What is the largest piece of decor in a room?! YOUR FLOOR! We're talking different styles and durability and what you can do on your own, without an adultier adult!
Surprise! This has nothing to do with home renovation or DIY or anything about your home. And I'm not sorry for that. (Fresh new content is on it's way)...but it's Breast Cancer Awareness month and I had a scare this year. I have a platform and I felt it was important to talk about it, bring awareness and encourage people to head to the doc for a tata check. If my experience helps one person get a check up, then I'm happy. Enjoy! And check your tatas, and vote!
Hate your countertops, or your backsplash, or your cabinets? What should we repair or replace ourselves or when should we call an adultier adult? Hanging out with Mike from Trinity Renovations and chatting all about kitchen remodeling, new products and things we should probably not tackle on our own!
Here's how this goes. In spring, I head to my local plant store. I buy plants. They're pretty for a few weeks. One week, I forget to water them. The next week I kinda remember, life gets busy. I go on vacation or work a lot or play a lot and the next thing I know, I'm trying to revive said plant and it's just not working. The plants die and I throw them away promising next year will be different.... Sound familiar? I figured. So I chatted with Jenny at Sneed's Nursery about how to keep plants alive, what plants are easier to keep alive and what to plant instead of grass in the yard (since apparently I can't grow grass either....) Enjoy!
