Today, I take you through my personal journey with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sharing the relief and validation that came with understanding my diagnosis. We'll explore the critical importance of seeking professional help, navigating through the historical context of PTSD in the Diagnostic Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (DSM), and understanding how trauma uniquely impacts each individual. Join me as I recount my experiences living with PTSD, including memory lapses, hypervigilance, and sleep disturbances. These symptoms profoundly affected my everyday life, but therapy, medication, and support programs like Lauren Starnes' "When the Body Talks" played crucial roles in my path to better mental health. This episode aims to shed light on the complex interplay between trauma and the mind, emphasizing the need for consistent care and professional evaluation. In our concluding discussions, we focus on the healing journey, exploring effective treatments such as EMDR, cognitive behavior therapy, and complementary therapies like mindfulness and yoga. Embarking on a voyage of vulnerability, I open the treasure chest of my past where childhood trauma and the search for faith intertwine. Lydia Garner graciously steps into the interviewer's seat for this anniversary edition of the Wednesdays with Watson podcast, navigating through the waters of my personal narrative. Together, we unveil the intricate patterns of loss and abuse, but more prominently, the redemptive power of the gospel that has been my beacon of hope. The steadfast figures who've anchored me in trust and the scriptures that have been my compass through the darkest storms are shared with immense gratitude. The voices from my church community resonate throughout our conversation, highlighting the male figures who, against the backdrop of my traumatic experiences, helped me to rebuild trust brick by brick. We recount the moments of betrayal and the resilience forged in the sanctuary of faith, as well as the guiding light of educators like Mama Gallen who propelled me toward academic peaks I never dreamed reachable. The narrative thread weaves through poignant memories, transformative relationships, and the sanctuary of scripture, demonstrating the relentless pursuit of healing and the embrace of a community that reflects Christ's love.As the sails are set towards a horizon of trauma-informed education, we celebrate the milestones reached and the journey ahead. Gratitude overflows for the listeners, supporters, and friends who have accompanied me on this four-year odyssey, and for the new chapter that beckons with the promise of a doctorate focused on the intersection of faith and healing. It's been a bullish week for crude flat price this week and has been supported above $80 levels, reaching a peak of $85.50, which is seemingly finding resistance at current levels. However, overall market sentiment has been quite bullish from both hedge funds and speculators alike. As for refinery margins; there's been a week-on-week decline of nearly $3/bbl in the prompt. Currently on a downtrend but where will it find support?  Looking at oil from a macro perspective, China has cut the five-year loan frame rate by 25 basis points to 3.95%. Not only was that unexpected in the market, but this was the biggest move they've ever made, highlighting the urgency its central bank is trying to create to stimulate growth in the economy. Looking to CFTC and how people are positioned, we've been seeing hedge funds loading up on positions in both crude and refined products, but especially on crude futures in both Brent and WTI. Vincent's trade idea is Long Naphtha Cracks (A Contrarian Trade Idea – that found the bottom on Monday after an immense sell-off last week). Crexendo leadership thinks that different business model and interest in preserving partner equity, helps achieve growth, CPaaS, CCaaS, UCaaS coming together “It seems like yesterday we hit three million users. And in fact, back in 2022, we were ranked the fastest growing of the highest growth rate in North America for third-party platforms selling through service providers. 2023, we kept going. I mean, the growth of that of our business has been accelerating,” says Jason Byrne, SVP of Marketing for Crexendo. Crexendo is maintaining a growth rate that is twice that of the industry as whole, meaning that the company is also growing market share. Byrne tells us that “Cultivating a community-based or a community of service providers,” and then offering them a equity building approach to the market, has been a key to the company's success. “We have hackathons, tons of educational resources, you know, really keeping that communication channel open between themselves, not just us, right? The biggest, I think, one of the most positive things when using that, our platform as a service provider built in our platform is that community where folks, other service providers will exchange information, exchange what's working, what's not, and how to combat those bigger goliaths out in the industry…At the very core of the NetSapiens platform and the Crexendo approach has been to put the control back in the service providers hands and both on the commercial model.” Crexendo's pay for what you need model vs a fixed seat by seat, pay for license by license, even when many of those licenses are not being concurrently utilized at all hours, is another major, disruptive element. Byrne also takes us into the near future, where he sees UCaaS, CCaaS and CPaaS, basically coming together into new, connected offerings, that will enable the Crexendo partners to offer fresh ideas to their customers. Mark Olerud, a sales agent for Kore Controls, is always striving to find that path through the Architects, General Contractors, Lighting Designers, and Engineers. It's not always easy but often you can save hours of meetings and work by just talking to the people who will be using the space. They discuss the additional functionality that an enterprise browser can offer - such as built-in copy and paste palettes, PDF editors, and password managers — and caution about potential risks tied to browser extensions, underscoring the need for visibility, governance, and control in this area while allowing the end-users to drive the requests to ensure they get their work done.A secure enterprise browser, such as the one offered by Island.io, is pivotal in transforming the business narrative, where security ceases to be a mere protective measure and becomes a business enabler.
