This episode is an interview with Alex Lindsay. Alex is the father of four, insanely good at lip syncing and my dear brother. He's also a regular guest on Mac Break Weekly with Leo LaPorte and the founder of Pixel Corps which provides internet broadcasting, augmented reality, and virtual reality services to all kinds of big shots. Plus, he worked on Star War episode one the Phantom Menace which my nine year old son thinks is pretty great. He's the reason you're listening to this podcast because even before I knew what a podcast was or how to listen to one he was saying, "Hey Jen, you should do a podcast about family photography."
Today we hang out with Alex Lindsay. He started the Pixel Corps, heads up DvGarage, has worked on Star Wars: Episode 1, and is a regular on Macbreak Weekly. We talk about VFX, workflow, and the future of video content creation.
We have the lovely and hyper-talented Kristin Martin formerly of PIxel Corps, and currently of [redacted]! We talk about audio and video production, what it was like to work in the "Wild West' days of podcasting, and how to get John, Ben, Kenji, and the rest of the castaways back on the island.
Alex Lindsay of the Pixel Corps joins Katie and David to talk about his video and travel workflows.
Alex Lindsay (Chief Architect, Pixel Corps), Abba Shappiro (Shappiro Video and Multimedia), Mannie Frances (Managing Director of VAAST).

Ben Durbin of the Pixel Corps followed the instructions at onmac.net and got Windows XP running on one of the new Intel Mac Minis just like that. This is no kludge - it runs very well. No network drivers yet, and the video driver is pretty simple, but it works, and without violation of either company's license agreements. Host: Leo Laporte Guest: Ben Durbin
