Dark Daze

Kara and Ares start to learn a little bit more about Professor Hathaway and who he is...  Not to mention they soon run into trouble.  As Kara starts to unveil a little more of her new found existence she discovers foes and that things aren't always what they seem.

Kara becomes more frustrated and intrigued as she wakes from a dream she repeatedly has.  Ares there to comfort her begins to fill her in on the connection between the two of them.

As Kara stays at the mansion Callixtus Seraphim, she starts to feel like she is losing herself the more she learns.  She feels as though her life is nothing but a gigantic, mysterious puzzle.  Yet the more pieces she puts together the more pieces appear.  It's a never-ending puzzle.  She can't win for losing.

Kara starts to gain knowledge on the things that have been taken place in her life.  Her actual reality starts to be revealed to her and she finds it hard to believe that the fabricated lies in her life are just the beggining.

Kara Lane tries to gain clarity on the changes that seem to have affected her daily routine.  New information starts to unfold and she finds herself in the mist of an entire new life.

Kara Lane is a young adult that views her life as nothing more than ordinary as she starts Turtle Cove University, hoping that college will bring her something more in life.  She resents her parents for neglecting her, not knowing that they all are part of something bigger and it was only to give her a normal life for as long as possible; but, that all is about to change. In the campus library she stumbles upon a thick, dusty, old, ancient book with a picture of the necklace her parents gave her years ago. Interestingly enough she finds that her necklace is the Calix, it holds the symbol of the dark moon and emerald crystal. It seems to be an ancient necklace that stays within her family, selecting its individuals who possess great power to take on the responsibility of being the most powerful witch.  After meeting a mysterious guy on campus named Ares, she shortly finds out that he is part warrior, part guardian; one who is selected to protect witches and battle evil.  Ares and Kara fight against their chemistry because of the one cardinal rule... that a guardian may not love the very one they are chosen to protect. As she learns about the life her parents have shielded her from she is faced with great obstacles. Her days are filled with hunters, dark magic, warriors, forbidden spells, unearthly realms, enchanting creatures all tied to her ancient artifact. Kara will have to learn quickly from her guardian, invoking who she truly is, so she can battle her family’s dark past, and the devious, treacherous, powerful souls with a venomous agenda. In the end she will master her abilities to help her coven, save her parents, and put a stop to the threat that lies ahead. But at what cost?
