, and spiritual teachers for someone who could fix him. Eventually, his search brought him back to himself. Jim shares the framework behind his new book, The Book of Possibility: Release, Align, Become. Together, he and Darin unpack how childhood programming becomes adult identity, why awareness is the first step toward freedom, how resentment keeps us attached to old versions of ourselves, and why changing your life often requires having the courage to become someone your current identity doesn't yet recognize. They also explore the dangers of outsourcing your spiritual growth, psychedelics as tools rather than destinations, radical responsibility, forgiveness, purpose, human connection, and why the coming age of AI and automation may make genuine face-to-face connection more important than ever. Ultimately, this is a conversation about possibility: not waiting for someone to save you, but realizing that you are the possibility you've been searching for. What You'll Learn Why Jim believes you need to become your own guru instead of constantly searching for someone to fix you How a spinal cord lesion at 19 completely changed the trajectory of Jim's life Why pain and suffering can become gateways to transformation How childhood experiences and subconscious programming shape adult identity Jim's Release, Align, Become framework for creating lasting change Why forgiveness can free you without requiring reconciliation How radical responsibility breaks the victim-villain dynamic Why changing your identity can feel terrifying even when your current life is making you miserable The difference between using psychedelics as transformational tools and using them to escape Why human connection, purpose, curiosity, and presence may become increasingly valuable in an automated world Chapters 00:00:03 – Welcome to SuperLife 00:00:34 – Sponsor: MycoDog 00:02:01 – Meet Jim Curtis and The Book of Possibility 00:04:00 – What if you are the possibility? 00:05:17 – Why people stop themselves from dreaming 00:05:50 – Stop outsourcing your spiritual growth 00:07:05 – No one is coming to save you 00:08:28 – Ego, shadow work, and creating space to choose 00:09:10 – Why you should question the guru 00:10:11 – Ram Dass and the reality of being human 00:11:15 – Darin's first experience with ayahuasca 00:12:17 – Psychedelics can open the door, but then what? 00:13:02 – Sponsor: Manna Vitality 00:14:57 – Psychedelics, ibogaine, and bringing the lessons back to life 00:16:48 – Powerful tools aren't meant to become an escape 00:17:13 – Hypno-meditation and changing yourself from within 00:18:23 – Why Jim wouldn't take away your pain 00:19:09 – Jim's beliefs about trauma, illness, and healing 00:20:05 – The spinal cord lesion that changed Jim's life 00:20:55 – Losing his ability to walk and searching the world for healing 00:21:44 – Discovering hypnosis, meditation, and altered states 00:22:39 – Meeting Dr. Brian Weiss and experiencing past-life regression 00:23:11 – Wall Street, WebMD, and walking away from the wrong identity 00:24:10 – Jim's health collapses again 00:25:25 – The wake-up call that completely changed his future 00:26:02 – How radically changing your identity changes your life 00:27:31 – The Release, Align, Become method 00:28:12 – How childhood programming becomes adult identity 00:29:01 – You have to see the cage before you can escape it 00:29:24 – Forgiveness as a tool for releasing the past 00:30:02 – Escaping the cage of resentment 00:30:57 – Are adults still reacting from their eight-year-old selves? 00:31:25 – You are not your thoughts, emotions, or identity 00:32:05 – Why becoming someone new feels terrifying 00:33:24 – On the other side of pain is possibility 00:35:10 – Darin takes responsibility for the end of his marriage 00:37:14 – Breaking the villain-victim dynamic 00:38:01 – The small conversations that create enormous change 00:39:12 – Releasing the old self 00:39:44 – Aligning with what you actually want 00:40:30 – Who must you become to create that life? 00:41:15 – Creating and embodying a new identity 00:41:54 – Why healthy choices become acts of self-honor 00:42:37 – Building health into your identity instead of obsessing over it 00:44:07 – Expanding your consciousness and seeing new possibilities 00:45:26 – Reprogramming the brain through Jim's book and hypno-meditations 00:46:10 – What happens when possibilities start opening 00:46:51 – The possibility isn't outside you. You don't have to spend your entire life searching for the next guru, healer, relationship, achievement, or external thing that will finally make you whole. Become aware of the programming you absorbed, release the identity that no longer serves you, align with what you actually want, and start becoming the person capable of living it. The moment you stop waiting to be saved and recognize that you are the source, possibility stops being something somewhere in the future. It becomes who you are."
Did you know we have been in a state of emergency in Troy, NY since April 1, 2026 when Mayor Mantello used this power to renew a Flock Safety contract? Proposed Local Law 4 will not only end that state of emergency but align Troy's charter with state law on declared emergencies. Troy City Council member, Shikole Struber (District 2) joined Elizabeth Press to discuss.

What if America could add gigawatts of nuclear power without building new nuclear plants? Alva Energy is upgrading existing reactors to produce 20–30% more power, potentially adding 200–300 megawatts per plant in just 3–5 years.Company bio:Alva Energy is developing technology to increase the output of existing nuclear power plants by upgrading their nuclear steam systems and adding a second turbine generator. The company is already working exclusively with six operating reactors, and estimates projects could add roughly 200–300 MW for around $1B, less than one-fifth the cost of new nuclear construction.Speaker bio:James Krellenstein is the co-founder and CEO of Alva Energy. A physicist by training and the son of a nuclear engineer and energy economist, James combines nuclear technology, project finance, and first-principles thinking. Alva has raised a $32M Series A led by former Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger with Playground Global.Five lessons for entrepreneurs:Look for billion-dollar opportunities hiding in plain sight – Alva's core nuclear uprate approach had already been demonstrated in Sweden. The opportunity came from understanding why it hadn't scaled in the US—and redesigning around that bottleneck.Go to the source material – James traces part of Alva's technical insight to reading a 15,000-page nuclear engineering filing. Secondary summaries are convenient; sometimes the best opportunities are buried several layers deeper.Design the financing alongside the technology – Alva separates its venture-backed TopCo from individual project companies that can use project debt and equity. The goal is to make nuclear upgrades financeable like other infrastructure assets.Don't let venture capital's obsession with speed destroy execution – Demand grew faster than Alva expected, reaching engineering exclusivity with six reactors in under two years. James has deliberately tapped the brakes when necessary because nuclear engineering quality matters more than locking up TAM.Align incentives around getting projects built – Instead of relying on traditional time-and-materials contracts that can reward higher project costs, Alva uses fixed-price structures and invests alongside project investors. What if the relationship that changed your life also uncovered the business opportunity you were meant to pursue? In this episode, Moshe Edri, Founder of Spa Sphere, shares how an unexpected relationship led him to discover a massive gap in the aesthetics industry and inspired him to build an AI-powered platform designed specifically for aestheticians. After spending more than 20 years building technology for some of the world's largest companies, Moshe never imagined he'd become an entrepreneur serving the skincare industry. But through one meaningful relationship, he saw firsthand the daily challenges independent aestheticians faced and realized no one was building software around the way they actually worked. Moshe explains how listening to customers, creating genuine partnerships, and staying close to the people you serve has fueled Spa Sphere's rapid growth. He also shares why relationships, are the true competitive advantage for any business, and how meaningful connections continue to shape both his company and his life. [00:03:28] What He Does and Who He Serves Founder of Spa Sphere, an AI-powered platform built specifically for aestheticians Helps skincare professionals simplify operations and grow their businesses Creates technology around the unique workflows of estheticians Enables practitioners to spend more time serving clients and less time managing software [00:05:19] Solving a Problem No One Else Was Addressing Existing software wasn't designed for the way aestheticians work Many professionals relied on disconnected tools and manual processes Fragmented systems created unnecessary stress and burnout Spa Sphere brings everything together into one purpose-built platform [00:06:41] Helping Clients Create Better Outcomes Supports personalized treatment plans instead of one-time appointments Gives aestheticians tools to guide clients through long-term skincare journeys Helps practitioners increase revenue while improving client care Aligns technology with how estheticians naturally serve their clients [00:11:04] How One Relationship Changed Everything The idea for Spa Sphere began while dating an esthetician Saw firsthand the frustrations of running an independent practice Realized an entire industry had been overlooked by technology companies Combined his background in software with a real-world business challenge [00:12:45] Growing Through Strategic Relationships Focuses on partnerships with educators, coaches, and industry leaders Chooses collaboration over chasing individual customers Creates win-win opportunities throughout the industry Builds momentum through trusted relationships and referrals [00:14:31] The Relationship That Sparked His Mission Credits a personal relationship with introducing him to the aesthetics industry Was inspired by how deeply aestheticians care for their clients Built technology that removes friction so practitioners can focus on people Turned a personal experience into a purpose-driven company [00:17:08] Growing Beyond His Comfort Zone Learned business development as a technical founder Built meaningful partnerships despite being naturally introverted Embraced new challenges to grow both personally and professionally Continues refining the customer experience as the company expands [00:18:59] Why Customer Relationships Matter Gives every client direct access to him Values personal conversations over transactional support Makes time to meet customers whenever possible Believes authentic relationships are the foundation of lasting success [00:20:54] Scaling Without Losing the Human Touch Confident the technology can scale to support future growth More concerned about maintaining exceptional customer support Wants every customer to continue feeling personally valued Committed to growing without sacrificing relationships [00:21:35] Giving Back to the Industry Inspired by the generosity and passion of aestheticians Finds purpose in helping professionals better serve their clients Provides free resources, education, and tools alongside the platform Measures success by the impact he creates for others KEY QUOTES "The challenge for me was to create the best platform for aestheticians so they need to forget about technology. Technology becomes the easy part, not the hard part, so they can focus on building relationships with their clients." "I'm looking back where I started and where I am today, and it makes me proud that I was capable of creating those meaningful connections and always creating win-win-win situations." "All my clients have my cellphone number. They know about our hamsters, they know about my dog. We've developed those kinds of relationships." "Personal time is what helps build those relationships. That digital persona you show on camera isn't enough." You've probably heard that your ovaries age 2.5x times faster than the rest of your body. I went looking for that study. It does not exist. In this episode I trace that number back to an uncited supplement company blog post, and then I give you the one that is real: ovarian aging shows up 15 to 20 years earlier than in any other tissue in your body. Your ovaries are not a fertility organ. They are the organ that sets the pace for your bones, your heart, your brain and how long you live. This is the first episode built on my four pillars: Nourish, Stack, Live and Align. In this episode, Jess Dewell talks with Chris McShanag, CEO and Founder at Virtual Teammate, about boldly confronting distraction debt and using growth levers to scale. He shares proven strategies that help owners and executives ditch low-value work, redeploy talent, and fuel business growth — while delivering real client results. Prioritizing impact, and ensuring you have time to think before taking action, guarantees you are designing a path forward that puts decision-making and execution responsibilities with the right people on your team. In this episode, you will discover: The evolution of distributed workforces and how virtual teams enable growth without expanding physical overhead Why client experience should be the focal point for all business processes How to design operations in reverse from the ideal client experience, not from internal processes The reality of AI adoption and how it augments work rather than replaces it How to free up skilled professionals from administrative tasks so they can focus on highest-value work Why managing energy is as important as managing systems The proven way to evaluate how you spend your time for maximum impact How to remove friction and get out of your own way The power of undoing or ending processes that hold growth back Why clarity of roles and accountability — not location — are core to team effectiveness and scalable growth It is BOLD to confront your own strategic debt and leverage your current leadership to grow and scale. Managing distraction debt directly impacts your ability to lead effectively and scale intentionally. By removing what doesn't serve your vision and empowering the right people with the right responsibilities, you create the foundation for sustainable growth and real business transformation. —----------------- If you want to identify business bottlenecks, the necessary skills, the initial actions to take, the expected milestones, and the priorities for achieving growth, try the "Growth Framework Reset" approach. What if commercial businesses could cut clean energy project costs by up to 45%, all while someone else finds, buys, finances, and operates on-site systems on massive real estate portfolios?Company bio:VECKTA Energy is a technology platform that helps businesses design, procure, finance, and operate on-site energy systems, including solar, batteries, and generators. Its platform can analyze thousands of data points across large property portfolios, identify the best opportunities, and connect buyers with a network of 4,000+ suppliers, developers, equipment providers, and financiers.Speaker bio:Gareth Evans is the founder and CEO of VECKTA Energy. An environmental scientist by training, his career took him from oil and gas projects in Iraq to leading a global power consulting practice, where he saw firsthand both the vulnerability of traditional energy supply chains and the complexity of buying distributed energy systems.Five lessons for entrepreneurs:Turn complexity into your moat – Vecta sits between consultants, developers, financiers, equipment providers, and customers. Instead of avoiding a fragmented market, it built technology to coordinate it.Align your business model with customer outcomes – Customers pay a subscription, but Vecta also earns a success fee when projects actually get contracted. The company wins more when customers move from analysis to steel in the ground.Sell economics before sustainability – Gareth has watched customer priorities shift from sustainability toward cost, predictability, and increasingly reliability. Meet customers where their budgets and pain actually are.Follow customers into new markets – Rather than expanding internationally because the TAM looks attractive, Vecta follows existing customers into new geographies, pressure-tests the model, and then decides where to invest at scale.Earn your stripes before chasing the title – Gareth's advice to younger leaders: be patient, learn the craft, take difficult assignments, and build credibility. See what the team at The Successful Bookkeeper has on right now →Jon Sheldon has lived through more transitions than most people can imagine — Marine Corps infantry, corporate finance director, and now founder of Belleau Wood Coaching. This episode is a practical conversation about what it actually takes to lead yourself and your team well: getting clear on purpose, planning for what will go wrong, and building the kind of confidence that only comes from taking action. Whether you're just starting your bookkeeping practice or managing a growing team, there's something here for you.Chapters[00:00] Purpose as the Common Thread[02:54] Jon's Background: Marines to Finance[08:00] Life's Purpose vs. Purpose Right Now[10:48] Accepting the Cost of Transition[15:00] Contingency Plans Beat Burning Boats[17:54] The Six-Step Decision Framework[22:00] Failure, Resilience, and Confidence[26:00] The Four-Pillar Performance Blueprint[31:00] Accountability and Radical Honesty[34:00] How to Connect with JonPurpose Is Not Just a ClichéJon believes purpose is the most overlooked driver in business — and in life. "Most people I run into don't ever take the time to, or have never taken the time to, really plan it out or think about what, how are they living a purposeful life?" It doesn't have to be a grand existential answer. Finding what fills you with purpose right now is enough to start leading better — yourself and the people around you.Plan for What Will Go WrongOne of the most practical ideas Jon brings from his Marine Corps days is what he calls "accepting the cost." Most people building a business focus on the vision and avoid thinking through what could go wrong — because they don't want to scare themselves out of it. Jon flips that: "Most battles are won with better contingency plans. That's how most missions are won — by thinking through the challenges and obstacles that are inevitably going to come." Knowing your worst-case scenarios in advance doesn't kill confidence. It creates it.A Six-Step Decision FrameworkJon teaches a repeatable process he calls Clarity, Condition, Cost, Align, Act, Adapt. Get clear on what you're deciding. Do a gear check — do you have everything you need? Establish the cost of what could go wrong. Make sure your first action actually aligns with your goal. Act. Then adapt based on what you learn. "I've had the best plan and then the first action has nothing to do with pushing my business forward." The framework keeps that from happening.Failure Is Part of the DealJon is direct about this: failing is how you build the confidence to lead. "You might not hire the right person the first time. You might not make a great investment here or there. It's how you bounce back from that and get resilient that's going to really boost your confidence." If you're just getting started, expect some rough patches. If you have a clear purpose tied to where you're going, those rough patches are easier to push through — because the destination still matters. The Four-Pillar Performance BlueprintJon works with every client through a four-pillar framework: Purpose (your why), Vision (a day-in-the-life picture of where you're headed, three years out), Ecosystem (who and what you're surrounding yourself with — including your tools and your workspace), and Motivators (what actually energizes you to take action). From there, his coaching is high accountability and action-driven: clients leave every session with a tracked action step, session notes, and metrics they've defined themselves. Join our champion program: mark@themomentumcompany.comAttend a Thriving Leader event: https://thriving-leader-2026.lovable.app/Instagram: @the.momentum.companyLinkedIn: /momentum-companyIn this episode of The Intentional Agribusiness Leader Podcast, Mark sits down with Celeste Lindsey, Executive Director of the Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association (EMDA), for a conversation about servant leadership, relationship-building, and creating lasting value through intentional service. When asked what it means to be intentional, Celeste's answer is refreshingly simple:Align your actions, conversations, and decisions with the impact you want to create.Whether she's serving members, leading an association, or building relationships, her goal is the same—to make people feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.Celeste shares how EMDA has spent more than 80 years connecting manufacturers of shortline agricultural equipment with distributors, sales representatives, and industry partners.Rather than simply hosting events, the organization exists to create meaningful connections that help businesses grow year-round through networking, education, and strategic partnerships. One of the most inspiring moments of the conversation is hearing how Celeste found her current role. After years as a preschool educator and later a construction recruiter, she wasn't looking for a career change. In fact, she initially turned the opportunity down. But after repeated conversations—and a few unexpected changes in her life—she recognized the opportunity as something she was meant to pursue.Sometimes the right opportunity finds you before you're looking for it.The discussion then shifts toward leadership.Managing an association means balancing many personalities, competing priorities, and differing opinions. Celeste explains that one of her greatest leadership tools isn't persuasion—it's communication.By clearly explaining the "why" behind decisions and taking time to understand the people she serves, she's built trust with members and board leaders alike. Her background in education continues to influence how she leads today.Teaching preschool taught her how to simplify complex ideas, communicate with clarity, and patiently help people grow—skills that translate remarkably well into executive leadership.Another key theme throughout the episode is the importance of listening.Rather than assuming she knows what members need, Celeste continually asks for feedback and looks for opportunities to improve the member experience. One example is EMDA's newly launched online connection tool, created directly from member requests. By listening first, she turned a challenge into one of the organization's newest benefits. The conversation also explores overcoming self-doubt and earning credibility as a young leader.Early in her career, Celeste often had to overcome assumptions based on her age. Instead of allowing those perceptions to define her, she focused on consistently delivering results and building trust over time. When asked about her proudest accomplishments, Celeste shares two defining moments. The first was securing a highly competitive $90,000 grant that transformed the preschool she led, creating lasting educational opportunities for students, teachers, and families. The second is her work at EMDA, where membership has grown dramatically over the past few years through stronger relationships, increased visibility, and a renewed focus on serving members well.Beyond her leadership role, Celeste is passionate about health and fitness. She operates a small gym from her barn dominium, leading strength training and HIIT classes for members of her local community. For Celeste, physical fitness isn't separate from leadership—it strengthens it.Building discipline through exercise, fueling your body well, and creating healthy routines all contribute to becoming a stronger, more resilient leader.Throughout the conversation, one message remains clear:Great leadership isn't built through flashy moments. It's built through consistency, communication, and genuinely caring about the people you're called to serve.Listen if you are:Leading an association or member-based organizationLooking to strengthen relationships with customers or membersBuilding trust through communicationNavigating leadership early in your careerPassionate about personal growth, health, and leadershipLooking for practical ways to serve people more intentionallyLeadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about consistently showing up, listening well, communicating clearly, and making people feel valued every single day.
In this episode, Dr. Bill Davis speaks directly to upper cervical doctors in Practice Growth Stages 2 and 3, explaining why so many practices plateau despite working harder than ever. He reveals that sustainable growth isn't achieved by simply attracting more patients, it's built by aligning the right systems, team structure, leadership, and patient acquisition strategies. Using the UCM Align Membership as the framework, Dr. Davis outlines how practices can eliminate common bottlenecks, create predictable growth, strengthen team accountability, and build an organization that no longer depends entirely on the doctor. If you're ready to move beyond inconsistent results and create a scalable practice with long-term stability, this episode provides the roadmap to get there.

Healing Journey to Manifest With Desire: A Root Chakra Journey for Reclaiming What You WantMost of us were taught that wanting something too much makes us needy, selfish, or greedy, so we learned to shrink our desires down to something safer and more acceptable. Desire isn't a problem, it's actually a superpower rooted in your body that acts as a compass. Holding your desires alongside your sense of safety gives you access to personal power. What if learning to feel safe with your desires is meant to guide you back to yourself? This episode is a hypnotic journey into the root chakra, the energetic home of your most primal needs, where desire and security are deeply intertwined.Through a guided hypnosis experience, you'll explore what it means to hold your desires and your sense of safety at the same time, why most manifestation teachings only tell half the story, and how unconscious patterns and old wounds keep you locked into wanting less than you actually want. This one is for anyone who's gotten really good at being reasonable while quietly disconnecting from what they actually want. What You'll Learn: - Why desire and security are rooted in the same energetic center, and why that connection matters - The disconnect in manifestation teachings that only endorse "good" desires - Why unintegrated unconscious patterns cause you to manifest what you don't want - How to expand your capacity to hold both pleasure and pain without guilt or resistance - What it means to treat desire as a compass instead of a threat - Self-inquiry questions to uncover how your early experiences of safety shape what you allow yourself to wantKey Questions Explored: - How do your earliest memories of safety and security influence your relationship with desire and manifestation? - How does your connection to nature and your physical environment affect your ability to feel grounded in your desires? - How might fear, insecurity, or dominant cultural narratives be shaping what you think you want? - What would your desires look like if you felt completely safe and supported?Resources Mentioned: Ecstatic Empath Chakra Recode Album: If you've ever felt like your sensitivity is too much because you feel everything and you don't know what to do with it, this is for you.The Ecstatic Empath Chakra Recode Album is 13 guided hypnosis journeys through every layer of your energetic system, designed to recode your identity from overwhelmed empath to ecstatic empath for $22 Visit https://www.chakrarecode.comIf you've ever felt like wanting something too much means something is wrong with you, this episode is an invitation to find out what's actually true. While working on his painting this morning, CJ was inspired by a message and decided to share it with his listeners. CJ shares his experience with his tremor and how it has formed a relationship between him and his art. It is only by accepting all of yourself—including those things you may consider shortcomings—that you can expand your creative expression. We bring our complete selves to the creative process. If you've been avoiding creativity because of some perceived limitation, consider how you might continue creating despite it—or perhaps even because of it. CJ has learned to develop a style of painting that includes his tremor, and it has become part of what makes his work uniquely his own. What is includes the tremor, your body, your circumstances, the paint, the unexpected mark—and even what comes back from the creative field. You're not overcoming reality in order to create. CJ also explores how we are in relationship with the creative field of intelligence. That's right—we are constantly receiving guidance, messages, and feedback from the creative field. How we choose to respond is key. Do we move with the flow, or do we resist it? Either way creates an outcome, but one way empowers us.Choose relationship. And watch your creativity grow.Want to learn more about CJ Miller? What if the next level of your life isn't asking you to do more, but to learn how to be?In this month's Guidance Transmission, we're exploring the deeper art of being — being available, being still, being open, being present, being receptive, being certain, and being in alignment. So much of manifestation and personal growth is focused on action: What should I do? What should I change? What should I create? But there is another level of creation that begins before the action — the energetic and conscious state from which you are living. This transmission invites you to slow down and become aware of how you are showing up for your own life. Are you available for what you say you desire? Are you still enough to hear your intuition? Are you open enough to receive something different than what you expected? Are you present enough to recognize what is already unfolding? You'll receive guidance around: Being available for greater possibilities Finding power in stillness Remaining open when you don't know the “how” Becoming more present in your life Expanding your capacity to receive Cultivating inner certainty Moving from force into alignment This is not about becoming someone you are not. It is about becoming more deeply connected to who you are and allowing your choices, energy, and consciousness to come into alignment with the life you are creating.Sometimes creation isn't about another action.Sometimes it's about becoming still enough, open enough, and available enough to allow what is already moving toward you to enter. This month, the invitation is simple:Be. Listen. Receive. Align. And allow your next chapter to unfold from a deeper place of consciousness.Few Things to Support You On Your Journey

Prayer is not only silent meditation or inward agreement. There are moments when you must open your mouth, release faith and audibly partner with heaven. Jesus rebuked fevers, spoke to storms, commanded demons to leave and called Lazarus out of the tomb. He modeled what it looks like to pray with confidence, power and authority. Your voice is a spiritual instrument that can bind the enemy, release agreement with heaven and bring order into the spiritual realm. Many believers pray one thing but speak negativity afterward. Your words must stop fighting your prayers. Align your faith, thoughts and declarations so you are not canceling what you just released. It is time to overcome passivity, complacency and spiritual stagnation. Train yourself to pray out loud, declare God's Word and wield the authority Jesus gave you. You have more authority over your situation than you realize. Rise, speak and fight in faith. Your voice matters, your prayers matter and heaven responds when you pray according to God's will. #AudiblePrayer #PrayerAuthority #ChristianSpiritualWarfare #PowerOfDeclaration #IdentityInChrist **Connect with Us** - Website: https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/ - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kathydegraw/ - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kathydegraw/ Podcast - Subscribe to our YouTube channel and listen to Kathy's Podcast called Prophetic Spiritual Warfare, or on Spotify at https://open.spotify.com/show/3mYPPkP28xqcTzdeoucJZu or Apple podcasts at https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/prophetic-spiritual-warfare/id1474710499 **Recommended Resources:** - Receive a free prayer pdf on Python at https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/python/- Receive a free prayer pdf on Anointing Oil at https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/anointingoil/ - Kathy's training, mentoring and e-courses on Spiritual Warfare, Deliverance and the Prophetic: https://training.kathydegrawministries.org/ - Healed At Last ~ Overcome Sickness and Receive your Physical Healing: https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/healed-at-last/ - Mind Battles – Root Out Mental Triggers to Release Peace!: https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/product/mind-battles-pre-order-available-january-2023/ -Kathy has several books available on Amazon or kathydegrawministries.org **Support Kathy DeGraw Ministries:** - Give a one-time love offering or consider partnering with us for $15, $35, $75 or any amount! Host Jeff returns with a solo, podcast-style episode that blends biblical vision, geopolitical observation, and practical warnings. He opens by addressing the viral attention around August 12, 2026 — a day of a solar eclipse, planetary alignment, and a meteor shower — and explains his view on astronomy vs. astrology, how celestial signs might signal spiritual moves, and why we should remain watchful but sober in our expectations. The episode moves into the global financial picture: recent U.S.-Japan debt actions, central banks hoarding gold and silver, China's role in moving gold toward a physical-asset model, and the risk of a digital currency-led “ledger” that could erode privacy and freedom. Jeff offers big-picture context (not personal financial advice) on why these shifts may point toward a new financial system being prepared and what that might mean for personal sovereignty. Jeff also discusses his course, Decoding the Power of Three, including a personal vision connected to the biblical firmament and the three heavens — a symbolic picture of the veil being removed and God's kingdom coming down. He explains how that theology ties into current events and spiritual preparation. Turning to cultural symptoms of the age, Jeff reacts to a disturbing Perez Hilton incident and frames it as part of a broader uptick in demonic activity and mass activation. He describes the “harvest” as a separation of wheat and chaff, warns about spiritual deceptions, and underscores the need for faith, readiness, and discernment. Previewing a short new video series, Jeff outlines five brief episodes that explore the Noahide laws, Jewish mysticism, the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), Kabbalah, the Seven Mountain Mandate, Joel's Army, and related movements. He argues that some NAR leaders are using Kabbalah-based techniques that function like magic over audiences and that these currents will contribute to a global push against the remnant—covering themes such as martyrdom of the saints and how different religious systems may converge against believers. Episode logistics and extras: Jeff is solo on this episode (Tim Cohen may appear in a later show), he announces a short premiere schedule for the new series (planning a 4:00 PM ET debut for the first short episode), and he shares offers and resources mentioned in the show: the Decoding the Power of Three course with coupon code SUMMER50 (valid through August 31), affiliate pet products (Mush Puppies and InForce via RORPetClub247.com), and a weekly prayer meeting on Telegram Wednesday at 7:30 PM ET. Most apparel companies don't have a demand problem. They have a lead time problem. In this episode of Supply Chain Now, hosts Scott W. Luton and Scot Case welcome Maithili Shenoy, Founder and CEO of La Naia Collective, for a frank, frameworks-forward look at why the global apparel operating model is cracking under its own weight and what it would actually take to rebuild it. From the Multifiber Agreement's unraveling in 2005 to the speed at which TikTok now dictates what sells, Maithili draws a clear line between the world the industry was built for and the one it's operating in today. She breaks down why long lead times convert forecast error into stranded inventory, how the markdown machine erodes billions in gross margin dollars annually, and why the financial damage runs deeper than most balance sheets reveal. Scot adds a sustainability lens that sharpens the conversation, connecting the landfills of Ghana's Kantamanto Market to the same structural misalignments driving poor financial returns. The conversation builds into Maithili's 4S architecture: Strategize, Segment, Structure, Sustain, and the regenerative loop that ties them together. Real-world examples ground every layer: Inditex running 57.8% gross margins with inventory costs half the industry average, Abercrombie & Fitch going from 1% to 15% operating margins by abandoning markdown dependency, and why companies still anchored to gross margin rate alone are running out of runway. If you're trying to understand why so many smart people keep making decisions that produce irrational collective outcomes and what a better model actually looks like, this conversation earns its time. Human Design can tell you what your life purpose is. It cannot make you willing to claim it. Most people expect the search for their purpose to end in relief. What tends to happen is stranger. The closer you get to the thing you're actually here for, the more reasons you find to step back from it. You downloaded the chart. You've read everything you can find about your incarnation cross. And the message is still sitting there, unsent. In this episode, Nicole names that pattern and makes the case that the fear showing up right now is telling you something completely different from what you think it's telling you. She gets into why a calling this size was never going to feel manageable, what growing into it actually costs while it's happening, and why Human Design hands you a process instead of an answer. She also marks the show's 500th episode, and says what 500 conversations built in her that she wasn't expecting. This one lands the same week as a date she's been counting toward for two years. What if humanity's true history has been hidden from us? In this episode of the Align Podcast, bestselling author and researcher Freddy Silva explores the Great Pyramid as a site of initiation, the recurring connection to Orion, the Watchers, crop circles, megalithic technology, the Great Flood, and the cyclical nature of human evolution. He also explains how ancient cultures used sound, energy, and sacred spaces to access altered states, and shares practical ways to build greater awareness, coherence, and connection with the natural world during a period of major societal change.
