Very strange.Then Logan Paul and Austin Theory show up with The Vision, and things get wild when LA Knight and The Usos hit the ring. Big reaction. Big moment. Crowd loved it.Next we get a Women's Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender Gauntlet Match and this thing was actually very good wrestling.Match results included:IYO SKY beating Lyra ValkyriaSKY beating Raquel Rodriguez with a small packageIvy Nile sneaking a win after Raquel destroys SKYBayley eliminating Ivy NileBayley beating Asuka to win the entire gauntletGreat match. Tremendous performance from Bayley.Then Penta shows up with the Intercontinental Championship, cuts a passionate promo, even switches to Spanish — crowd loved it. Huge energy.He defends the title against El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) and retains with a Mexican Destroyer in a strong match.But the biggest shock?Judgment Day EXPLODES.Dominik Mysterio blames Finn Bálor for losing the IC title. Finn fires back and calls Dom a spoiled little prick (yes they censored it, very interesting). Then suddenly JD McDonagh betrays Finn, and the entire Judgment Day beats him down. Finn is OUT.Major story development.We also saw Oba Femi vs Rusev, which ended quickly with the Fall From Grace. Honestly, Rusev should've looked stronger.Then the main event segment:CM Punk vs The Usos.This was unbelievable television.Punk cuts a massive promo calling out Roman Reigns, the Bloodline, and even mentions Afa and Sika. Despite its time travel mechanics, high stakes, and pulpy murder plot, Don't Nod Entertainment's 2015 adventure game Life is Strange stood out from most video games with its unapologetic emphasis on queer romance and friendships. Yet for all the game's specificity, players around the world found something of themselves in its protagonist, Max Caulfield, a perceptive yet insecure teen photographer who discovers she has the ability to rewind time itself. Narrative designer Kaitlin Tremblay offers an intimate close reading in Life is Strange (Boss Fight Books, 2026) through the lenses of personal history, YA fantasy, identity formation, grief, and most of all, choice. If Max is “the sum of all the possible choices that she could make,” as Tremblay writes, then every decision we players make says something about who we are—and who we want to be. Kaitlin Tremblay is a writer and narrative designer. Rudolf Thomas Inderst (*1978) enjoys video games since 1985. He received a master's degree in political science, American cultural studies as well as contemporary and recent history from Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich and holds two PhDs in game studies (LMU & University of Passau). In this episode of The Box of Oddities, Kat and Jethro wander into two deeply unsettling mysteries—one quietly strange, the other heartbreakingly unresolved. First, we travel to Victorian London, where police reports, medical notes, and newspaper clippings from the late 19th century describe something profoundly wrong: shadows that didn't behave. Ordinary people reported silhouettes that lingered after they moved, climbed walls, hesitated in hallways, or crossed rooms on their own. These weren't ghost stories or sensational fiction. They appeared alongside lost umbrella notices and municipal complaints, filed under phrases like “unusual visual disturbances” and “irregular light phenomena.” For nearly two decades, these so-called “living shadows” were witnessed by sober, respectable individuals—including police officers—before vanishing from the historical record just as electric lighting replaced gas lamps. Why they appeared, and why they stopped, remains an eerie question with no official answer. Then, the episode shifts to one of the most haunting missing person cases in modern American history: the 2004 disappearance of Maura Murray.
