Why Do I Bother?

Oh my gosh, we are back, after a LONG hiatus. This episode we are celebrating men's health and the importance of checking your down below! It's important! Do it men! This week we are talking a load of old balls! Kev talks us through his incredibly thorough male grooming routine. Anth has a game full of rude words, Olly talks about his secret-tash and Dan is finally encouraged to style himself after Kevin Keegan. It's also worth noting that Kev's internet connection reverted back to the 90's during this recording, so that's why he is a little quieter than usual. Welcome to series 2 of WDIB! We are thrilled to be back celebrating Halloween! Once upon a time in the magical kingdom of Botherland, four guys and a girl discuss the good, the bad and the ugly bits about Disney. This weeks heroine Kate challenges the evil Olivier Le King to a knowledge off, Dan proves that he has a beautiful singing voice, Kev tells us about the time he had breakfast with the Disney princesses and Anth tries to find out which Disney character the guys *(...and gal) would most like to date. This week the boys interrogate their mate Joe from Australia (Hero, hard case, fitness fanatic), trying to work out if they should bother with keeping fit. Joe steals a Gym and Olly sings about it, Anth has an argument with a receptionist, Kev goes for a run to decide if he likes it or not, and Dan gets the lads to play an exercise game. This week the boys discuss whether or not they should bother learning a language. Anth remembers getting shouted at in French, Dan tells the boys he loves them, Kev invents a game to help the group learn welsh, Olly drops his new theme tune and the gang finally find out what ‘The Macarena’ means in English. This week the boys are joined by fashionista and friend Shannon, who tries to give them a passion for fashion. Anth talks about when he had ‘chick hair’, Shannon helps the boys visualise her Nan’s blue suede rug, Olly gets his nose hair waxed and sings a song about his beige wardrobe, Dan commentates on the catwalk and Kev reminds us that different coloured combat trousers unfortunately once existed. We had so much fun discussing whether or not to bother dating last week, we’ve spilled over in to Part II. Anth sets Dan and Olly up on a date, and Kev serves them dinner. Anth drops a sexy tune about Date Night. Elle is back for more mischief and mayhem, as she shares her dating app ‘research’ with us, and the group decide once and for all whether to hold dating close, or to give it the boot!

This week the group tries to decide whether or not to bother with love and dating. Olly sings a song explaining why he’s still single, Kev tries to bag himself a beauty by dropping his sparkly new dating profile, Dan drops his hottest dating tips, Anth talks ‘Passion Time’, and the boys are joined by a special guest! This week the boys don’t know when to shut up, so it’s a bumper hour long special! The lads get musical, as they try to decide whether or not they should bother learning an instrument. Dan performs for the lads after being set a challenge a week ago to learn the Didgeridoo with hilarious consequences, Anth has a new game for the lads based around rude musical terms, Olly tries to make the group cleverer by dropping facts all over the place, and Kev drops a 90’s dance beat, before explaining how easy he thinks it is to make a banger. Now with 90% less cuss-words! We tried.

Happy Star Wars Day everyone! During their quest to decide whether or not they should bother with the whole franchise: Darth Kevin senses a disturbance in the force, Dan gets the group to come up with their Jedi names, and uses it as a ploy to steal Anth’s bank details, Olly explains why light saber’s are covered in toxic masculinity waste, and Anth completely misses the point and talks about the power he would have if he was a Jedi (Spoiler: It’s not actually a real Jedi power that he talks about). This is Episode IV - A No Hope!

This week, the boys are really feeling the heat of isolation. Olly sings us a song to explain how much he hates human contact. Dan becomes increasingly concerned about imminent wolf attacks. Anth introduces a lovely game to lighten the boys mood, and Kev debuts his new Rap single.. Yes...you read that correctly...Kev Raps in this episode. Prepare to hear a group of lads descend into utter isolation madness!

This week the boys discuss the importance of sport, in their quest to decide whether or not people should even bother with it. Olly starts advertising Sports Lube, Anth performs a song for kids who hate PE lessons, Kev drops a sexy dance beat and Dan recounts a wonderful mystery meat half time snack story from a trip to Old Trafford.
