Hidden biblical patterns from Genesis to Revelation predict an Islamic takeover of the West that makes sense of everything from the plagues in Egypt to the Arab Spring to the Islamization of the West. Glenn sits down with Pastor Bill Cloud for a conversation that Glenn warns could get the pastor arrested if he were in Europe. Could the red-green alliance of Marxists and Islamists have been foretold in the book of Daniel? Bill shows where the Bible hints at an “Arab” kingdom set to rule in the last days before Jesus returns and reveals the connection between a broken covenant and the rise of the Islamic god. Glenn wonders how long until the tribulation, and Bill has a thoughtful answer for why so many Americans are questioning support for Israel and increasingly calling for a Palestinian state “from the river to the sea.” They examine the similarities between the Antichrist in the book of Revelation and the 12th imam of Islam, and Bill explains why it's not men like Ayatollah Khamenei who scare him — it's men like Zohran Mamdani. Chris Ramsay of @Area52Investigations returns! Is the UFO phenomenon a nuts-and-bolts technology from another planet, or a "cosmic performance" designed to manipulate and evolve human consciousness?
Have you been living within a role for years—only to wonder if there is more of you still waiting to be known? For decades, Becky Allender stood faithfully behind the scenes, supporting Dan's work, praying as an intercessor, helping build what would become the Allender Center. Yet she also carried the ache of being "in the room" without fully feeling she had a seat at the table. In today's conversation, she names the cost of that tension, and the courage it took to step forward. When Becky chose to participate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care—the very framework her husband helped create—something began to shift. Through the steady presence of skilled facilitators and courageous companions, she encountered grief she hadn't fully named and discovered a growing kindness toward parts of herself long defended or hidden. What followed was not only personal healing, but relational transformation. Through the language she gained and interactions she experienced, her relationship with Dan deepened. Repair with her daughters became possible. Her love for her parents softened and expanded. And from that engagement with her story emerged a clearer sense of calling—expressed in her teaching, leadership, and her memoir, Hidden in Plain Sight. Perhaps most compelling is this: Becky began this work after decades of marriage, motherhood, and ministry. It was not too late. And it is not too late for you. What might you be missing by staying in the role you've always carried? And what new life could unfold if you trusted that your story is still being written? *This episode mentions an incident of rape; listener discretion is advised. About the Allender Center Podcast: For over a decade, the Allender Center Podcast has offered honest, thoughtful conversations about the deep work of healing and transformation. The Beliefs That Shape Our Behavior One of the most frustrating experiences in life is knowing exactly what to do, but still not doing it. If you've ever tried to quit drinking, build a new habit, improve your health, or pursue a goal and found yourself slipping back into old patterns, you're not alone. In this episode, I talk with behavioral design expert and bestselling author Nir Eyal about why this happens. The answer isn't a lack of knowledge. It's BELIEF. The Motivation Triangle Nir explains that motivation isn't just about wanting something. It's actually built on three elements: Behavior Benefit Belief If we don't believe the effort will work—or if we don't believe we're capable of change—our motivation collapses. We might know exactly what to do, but something inside stops us from taking action. This is why so many people struggle with the knowledge-action gap. The Power of Beliefs One of the most powerful ideas Nir shares is this: Beliefs are tools, not truths. Most of us assume our beliefs are facts. But many beliefs are simply interpretations we've repeated so often they feel true. And those beliefs shape everything: What we notice How we interpret events What actions we take This is why two people can experience the same situation and come away with completely different conclusions. Pain vs. Suffering Another important distinction we discuss is the difference between pain and suffering. Pain is a signal. Suffering is the interpretation of that signal. When we believe discomfort is unbearable, we escape it—often through unhealthy behaviors. But when we learn to reinterpret discomfort, we gain the ability to stay present instead of reacting impulsively. Persistence Is the Real Secret One fascinating study Nir shares involved rats swimming in water. Normally they gave up after about 15 minutes. But when the researchers briefly rescued them and then returned them to the water, the rats kept swimming for 60 hours. The only thing that changed was their belief that rescue might be possible. That belief unlocked persistence. And persistence is what ultimately determines success. Action Steps If you want to apply these ideas in your life, start with these steps: Identify a belief that might be limiting you. Ask yourself if it's absolutely true. Consider alternative explanations. Notice how that belief affects your behavior. Experiment with a more empowering belief. When we change our beliefs, we often change our actions—and our lives. EPYSODE 74: Are You Serious? by Van Duren. Guest: Van Duren. Additional commentary by Uncle Herff. In 1978, while punk was exploding and disco ruled the charts, a razor-sharp pop record quietly slipped through the cracks. Are You Serious? should have been a defining album of the late '70s. Instead, it became a cult favourite whispered about by collectors and power pop devotees. This week, we dig into the story behind this Memphis-born gem: the jangling guitars, the smart lyrics, and the Big Star–adjacent brilliance that makes this album one of the great lost power pop records of the era. How did it miss commercial success? From studio lore to standout tracks, we revisit a record that proves sometimes the best albums aren't the ones that topped the charts...they're the ones waiting to be rediscovered. If you love 70s power pop or overlooked vinyl-era classics, this one's essential listening. I hope you dig Are You Serious? as much as I do. - Farmer John ===CONNECT & SUPPORT=== Transport yourself into the realm of grooviness by supporting us on Patreon for as little as $2/month using this link --> patreon.com/FarmerJohnMusic Use this link to follow us on Facebook --> https://www.facebook.com/farmerjohnmusic/ Use this link to follow us on Instagram --> https://www.instagram.com/vinylrelics/ Use this link to follow us on TikTok --> https://www.tiktok.com/@vinylrelicspodcast Use this link to follow us on BlueSky --> https://bsky.app/profile/farmerjohnmusic.bsky.social And find us on X @VinylRelicsPod Email me @ farmerjohnmusic@gmail.com ===LINKS=== Grab all of Van's albums here: https://omnivorerecordings.com/van-duren/ Here's a link to the award winning documentary titled “Waiting: The Van Duren Story”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwxjkFjFPv4 Check out the Loveland Duren website here: https://www.lovelandduren.com ===THE MUSIC=== Songs used in this Epysode, in order of appearance. What makes a retreat truly transformational? In this episode, Leni Cavazos sits down with Agathe Lazaro, designer, retreat space curator, and founder of sacred retreat properties in Provence, France and Pondicherry, India, to explore the deeper layers of retreat creation. This conversation bridges the worlds of hospitality, neuroscience, sensory intelligence, and retreat leadership, revealing why the most powerful retreats are designed with far more than schedules and workshops. ⬛️ In this episode, you'll discover: ▪️ Why the retreat experience begins long before participants arrive ▪️ How sensory intelligence impacts transformation during retreats ▪️ The connection between beauty, safety, and the nervous system ▪️ Why retreat leaders must act as the "weavers" of the experience ▪️ How subtle details in space, scent, sound, and environment influence the entire journey As Leni often says, a profitable retreat isn't just about filling the room, it's about creating an experience that people remember, recommend, and return to. This episode reveals the deeper layer of how that happens.
The Devil WithinThe Castle of the Damned — Episode One: The Necromancer's Bargain Episode Overview In 1987, an archaeological team investigating Hermitage Castle in the Scottish Borders made a discovery that would disturb historians, archaeologists, and paranormal investigators alike. Hidden beneath the castle's great hall was a sealed chamber, untouched for centuries. Inside they found ritual symbols carved into the stone, shelves of forbidden texts, and a lead coffin covered in Latin inscriptions. Something inside had been trying to claw its way out. And according to medieval records… it once belonged to William de Soulis. This episode investigates the dark legend of William de Soulis — a fourteenth-century nobleman whose obsession with forbidden knowledge transformed his castle into what historians now believe may have been a ritual laboratory for necromantic experiments. We explore: The strange library of occult texts inherited by the de Soulis family William's documented experiments attempting to communicate with supernatural entities His alleged bargain with an entity known only as “The Teacher” The gradual transformation of both the man and the castle itself Reports of supernatural architecture within Hermitage Castle — rooms and corridors behaving impossibly The violent events surrounding William's death in 1320 The extraordinary measures taken by monks to seal his body in lead and stone But the story does not end with his death. Because when archaeologists reopened the hidden chamber in 1987… the coffin was no longer sealed. Themes in This Episode: The dangers of knowledge pursued without wisdom Medieval occult traditions hidden within historical records The intersection of ambition, scholarship, and supernatural belief Whether evil is invited… or discovered The excavation of Hermitage Castle revealed far more than medieval artifacts. It may have reawakened something. And the people who studied the discovery would soon begin to pay a terrible price.

If you've ever felt pressure to be the "good girl," you're not the only one. Dr. Mindy has heard from thousands of women who feel exhausted by the pressure to be agreeable, accommodating, and selfless. Many women were taught that being good meant putting everyone else first. But over time, that pattern often leads to resentment, burnout, and a deep disconnection from your own voice. That's why Dr. Mindy invited writer and cultural critic Elise Loehnen to join her for this conversation. Elise is the former Chief Content Officer of goop and the New York Times bestselling author of On Our Best Behavior: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Price Women Pay to Be Good. Through her writing and podcast Pulling the Thread, Elise explores the cultural expectations that shape women's lives and how those expectations influence our relationships, emotions, and sense of identity. In this conversation, Dr. Mindy and Elise unpack the invisible rules women have been taught to live by for generations. They explore why women were conditioned to suppress emotions like anger and envy, how people-pleasing shows up in female friendships, and why learning to trust your intuition is one of the most important skills a woman can develop. In this episode, you'll learn how to: -Reconnect with your intuition and inner authority -Understand the cultural conditioning shaping women's behavior -Recognize how suppressed emotions impact your health -Navigate female friendships with more awareness -Step out of people-pleasing patterns -Reclaim your voice and authenticity For any woman who feels like she has been living by expectations that don't truly belong to her, this conversation offers a new perspective. So we discuss a little bit about a lot of things, including the concepts themselves, the people who have generated and worked on those concepts. I should also mentioned, Tom recorded a bunch of his interviews with people he writes about, and he's edited and polished those into a podcast called the Cognition Project, which I have enjoyed after reading the book, and I think you'd enjoy it either before or after you read the book. I thought the goal of my recent promotion was simple: sell 40 prepaid online store credit memberships. That was it. 40 spots. Hit the revenue goal. Move on. But as I was building the emails, teasing it on social media, and checking my stats inside Kit (my email service provider), I noticed something unexpected… My email list had jumped a LOT. And it wasn't random. It was happening because of how I positioned the promotion before it ever opened. That's when it clicked! Every promotion has a second goal. And most farmers completely miss it. Yes, promotions are meant to generate revenue. But they can also be powerful email list growth engines -- if you structure them intentionally. Inside Farm Marketing School, I serve vegetable CSA farmers, grass-fed meat producers, flower growers, dairy farms, microgreen subscriptions, and value-added brands — and this principle applies to every single one of them. In this episode, I unpack: Why most farmers unintentionally leave this opportunity on the table How to rethink the "runway" before you open the doors Why insider access can transform your email list into a VIP club And how this strategy works whether you're selling vegetables, meat, flowers, dairy, microgreens, value-added products, or farm experiences If you want to know exactly how to structure this strategy for your next launch, you'll need to listen in. Resources Mentioned in This Episode: What email provider do I use? I recommend Kit.com (formerly ConvertKit.com) -- it is easy to use, powerful, and getting better every year. It also integrates with most e-commerce providers and tools. Use my affiliate link! Farm Marketing School is my step-by-step membership program for direct-to-consumer farmers who are ready to treat marketing like a system, not a guessing game. Inside, you'll get plug-and-play projects, templates, monthly coaching, and a repeatable framework to help you grow your email list, run stronger promotions, and increase sales (whether you're a vegetable, meat, CSA, flower, dairy, microgreen, or value-added farm). Your investment is only $69/month. Over 15 marketing projects to choose from.
Kentucky's war on woke is far from over—our public universities are openly defying the law!I talk with Adam Guillette from Accuracy In Media (AIM) to break down their recent explosive undercover investigations that have exposed Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. Hidden cameras caught staff admitting DEI is still alive and embedded in curricula—rebranded, hidden, and funded by YOUR tax dollars—in direct violation of Kentucky's ban.We dive into the MOST RECENT video: AIM's undercover footage from Western Kentucky University (WKU), where an admin casually admits they're still forcing "anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion" down students' throats using an accreditation loophole. They think we're too dumb to notice. Why does stopping these DEI policies matter? Because DEI lowers standards, discriminates against qualified Kentuckians based on race or sex, wastes millions in taxpayer money, and drags down academic excellence for EVERYONE.Plus: SB 199 lets chemical manufacturers hide real risks behind EPA-approved labels. Click Here to ask your book writing and publishing questions!Creative careers look glamorous from the outside. The inside is usually…a little messier. In episode 160, I sit down with Liz Astrof, TV writer ("Stumble," "King of Queens," "Pivoting," etc.) and author of Stay-At-Work Mom, to talk about the real mechanics of building a career in entertainment and publishing. Not the highlight reel. The actual process.Liz shares what it's like to write for television while also stepping into the world of books. Different mediums. Different pressures. Same core truth: Good work takes time to find its footing. We talk about the long stretch between idea and green light. The pitches that don't land. The projects that stall. And why collaboration is both the magic and the madness of working in TV (and being an author!).She also shares a candid look at her version of resilience. Not the motivational-poster version but the practical version, where you keep showing up, keep refining, and keep creating—even when the timeline isn't cooperating (which, let's face it, is the one constant). If you've ever wondered how creative careers actually unfold—or questioned whether persistence alone is enough—this conversation will feel familiar and encouraging in the best possible ways.***** This episode is sponsored by Atticus, the all-in-one writing and book formatting software for self-publishing authors. Do people really like our all-enveloping autocentric system quite as much as everyone keeps saying they do? What kind of communities would they live in if given the choice? The answers, as a new study shows, are not exactly what so many of us have been told. Nearly one in five American car owners is "strongly interested" in living car-free, and another 40 percent are open to the idea. We talked about the implications of that study with its authors, Nicole Corcoran, Deborah Salon, and Hue-Tam Jamme, researchers at the Arizona State University School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning in Tempe. Why do kids feel like everyone else has more?In this thoughtful and eye-opening conversation, Rabbi Ari Schonfeld shares practical insights on parenting, money, social pressure, and how children develop their sense of self in a world filled with comparisons. From growing up in a home with very little, to leading a yeshiva and running a summer camp, Rabbi Schonfeld offers a rare perspective on what kids actually notice about money — and what parents often underestimate. When do children start comparing themselves to others? Why do brands, vacations, and clothing suddenly matter so much? And how can parents raise kids who feel confident and proud of their values, even when they can't have everything their friends have?Along the way, Rabbi Schonfeld shares powerful stories about childhood, school environments, parenting challenges, and one unforgettable moment when a teenager said something that stopped him in his tracks: “I don't want his trips. I want him.” This is an honest conversation about money, parenting, pressure, and what kids really want from the people raising them.I'm grateful to have had this conversation with Rabbi Ari Schonfeld.R' Ari's podcast can be found on:Apple - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-learning-curve-mishpacha/id1744827367Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/5ISRvKPoVS77dZqbbDNx1e?si=RnoE0DF9RLuAbHQbYAqYWA

The Blood of Christ and the Courtroom of Heaven – Part 2 | KIB 521 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description In Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode 521, Dr. Michael and Mary Lou Lake continue their powerful teaching on the courtroom of heaven and the legal authority of the Blood of Jesus. The Bible consistently reveals a judicial structure in the spirit realm. From the divine council in Psalm 82, to the accusations of Satan in Job, to the final judgments described in Revelation, Scripture presents a coherent picture of covenant law operating in God's heavenly court. In this episode, Dr. Lake explains how Satan functions as the accuser, how repentance removes legal ground from the enemy, and why the blood of Jesus speaks legally in the courtroom of heaven. This discussion also addresses: The role of covenant law in spiritual warfare How repentance shuts down Satan's accusations Why the blood of Jesus is the believer's legal defense The danger of disconnecting the Church from the Old Testament How obedience to God's commandments maintains covenant alignment Why spiritual maturity is essential in the last days Understanding these principles is vital for the remnant as we approach the prophetic events of the end times.

Last week we talked about property taxes being reset when land changes hands. That is true, but it is not the whole story. One of our listeners, Steve related a personal story which I'm going to share here. He writes:Your property tax episode struck home. My family owned what started as landfill since 1969 in California. In the late 90's it was full and a race track built on it. The track builders signed a 25 year ground lease with extensions. Since the lease was this long it was deemed an effective sale. Taxes went from 15k/ year to over $200k per year. Years later when we had to evict the tenants we got stuck with the new amount
Anxiety and insomnia aren't always a mindset problem—they can be chemistry and nervous-system overload. In Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, hosted by Avik, nutritionist Beverly Meyer unpacks GABA and the body's “calm” circuitry. This episode is for anyone who feels wired at night, overwhelmed by thoughts, or tired of chasing quick fixes. You'll hear about sensory overload, the habit of catastrophizing, and practical ways to think about support through food, rest, and daily habits. About the Guest: Beverly Meyer is a clinical nutritionist and health educator (in practice since the 1980s) and the host of Primal Diet, Modern Health. Episode Chapter: 00:02:56 — Stress and poor sleep as signals, not “normal life” 00:05:35 — Beverly's burnout chapter and the moment she had to stop 00:07:26 — Discovering GABA and why it changed everything 00:08:57 — The big misconception: anxiety isn't only psychological 00:12:39 — Catastrophizing and how to return to the rational mind 00:14:51 — Fight/flight/freeze: what chronic stress does over time 00:20:23 — “PharmaGABA,” the blood-brain barrier, and bedtime calm tools Key Takeaways: Anxiety can be a body signal, not a personal failure. Notice catastrophizing early and return to the next rational step. Ongoing stress keeps fight/flight/freeze switched on; recovery needs real downtime. Avoid miracle “hacks”; build calm with consistent nutrition, sleep, and habits. Most people think feeling tired, foggy, and “off” is just what happens with age.But what if the real issue is that your cells are running on less fuel than they used to?In this episode of the Kwik Brain podcast, I sit down with Dr. Andrew Salzman, Harvard-trained physician, inventor, and biomedical entrepreneur, to unpack what's happening at the cellular level when energy drops and your brain stops feeling sharp. We break down NAD, a molecule involved in hundreds of critical reactions in the body, why it declines as you age, and how inflammation can accelerate that decline. We also talk about NMN, and why your brain is often the first place you feel the effects when cellular energy dips.In this episode, you'll learn: ☑️ What NAD does for energy, cognition, and resilience ☑️ Why NAD drops so significantly by midlife ☑️ How NMN works as a precursor to support NAD production ☑️ The “bathtub” model: why boosting NAD is not just about adding more, but also slowing the drain ☑️ How inflammation can drive NAD depletion through CD38 ☑️ Why better cellular energy can translate into clearer thinking, better memory, and sharper focusIf you've been feeling like your brain isn't firing the way it used to, your energy is unpredictable, or your focus is slipping, this episode will help you understand what's happening underneath the surface and what you can do to support your brain at the level where performance actually starts: your cells.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
