The character was previously thought to be Nathan West but, as confirmed by the General Hospital writers, it was Cassius all along. The episode featured several significant revelations about Cassius, including his connection to villains Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).  GH spoilers suggest Cassius was not only working for them but also masterminded the idea of taking over his twin brother's life. Cassius' ruthless nature was evident as he played a crucial role in framing Laura Sonny for Hank Dalton's murder, and even saw the poisoning of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as an opportunity to seamlessly transition into Nathan's life.  Spoilers for General Hospital indicate that despite these dark actions, Cassius shows signs of vulnerability and transformation. The reception he receives as Nathan, filled with love and respect, is a new experience for him. His emotional attachment to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and James West (Gary James Fuller) appears to be genuine, and he seems to be increasingly torn between fulfilling Cullum's agenda and maintaining the life he has built as Nathan.
