Creative Code Budapest Podcast Episode #004 In the CCBP Podcast we invite some of our most inspiring meetup speakers to have a long-form conversation about their work and background. This is a very special episode, which was recorded before corona, and found its way to become public just right now after a series of very random very unexpectable events. Today's guest: Paul Oomen, the founder of 4D Sound. Paul was born in Amsterdam, he is a composer, curator and technologist. From an early age on he gathered experience in theatre as an actor and director, and as a musician skilled in percussion, piano and singing. He specialised himself initially as a composer of music for theatre and opera, before he turned to work exclusively on the investigation of space, sound and perception within the context of 4DSOUND. As Head of Development at the Spatial Sound Institute, he supports artistic practice and research at the Institute, driven by his vision on the development of spatial sound as a new medium. https://spatialsoundinstitute.com/Paul-Oomen https://4dsound.net/ ### Credits Host: Declan Hannigan www.declanhannigan.com Producer: Jérôme Li-Thiao-Té | Watcha Studios www.jeromelithiaote.com/ www.watchastudios.com/ Editing+Sound: Vladimir Razhev razhev.space ### About Creative Code Budapest Creative Code Budapest is a community for creative coders, new media artists, pixel tinkerers, arduino masters, nerds, habitants of virtual and augmented realities and curious people.
