His name is synonymous with The Delta Blues. His sound is unmistakable and his influence is heard everywhere even now, nearly a century since his death. You've heard snippets of the apocryphal legend that stands taller than most urban myths. A 20th century talltale that has become engrained in the American Identity, and yet so few know the real man behind it all. From a small farm community in rural Mississippi came a guitar player Son House even said could not play well. Yet if the legends aren't true there is no consensus on how he grew to become The King of The Delta Blues. Until recently it was thought that only two photographs of him were ever taken, and some even claimed he was never real. It was the love of a sister, and an army of disciples that brought the truth to light though, and still to this day...you can hear him when you go whistling past the graveyard.
