Our guest this episode is Divy Sharma from Microsoft. Since so much has been said about Windows 10 and end-user experience, we decided to turn the tables on Divy and dive into the administrative user experience of Windows 10. Divy shared a wealth of hands-on knowledge and we discussed the implications of Windows 10 automatic updates and security components for the life of the IT and security ops admin. Aptly, in a poignant metaphor of the relationship between IT admins and end-users, Tal forgot to bring our microphone to today’s recording in order to punish Ben for reminding him to bring it, so this episode is a truly high fidelity discussion in very low fidelity audio. We hope the ratio of utility to torture is low and Tal vows never to forget the microphone again.
In the inaugural episode Tal and Ben discuss how to properly score and understand end user experience from an endpoint.
