A rite of passage for movie podcasts it seems, Alex and I decided to give our takes on the first of the Star Wars prequels after not seeing them for nearly twenty years. How has it aged? Is the culture of online hate that has formed around them simply hyperbole? Do the people that say they are better than Disney's sequel trilogy have any validity? We dive into one of the most contentious and most successful Hollywood franchises to find out.
In 1999, Star Wars returned to movie theaters with the first new movie in sixteen years. Join us as we discuss The Phantom Menace twenty-five years after its release. How is this movie regarded now? How did it change how movies are made today? What do we remember from the global hype, promotion, and excitement for TPM? Whether you are Sith or Jedi, we'd love you to join us for this fun and interactive discussion live from Fan X in Salt Lake City. Ho Ho - Go[bble]?!? It's that time of year again! It's time to celebrate one of the best Thanksgiving films - The Phantom Menace. Blou lays a chestnut on us, "TikTok (It) or Pickpocket," and Black reads a profound poem to usher in the season of the turkey. Enjoy.

THIS EPISODE LOVINGLY DEDICATED TO MR. TONY TODD. THANK YOU TONY FOR ALL THE AMAZING WORK.The guys get into the show this week with a classic callback to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace before touching, briefly, on the 2025 presidential election and what that could mean for the county. They also discuss the latest episode of Saturday Night Live featuring host Bill Burr this week. Christian updates Zip on the Daryl Dixon show and where it's going, while Zip had a good long cry watching Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story. Zip has gained access to Cush's digital library and watched several 90's classics, including Sister Act and Cool Runnings. Also, the passing of horror and film icon Tony Todd, big interest from Marvel and Disney in Channing Tatum's 'Gambit', first reactions to Robert Eggers' Nosferatu, Macaulay Culkin joins Fallout season2, The Crow and Joker 2 deal damage to their respective companies and much more!Don't forget to follow the guys on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Like a Dragon hadden we torenhoge verwachtingen.
