All Things Phantom

Come and join us for a great show as we talk with Larry Wayne Morbitt, who plays Piangi in the Phantom Vegas Spectacular production. This is our first Piangi, and we're excited to talk to another principle cast member who fills an important role in The Phantom of the Opera.  From his comic relief of calling the audience "amateurs" to his sad strangling by the Phantom himself, he's quite the side-kick of Carlotta. Peter Karrie will join us at a special time today.  He played Phantom in London, Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vancouver and the Millennium tour of Great Britain.  His performances have earned him the title of “The World’s Most Popular Phantom” on two separate occasions.

UPDATED: Scott Davies was scheduled for today's show, but unfortunately was unable to make it.  Nevertheless, we filled the show for 50 minutes chatting about Scott's background and other Phantom fun.  Our chatroom had a lively discussion too.  We will reschedule in the future and apologize for any inconvenience to our listeners. ORIGINAL SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: Join us early in the morning for a great interview with Scott Davies, the alternate Phantom in London's Production at Her Majesty's Theatre.  Scott has a long history of playing Phantom on stage in London and also on the UK tour. His portrayal is unique and very moving. 

In an effort to support up and coming Phantom talent, Andrew Wyeth Neal will be on the show to tell us about his work “The Angel of Music – Untold Musical Prequel to the Phantom of the Opera.” Writer and Composer born in Los Angeles, CA in 1988. Writes and Co-composes Musicals and Song lyrics and Composition. Writer and Lyricist for the musical, "Angel Of Music", The Untold Musical Prequel To The Phantom Of The Opera. "Angel Of Music" is the official prequel musical to "The Phantom Of The Opera". The story and lyrics were written by Andrew Neal. The music is done by Jenny Suh. It is currently being represented by "Taormina Teatro Group", an independent theater company founded by Andrew Neal in 2010. The script, lyrics and music are now officially finished.

Two individuals share the privilege of playing Christine Daae in the Phantom Vegas Specatcular production - Kristi Holden and Kristen Hertzenberg.
