    After quickly falling in love with the television show One Mississippi, which we watched on Amazon Prime, Maura and I decided to share what we love most about it with all of you. This podcast breaks down lesbian representation on the show, the importance of seeing characters pick themselves up after hard times, and also the impressive humor Tig Notaro and the other characters maintain throughout.

    Lili Wilkinson provides a unique look into how we as humans hide from change. Many people (young and old) are afraid of even searching for who they really are for fear of scrutiny and pushback from peers. I myself struggled with this throughout adolescence. Teens should read this book and work to overcome their fears. This is a wonderful book by a young adult Australian author.
