The '97 Broncos signed Neil Smith, who helped put them over the top, will Jaylen Waddle be the piece that does the same for 2026 Broncos? The Broncos are strong in the trenches, but there are some areas of improvement that Stink needs to see corrected. John and Stink end the first hour talking about Zach Allen's bold prediction for the defense.

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stink and Stoke share stories about getting fired. Who is the first free agent domino to fall for the Nuggets? Does it work in their favor? Does Cale Makar owe the Avalanche a hometown discount on his pending megadeal? Mike and Stink debate. They discuss whether they’d want the Nuggets to kick the tires on LeBron and recap some of the latest news around NBA free agency. The Morning Crew cap off today’s show working through a scenario of having LeBron in Denver and wondering if Team USA has a must-win game tonight to keep the country invested int the World Cup.  

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they bounce around topics like Mike’s (fake) illustrious tennis career, a new job opportunity for Stink, and how much money PFM made Stoke. They revel in the schadenfreude of seeing a top player reject the Dallas Stars. They brace themselves for no big news for the Avs or the Nuggets. They open a mystery box from a dedicated listener. The guys wrap up the third hour with a bad look for CSU.  

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, both of our hosts are in rough shape between Stoke’s Shingles and Mike’s common cold. They recap yesterday’s NBA and NHL free agency action as it pertains to the Nuggets and Avs. They discuss what they hope the Nuggets do... then predict what they’ll actually do. There are some Nuggets fans listening who want to run it back next season, but how many times do you want to run it back until it’s time to make a change? The Nuggets’ free agency hinges on one player, Mike and Stoke tell you who that is. Mike and Stoke end the first hour telling Nuggets fans to be prepared for the Nuggets to run it back next season.  

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke has a conspiracy theory implicating Mrs. S of trying to become a black widow. We get our Cody update as Stoke tells the story of his terrible little dog’s rising star. The guys take some time to bash an absent Mike Evans before they look at the offseason grades from ESPN, how did the Broncos do? What are the biggest concerns about the Broncos? What’s Trending? Must-see TV from the World Cup and the Warriors are trying to put together the All-Decade Team of the 10’s. 

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth,  Scrappy Will Petersen fills in for a sickly Mike and Stoke is back from his Shingles affliction. Can he win the Ed Block Courage Award out of retirement? They get well wishes from the 6am texters before they air their concerns about Nikola Jokic possibly passing up a big contract extension. Stoke advocates for a Jaylen Brown trade. Will and Stoke wrap up the first hour talking about the report about the Nuggets looking for a babysitter for David Adelman. 

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they wish Stoke well with his recovery from the Shingles. Is it Jaylen Brown or Bust this offseason? Or is there a contingency plan for the Nuggets to make a big move? Stink gets salty about QB’s. They project where Bo Nix will rank in the NFL’s Top 100 list. How many Broncos will make it into the NFL Top 100 list? Who will the representatives be? Mike and Stink cap off today’s show ranting about how much they hate analytics in sports.  

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stink send their well wishes to a shingles afflicted Stoke. Is there a case for the Avalanche to make a change for change’s sake when it comes to Jared Bednar? Suppose the Rockies get under the 100-loss mark... what would be your expectations for next year if that happened? For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they debate how much merit the Avs’ apparent strategy of building through free agency is. The Morning Crew take on The Drive’s toughest trivia for The Fan’s weekly Trivia Challenge, how will they perform with the team’s captain out of commission? Mike and Stink cap off the week coming up with ideas to get Stoke back and speculating who else on the Avalanche could get dealt over the weekend.  

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they let the listeners know why Stoke’s out today... and Stink gets some shots in on him. Mike and Mark recap Team USA’s loss to Türkiye. For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, they try to diagnose what’s wrong with Stoke’s face before catching him up on the happenings while he was gone. They try to get into the Avalanche's head with their recent trades before they get breaking NBA news. They discuss the fallout of another huge NBA trade that makes the Western Conference even more stacked. Is a big trade mandatory for the Nuggets now? What’s Trending? The plan for the Ball Arena tenants, progress for the Rox, and a gravy game for Team USA.  

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke is gone to The Pitt  as Mike and Stink cover a poll about which upcoming Broncos free agent is the highest priority. Mike argues that Marvin Mims isn’t getting enough chances to contribute to the Broncos, is there any room for improvement for Sean Payton’s first draft pick? As much as they may hate it, the guys explain why the Nuggets need to take a page out of the Minnesota Timberwolves’ book when it comes to team building.
