Christmas, however it happens, means family for Robbie and Ayda as they welcome Grampy Pete back to the podcast - complete with his (interesting) Christmas tree. The family might be scattered this year but there will still be matching PJs. Plus Robbie prods the festive song brain of his narrator Noddy Holder to hear first-hand what it’s like to have a Christmas catchphrase and why you must believe in yourself... as well as Santa.

The 2020 version of Christmas won’t be the same but Robbie and Ayda argue that there’s still plenty that’s worth celebrating! So, they head to Stoke, virtually, to hear first-hand from some of those who’ve gone above and beyond to help others this year. There’s also the matter of Robbie’s new festive single to discuss - and crucially - who came up with the idea first... which may be the first minor family argument we’ve heard this Christmas-time. Plus, there’s a new narrator in town as Noddy Holder gets in on the festivities and keeps the Christmas peace.

Watch out, they’re back! And as this two-part special suggests, you really can’t hold back the Christmas festivities, or Robbie and Ayda when there’s festive chat to be had. Dropping into your feed more brightly than Rudolph’s red nose.

Like the rest of us, Robbie and Ayda are readjusting to life after staying at home for so long, and are masked-up and raring to go. The couple share their hopes for getting back to work and what they want to hold on to as precious learnings from lockdown. There are big plans for a move into TV and smaller plans to keep enjoying walks, where Robbie can finally go unnoticed thanks to a face mask.

Take That take centre stage... well, centre screen to be precise as Robbie and Ayda discuss working from home. Like many of us, they've been doing their own work from home. Robbie has performed with his 'Take That Brothers' and Ayda has been recording episodes of her (other!) podcast. There's also some very interesting Robbie music news on the horizon...

Who hasn’t put salad cream on watermelon? Bizarre food combos from Robbie Williams’ Christmas past get revealed during this week’s episode, as does the fact that his mother-in-law once used a photocopier inappropriately at an office Christmas party. Who knew? Plus Robbie and Ayda reveal what they’re getting the kids for Christmas - and it means there will be more mouths to feed...

The Christmas Present is not just the title of Robbie’s latest album, it’s also more widely known as the part of Christmas that children tend to favour, as Robbie and Ayda’s three children join in the fun this week. And when you’re young at heart anyway like the Williamses, then presents remain a very core part of the holidays as they all reminisce about favourite gifts from days of yore. Plus, there’s a festive game as the Williamses imagine buying the perfect gift for some of their favourite singers, including Beyoncé, Gary Barlow and yes, Liam Gallagher.

More, more, more is what Ayda would like when it comes to Christmas decorations, whereas Robbie cannot shake the memory of feeding the electric meter at his nan’s house, so is happy with less. But, how many Christmas trees should one house contain? Three it seems remains the magic number, at least where one of the Williamses is concerned. As Ayda and her mother recall, frankly when you’ve grown up Christmas party-ing with Mr & Mrs Charlton Heston of Hollywood, there’s no going back to frugality. 

Tasked with the online festive food shop by Ayda, this week Robbie and his dad, Papa Pete, take on their culinary challenge with gusto. The pair gets so involved, they even invent a new Christmas dish, which if we’re honest, we’re not sure many people would be able to stomach, with or without the suggested Robbie Williams’ autograph in balsamic vinegar, as he gamely suggests. There’s also a fun game to be had, for Robbie and his dad at least, with guessing how much anyone would pay for an enormous pig-in-blanket. Turns out, more than you’d think.

Come one, come all and join Robbie Williams at home with his family as they rediscover the magic of Christmas in preparation for the 2019 festivities. Well, to be fair, Ayda has always felt magical about this time of year, whereas Robbie used to be quite happy opening his presents on the cold, stone stairs of his bachelor pad. Not any more though, as Ayda and her mother, Nana Gwen, bring Christmas cheer to warm even the frostiest of hearts. And this year, there’s even an olive branch extended for one Liam Gallagher…

It’s a known fact that Robbie and Ayda go BIG on Christmas, and this year, they’re opening up their home and inviting everyone to be a part of the festivities!
