A common myth in communities of color is that our people are resilient and they do not need therapy or treatment for depression. A person cannot think they're way out of depression anymore than they can think they're way out of heart failure or diabetes. In honor of mental health awareness month, and in order to break down the stigma‘s surrounding mental health in our communities, I want to share my therapy journey with you!
