This is a call up meeting at the 3rd Annual Columbia River Young Peoples Roundup from September of 1978. The topic of the meeting is On Awakening and has a number of folks in the audience coming up and sharing on the topic. If you have any recordings of young peoples events you are willing to share please email me, I feel like this is one area my speaker resources are a bit weak. About once a year I get an email asking me why in the podcast opening I say that this "Is a podcast for men". I am saying "In a podcast format". When I listen to it nothing about it sounds like Im saying "for men" rather than "format" but apparently some of you hear "for men" I assure you the word is format! In this episode, Renee Swanson talks about the painful reality many survivors face after awareness begins: why nothing improves—even when you communicate better, regulate your emotions, go to therapy, and genuinely try to repair the relationship. This conversation is not about blaming yourself, diagnosing a partner, or pushing you toward a decision. It's about understanding why effort alone doesn't lead to change in covert narcissistic dynamics—and why that realization can feel both devastating and relieving at the same time. We'll explore the difference between healthy conflict and covert narcissistic dynamics, specifically how attempts at repair are often met with deflection, defensiveness, silence, or emotional punishment rather than accountability and follow-through. We'll talk about the healthy relationship tools you've likely been using—clear communication, emotional regulation, self-reflection, better timing—and why those tools only work when both people are oriented toward repair. In this episode, I share the audio version of a conversation I had recently with my husband Mark about the spiritual awakening that led me to escape the cult we were in, and ultimately help others escape and bring about justice. It's a part of the story that wasn't told in the HBO doc-series ‘The Vow' and feels like such an important piece of how people wake up from abusive situations in general. When we remember who we really are, and come back to the beauty and magnificence of our true nature, we're no longer controllable! This conversation was a vulnerable deep dive and I hope it can spark something in you and help you connect more deeply to your truth and power. Welcome to 2026, brother. In this foundational episode of the The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, Kevin opens a new chapter by returning to the core principles of awakening, alignment, and conscious leadership - while introducing a new format that will shape the year ahead. This episode sets the tone for what's coming next. As Kevin prepares to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, upcoming episodes will feature conversations with brothers who have completed the Tribe coach certification and graduated through the Academy. These men represent living examples of what happens when awakening stops being an abstract idea and becomes a lived, practical experience. At the heart of this episode is a reset to fundamentals. Kevin breaks down awakening not as a mystical or “woo” concept, but as a grounded, functional process for becoming more effective in life, relationships, and purpose. Awakening, as he frames it, is not about becoming something new - it's about remembering who you already are beneath conditioning. The episode introduces the Alpha/Beta framework and clarifies the Beta condition as a mental program: conditioned thought patterns shaped by upbringing, culture, biology, and repetition. This program filters reality, creating fear, doubt, and reactivity. The Alpha state, by contrast, is the observer - the one who watches the program, rewrites it when necessary, and restores proper cause-and-effect in life.Using the Model of Alignment, Kevin explains how thoughts create feelings, feelings drive actions, and actions produce results - and why separating thoughts from facts is the first and most essential step in reclaiming authority over your life. When the outer world stops being the cause of your inner world, you move from reaction to intention, from victimhood to authorship. From there, the episode expands into a deeper integration of three interwoven domains: the outer world (environment and circumstance), the inner world (thoughts and narratives), and the energetic world (your unseen blueprint). Kevin shows how mastery comes not from escaping these realms, but from integrating them - like piloting a ship with multiple control panels working in harmony. This framework is applied directly to real life, including dating and relationships. Kevin dismantles common misconceptions around attraction, confidence, and masculine presence, emphasizing that true connection begins with awareness of your own inner and energetic states - not manipulation, performance, or trying to read someone else's mind. The episode also introduces Human Design as a practical tool for understanding energetic mechanics beyond traditional psychology or astrology, while reinforcing a timeless truth: you will never fully know another person's inner world. Your work is to know your own. This is a return to the basics - but at a higher altitude. A call to clean the window, reclaim authorship, and step into 2026 grounded, awake, and aligned.Until next week, brother - elevate your Alpha.
Why I'm Not Happy Yet — The Power of Presence | Makes Sense with Dr. JC Why do so many people feel unhappy even while doing everything “right”—setting goals, visualizing the future, and chasing improvement? In this episode of Makes Sense with Dr. JC, Dr. JC explores the overlooked downside of personal growth culture: living for a better future while unconsciously rejecting the present moment. Through philosophical reflection, lived experience, and insights inspired by thinkers like Alan Watts, this episode reframes happiness, mindfulness, and presence. Rather than something you practice, control, or discipline yourself into, presence emerges naturally through awareness, wonder, and awe at the simple fact that you exist at all. This conversation dives into themes of mindfulness, awareness, consciousness, overthinking, fear, urgency, nature, and the illusion of separation—revealing why happiness is never found “later,” but only noticed now. If you've ever asked yourself, “Why am I still not happy yet?” this episode offers a perspective that may quietly change how you experience your life. In this episode, Matthew “Whiz” Buckley delivers one of his most unfiltered and important debriefs to date.He opens by addressing the Somalian fraud uncovered in Minnesota, and the deep outrage it ignites in him as a combat veteran. While millions are exploited through systemic fraud, countless veterans continue to fight exhausting, dehumanizing battles to access the benefits they were promised for their service. Buckley makes one thing clear: these benefits are not handouts. They are obligations. Earned. Owed. The conversation then shifts to a year-end debrief of No Fallen Heroes Foundation and what 2025 represented. Buckley reflects on the lives impacted, the healing witnessed, and the responsibility that comes with holding space for those carrying war, trauma, addiction, and loss. He also previews what lies ahead in 2026, outlining the next phase of growth, reach, and mission expansion as the foundation continues its work to bring real healing home to veterans and their families. The second half of the episode turns deeply personal and profoundly human.Buckley shares a raw debrief of his own spiritual awakening and why it became an inseparable part of his healing journey. He speaks to the spiritual injuries that so often go unnamed, especially among veterans, and challenges the idea that healing can be complete without addressing the deeper questions of identity, meaning, and connection. Awakening, he explains, is not a sign of being broken, but a process of remembering what was always there beneath the trauma. This episode stands at the intersection of accountability, service, and transformation. It is a call to honor veterans not just with words, but with action. And it is an invitation for anyone on a healing path to understand that spiritual awakening is not separate from recovery. It is often the doorway through it.This is not a comfortable conversation. It is a necessary one.Return Home.

I want to share something a little vulnerable with you. Recording solo episodes still stretches me. Even after all these years of hosting my podcast (9 years this month!), there's still a part of me that wonders, "Will this resonate? Is this what you want to hear?" And yet… lately, I keep getting the same nudge and download. In the shower. On walks. Lots of signs on the road. In quiet moments with myself. "Do more solos." "Trust your guidance." "You're here to do more healing work." So this episode is me listening to that inner voice — and trusting it. It's part of how I continue to heal my thyroid (hello throat chakra) and trust in my higher self. Meaning, this episode is not scripted. It's not overly polished. It's a heart-centered message that wanted to come through for the beginning of this year — for you and for me. The cards I pulled made me feel like they were chosen by a divine hand. There's also a healing activation woven in, because that's what keeps wanting to emerge. Also, I was inspired to send distant Reiki

There are a lot of misconceptions of basic Buddhist teachings and in this talk Mary reflects on a few. The Buddha did not say that "Life is Suffering", but instead that there is suffering, and there is a way out. Additionally, equanimity and being present for what is, does not condone injustice or greed, hatred and ignorance. Buddhist practice is a way of being in the world and fully engaged with it.Recorded Jan. 2, 2025 in the virtual worldSend me a text with any questions or comments! LESSON 6I Am Upset Because I See Something That Is Not There. The exercises with this idea are very similar to the preceding ones. Again, it is necessary to name both the form of upset (anger, fear, worry, depression and so on) and the perceived source very specifically for any application of the idea. For example:I am angry at because I see something that is not there.I am worried about because I see something that is not there.Today's idea is useful for application to anything that seems to upset you, and can profitably be used throughout the day for that purpose. However, the three or four practice periods which are required should be preceded by a minute or so of mind searching, as before, and the application of the idea to each upsetting thought uncovered in the search.Again, if you resist applying the idea to some upsetting thoughts more than to others, remind yourself of the two cautions stated in the previous lesson:There are no small upsets. They are all equally disturbing to my peace of mind. And:I cannot keep this form of upset and let the others go.For the purposes of these exercises, then, I will regard them all as the same.- Jesus Christ in ACIM
In this soul-centered solo episode of A Psychic's Story, Nichole Bigley offers a grounded and expansive exploration of purpose — not as an end destination, job title or life role, but as a lived experience of alignment. Nichole explores the idea that while you carry a unique soul resonance — how that resonance expresses itself unfolds over time, across seasons, decades, and life chapters. Purpose is not something you miss or fall behind on — it is something you live day-by-day through your choices, presence, and relationship with yourself. Throughout the episode, Nichole reflects on free will, divine timing, spiritual awakenings, and the moments when life feels loud or misaligned — not as failures, but as invitations for you to realign with how you want to express and live your life. Tune in to hear Nichole explore: Why purpose isn't just one thing nor a single destination. How purpose ties into the concept of a “North Star.” What it means for you to live in alignment with your soul's unique resonance. How free will and everyday choices shape your life path. Why awakenings don't only happen at rock bottom — but also at the height of success. How roles, responsibilities, and identities can often pull you out of alignment. How you can recognize intuitive guidance when life feels restless or “off.” Nichole also shares details about “Awakening Your Soul's Path,” the January workshop inside The Psychic Club, which follows her channeled Purpose Path™ process, along with a stand-alone virtual version for those outside the membership. If this episode stirred something within you, it's not accidental. Purpose isn't waiting for you somewhere else — it's already unfolding through how you live your life. In this episode of Gateways to Awakening, Yasmeen speaks with transformational guide Sascha Haert to explore the deeper architecture of intimacy, embodiment, and authentic relating. Sascha works with women leaders who have achieved external success but still feel disconnected from themselves. Together, they unpack why relational patterns repeat, how to build partnerships rooted in truth rather than performance, and what it means to live from your deepest intelligence, the intelligence of the body. This conversation illuminates the subtle ways we abandon ourselves, how to reclaim our needs with integrity, and why intimacy always begins with honest self-resonance.“Intimacy only works when you stop performing and start telling the truth — not the dramatic truth, but the embodied one.” — Sascha HaertKey TakeawaysWhy many high-performing individuals struggle with intimacy and self-connectionHow the nervous system shapes our ability to stay open, present, and receptiveThe two pillars that Sascha believes every relationship needs to thriveHow to express truth without collapsing into reactivity or performanceWhy sensuality is a doorway to self-awareness, not just pleasureHow polyamory can act as a healing phase — and where it becomes a bypassPractical tools to speak the unspoken and build authentic connectionsHow to recognize and stop subtle self-abandonment in real timeThe difference between compatibility and resonanceWhat it means to live from “yes” instead of fear, obligation, or patternYou can find Sascha Haert on IG here. LESSON 5I Am Never Upset For The Reason I Think. This idea, like the preceding one, can be used with any person, situation or event you think is causing you pain. Apply it specifically to whatever you believe is the cause of your upset, using the description of the feeling in whatever term seems accurate to you. The upset may seem to be fear, worry, depression, anxiety, anger, hatred, jealousy or any number of forms, all of which will be perceived as different. This is not true. However, until you learn that form does not matter, each form becomes a proper subject for the exercises for the day. Applying the same idea to each of them separately is the first step in ultimately recognizing they are all the same. When using the idea for today for a specific perceived cause of an upset in any form, use both the name of the form in which you see the upset, and the cause which you ascribe to it. For example:I am not angry at _______ for the reason I think.I am not afraid of _______ for the reason I think. But again, this should not be substituted for practice periods in which you first search your mind for “sources” of upset in which you believe, and forms of upset which you think result. In these exercises, more than in the preceding ones, you may find it hard to be indiscriminate, and to avoid giving greater weight to some subjects than to others. It might help to precede the exercises with the statement:There are no small upsets. They are all equally disturbing to my peace of mind. Then examine your mind for whatever is distressing you, regardless of how much or how little you think it is doing so.You may also find yourself less willing to apply today's idea to some perceived sources of upset than to others. If this occurs, think first of this:I cannot keep this form of upset and let the others go.For the purposes of these exercises, then,I will regard them all as the same. Then search your mind for no more than a minute or so, and try to identify a number of different forms of upset that are disturbing you, regardless of the relative importance you may give them. Apply the idea for today to each of them, using the name of both the source of the upset as you perceive it, and of the feeling as you experience it. Further examples are:I am not worried about _______ for the reason I think.I am not depressed about _______ for the reason I think.Three or four times during the day is enough.- Jesus Christ in ACIM
Are you looking for a community of spiritually minded people? Tune in for an inspiring discussion with founder Sylvia Leifheit on the hot new app SPINE The Spiritual Network. LESSON 4These Thoughts Do Not Mean Anything.Unlike the preceding ones, these exercises do not begin with the idea for the day. In these practice periods, begin with noting the thoughts that are crossing your mind for about a minute. Then apply the idea to them. If you are already aware of unhappy thoughts, use them as subjects for the idea. Do not, however, select only the thoughts you think are “bad.” You will find, if you train yourself to look at your thoughts, that they represent such a mixture that, in a sense, none of them can be called “good” or “bad.” This is why they do not mean anything. In selecting the subjects for the application of today's idea, the usual specificity is required. Do not be afraid to use “good” thoughts as well as “bad.” None of them represents your real thoughts, which are being covered up by them. The “good” ones are but shadows of what lies beyond, and shadows make sight difficult. The “bad” ones are blocks to sight, and make seeing impossible. You do not want either. This is a major exercise, and will be repeated from time to time in somewhat different form. The aim here is to train you in the first steps toward the goal of separating the meaningless from the meaningful. It is a first attempt in the long-range purpose of learning to see the meaningless as outside you, and the meaningful within. It is also the beginning of training your mind to recognize what is the same and what is different. In using your thoughts for application of the idea for today, identify each thought by the central figure or event it contains; for example:This thought about _______ does not mean anything. It is like the things I see in this room [on this street, and so on].You can also use the idea for a particular thought that you recognize as harmful. This practice is useful, but is not a substitute for the more random procedures to be followed for the exercises. Do not, however, examine your mind for more than a minute or so. You are too inexperienced as yet to avoid a tendency to become pointlessly preoccupied.Further, since these exercises are the first of their kind, you may find the suspension of judgment in connection with thoughts particularly difficult. Do not repeat these exercises more than three or four times during the day. We will return to them later.- Jesus Christ in ACIM
There is a phase of spiritual awakening where nothing feels wrong, yet nothing feels clear. Your old life no longer fits, guidance feels quieter, and the new hasn't fully landed yet.In this episode, I talk about the overlooked integration phase of awakening and why this disorientation occurs. Understanding what's happening can help you move through this phase with more trust, stability, and patience. This quiet phase is part of how clarity and embodiment return.

THE AWAKENING OF CHINA'S ECONOMY Colleague Anne Stevenson-Yang, Wild Ride. Returning to China in 1994, the author witnessed a transformation from the destitute, Maoist uniformity of 1985 to a budding export economy. In the earlier era, workers slept on desks and lacked basic goods, but Deng Xiaoping's realization that the state needed hard currency prompted reforms. Deng established Special Economic Zones like Shenzhen to generate foreign capital while attempting to isolate the population from foreign influence, marking the start of China's export boom. What if your sexuality wasn't something to fix, perform, or achieve, but a sacred life force that could heal childhood wounds, dissolve unconscious patterns, and open you into deeper love, remembrance of your true nature, and altered states of consciousness? In this intimate, expansive conversation, Nadine is joined by returning guest Rahi Chun to explore how sexual energy and conscious lovemaking can become portals to deep intimacy, liberation, and aliveness.Rahi Chun is a Certified Somatic Sex Educator & Genital De-Armoring Specialist, as well as a globally recognized practitioner, educator, and speaker at the intersection of somatic healing, sexual wellness, trauma integration, and spiritual embodiment. His fascination with attuning to and serving the body's innate wisdom & life force is rooted in lived experience, academic rigor, and cross-cultural initiation.✨ In this episode, we explore:• Why sexuality is not a goal-oriented act, but a vehicle for healing, spiritual union, and self-realization• What extended lovemaking actually is, and how sensitizing ourselves to subtle pleasure changes everything• How sexual energy meets us exactly where we are in our nervous system and consciousness• The hidden link between childhood survival strategies and adult intimacy blocks• Why trying to “get the orgasm” is often the very thing preventing it• How learning to truly receive rewires not just sex, but money, love, creativity, and life• The power of one-way touch, choice, and voice in reclaiming desire and agency• How erotic energy can surface buried childhood wounds and gently metabolize & integrate them• What to do when long-term partners feel like roommates, and how to reawaken desire without pressure• Loving your genitals, slowing down, and relating to intimacy as a laboratory of play, discovery, and curiosity______________

LESSON 3I Do Not Understand Anything I See.Apply this idea in the same way as the previous ones, without making distinctions of any kind. Whatever you see becomes a proper subject for applying the idea.Be sure that you do not question the suitability of anything for application of the idea. These are not exercises in judgment. Anything is suitable if you see it. Some of the things you see may have emotionally-charged meaning for you. Try to lay such feelings aside, and merely use these things exactly as you would anything else. The point of the exercises is to help you clear your mind of all past associations, to see things exactly as they appear to you now, and to realize how little you really understand about them.It is therefore essential that you keep a perfectly open mind, unhampered by judgment, in selecting the things to which the idea for the day is to be applied. For this purpose one thing is like another; equally suitable and therefore equally useful.- Jesus Christ in ACIM
Welcome to 2026, brothers. This episode is a return to the foundations. A reset. A reorientation to what this work has always been about. As we move into a new year, it's easy to get pulled toward advanced concepts, elevated language, and high-level spiritual ideas. But real mastery doesn't begin at the top. It begins at the beginning. And in this episode, we go back to the core principles of cognitive mastery, awakening, and the Alpha State. At the heart of this conversation is a simple but profound framework: the three worlds. The outer world, the inner world, and the energetic world. The outer world is the physical world. It's the world we all share. Bodies, money, relationships, environments, circumstances, results. It is neutral. It is dense. It is obvious. Science understands this world well because it is observable and measurable. The inner world is the mental world. Your thoughts. Your feelings. Your narratives. Your conditioning. This world is private. No one has access to it but you. And yet, this inner world is the cause of how you experience the outer world. Your thoughts generate feelings. Feelings drive actions. Actions create results. And those results reinforce the thoughts. This is the universal truth. This is the Model of Alignment. The energetic world is the most subtle of all. It's your aura. Your spiritual blueprint. The field you move through and leave behind as you interact with people, places, money, opportunity, and life itself. Most men have very little conscious access to this layer, not because it isn't real, but because it is quiet. Subtle. Working behind the scenes. In this episode, I explain how all three of these worlds are happening simultaneously. They are not separate. They are integrated into one unified human experience. And above all three is the Alpha State. The watcher. Consciousness itself. The unified awareness that sees all three worlds clearly without being trapped inside any of them. This is where awakening begins. Not by becoming something new. Not by self-improvement or self-judgment. But by remembering what you've always been. The first step in this process is kindergarten-level simple and lifelong profound: separating thoughts from facts. Over and over again. Until it becomes second nature. Until you can clearly see the difference between the neutral outer world and the stories you're running about it.This is why the Brotherhood exists. It is the entry point. The foundation. The place where men begin the awakening process by mastering the basics: buffering, relationships, money mindset, and the Model of Alignment. This is where you learn to see the program you've been running and consciously choose a new one.In this episode, I also introduce what's coming in 2026, including deeper work inside the Academy and my own Impossible Goal for the year, which I'll be updating throughout the podcast as it unfolds. This episode is an invitation. An invitation to remember who you are.An invitation to step into the Alpha State. An invitation to begin again—properly, deliberately, and consciously.Welcome to 2026, brothers.Elevate your Alpha.
