Are we witnessing the GOAT? The guys discuss how important Jarrett Stidham’s relationship with Bo is to the Broncos as Mike makes a crazy pitch for the Broncos’ backup. News is coming out about the severity of Cale Makar’s shoulder injury but is it any excuse for how the Avalanche lost in the Western Conference Finals? Mike and Stoke wrap up the first hour by losing a bet and talking about Bat Boy. 

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke react to the Avs’ embarrassing sweep at the hands of Vegas. They lament the horrible injury luck our favorite teams have suffered. The guys rank where this sweep ranks among the most painful playoff losses in Denver sports history. Mike calls for a major shakeup to the coaching staff and the Avalanche roster. They run through all the reasons why the Avalanche choked against Vegas and lays blame on the top guys for their performance. Mike and Stoke wrap up the first hour hearing the Avs faithful vent about the sweep.  

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they hear what Logan O’Connor, the last angry man on the Avalanche, had to say about the sweep. They wonder if the key injuries will play a part in the decision making in the offseason. They discuss what kind of coach the Avalanche need if they decide to replace Bedsy. They rank the worst, most painful playoff losses in the history of Denver sports. Stink and Stoke close out the third hour trying to talk Mike off the ledge. Is the Avs championship window closed?

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke and Stink are out today so we welcome in the lovely and talented James Merilatt to keep us all calm and relaxed.  The Avalanche are moving on to the Western Conference Finals and we now know their opponent will be the Vegas Golden Knights, Mike and James get into how this series can go and who is actually on the Vegas Golden Knights who have had some big roster changes in recent years.  And James Merilatt had a good idea about whether or not Sean Payton will retire if the Broncos win a Superbowl.   

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, James Merilatt is sitting in with Stoke and Stink out, and he starts out being overly negative about everything, but Mike starts to make some progress and gets him to change his Broncos prediction.  Mike and James continue to break down The Broncos schedule and look at which games they feel people should be concerned about, and James gives some Nuggets trade hypotheticals to try and get them out of the first-round next year.

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth as Mark joins the show, and John Davis sits in for Mike Evans, the guys hear some comments from Broncos rookie running back Jonah Coleman and predict whether he will compete for playing time with RJ Harvey.  The Avalanche get ready for game five against the Minesota Wild and everyone except Stoke is very confident about the Avs going forward.  And to finish up the hour, we listen to comments made about Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson being dirty, and Mark Schlereth tells us about when he learned Terrell Davis's name.   

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, John Davis is in for Mike Evans and the guys start to get ready for week one at Kansas City and take a look at the matchup between Davis Webb and Steve Spagnuolo, how will Davis Webb’s experience as a quarterback help him against one of the best defensive coordinators of all time.  The Avalanche look to close out the Minesota Wild tonight and Stoke has some reasons to be concerned.  And the guys close out the hour by remembering some of their favorite role players from teams they played on. 

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the Avalanche are about to take on the Minesota Wild in game five tonight and with John Davis in for Mike the guys get into what a win would mean for the Avs and who should be in net.  Some of the Broncos games have been released including Broncos vs Chiefs on Monday night football so John and Stoke get into the potential matchup between Davis Webb and Steve Spagnuolo.

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the Avalanche won game four against the Minesota wild last night despite how nervous Stoke was and now he owes Mike breakfast.  Sean Payton had some words of praise for second year tight end Caleb Lohner and we hear some comments from him about his coach having faith in him.  And we close out the hour by picking the brain of 9News Broncos insider Mike Klis about the Broncos opening game and Bo Nix’s ankle. 

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the Avs won game four last night in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Minesota Wild and they did it with a change in Goalies, Mike Stink and Stoke react to the decision and tell us if they would have done the same.  The Bronco's schedule hasn’t been released yet but we do know that the first Monday night Football game will be against Kansas City we just don't know where, and the guys break down how it could affect the Broncos season whether this game is at home or away.   

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the Avalanche lost their first game of the playoffs on Saturday, and Mike and Stoke get into what happened and who should be in net tonight.  George Paton signed a new five-year extension on Friday and the guys break down what it means for the Broncos and if they saw this coming.  Stoke isn’t happy about the goalie switch and what it might mean for the Avs but Mike isn’t quite as concerned.  

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Brocl Nelson has been nominated for the Selke award for best defensive forward, and Mike gets into some other Avs that should be nominated for postseason awards.  Mike and Stoke get into some trade ideas for certain Nuggets players and look at some potential players they could acquire. 

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke continues to be negative about everything and asks what would happen if the Avs lose to the Minesota Wild and Mike has trouble even thinking about it.  Stoke is still concerned about Bo Nix’s ankle and how durable it will be and Mike tends to agree.  And in What’s Trending, Mike gives us some reasons for optimism about the Rockies and more reason’s for pessimism about the Nuggets.   

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke take a hard look at the Nuggets roster and some potential additions they could actually make instead of everyone saying they should get Gianis.  Michael Porter Jr had even more to say recently, and it’s starting to get ridiculous. Jared Bednar is busy advocating Cale Makar to win the Norris trophy, but Mike thinks he will receive the Jokic treatment because he has won it too many times.  And to close out the hour, we listen to some humble comments from Rockies Manager Warren Schaefer that Stoke and Mike really like.        

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke break down tomorrow’s game three against the Minesota Wild and Mike asks if the three days in between games two and three was too much rest and Stoke is a little concerned after Wedgewood gave up six goals in game one after a week off.  And then we have everyone’s favorite weekly segment, Trivia powered by Window Nation!!!  Mike is 99% percent sure about a few answers and assumes his role as the Christian Braun of the Morning Show, Stoke Johny and Joe try to follow mike’s lead, and you’ll have to listen to find out the outcome.

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike Stoke and Stink get into the historical significance of The Avalanche winning the Stanley Cup and whether it would be the best Cup win the Avs have ever had.  Kay Adams was surprised at the amount of disrespect the Broncos have received nationally, so Mike asks Stoke and Stink what would have to happen for the Broncos to have a bad season. 

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Michael Porter Jr had some inflammatory comments about the Nuggets and who he roots for and Stoke has something to say about it, but Mark might be on the other side of things.  Sean Payton had some interesting comments to Kay Adams about Davis Webb and how long he will be calling plays and Mark tries to stay professional.  And today is a big day for Stoke’s son Carson who is having a big milestone today, it’s his last day of school!  To close out the hour the guys start talking about the Rockies and whether they are on the right track.
