Business Ready For Business

If you don’t choose a position you want in life, life will choose one for you. We become accountable to outcomes when we take control of our choices. In this episode I talk about the one choice that nobody or situation can take from you. I also talk about reflecting on past choices and acknowledging the impact past choices have had on our lives.

This episode is a high level reflection of the past 10 years of my life, the opportunities taken and lessons learned. The next decade is going to produce a different set of results because this time there's an awareness of the milestone which creates the potential to reach new levels of success.

Self awareness puts you in the position to understand your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Personally I struggle with marketing but in this episode I talk about why it’s important for me to get better at being a marketer rather than just handing over the job to someone else. Knowing yourself improves our ability to make better decisions that take advantage of our strengths and also say yes and no to opportunities that present themselves to us.

In this episode I talk about why I decided to give my son books for his 18th birthday over materialistic gifts and the value I think he can gain from it. I also talk about leaving a legacy for 5 generations and the requirements they would have to meet to be able to access the resources.

Being talented isn’t enough to ensure success, however, ridiculous work ethic increases your chances. This episode is dedicated to the person that taught me what working ethic looks like, my mum. I share a story about a childhood experience that imprinted a permanent reference point for working hard. There are so many opportunities available in this world and I believe those of us that put the work into preparation become the so called lucky ones, what do you think?
