The Super Bowl is the second biggest drinking/eating fest in America (after Thanksgiving)... Ray Lewis dons the cover of the latest Sports Illustrated, which asks: "Does God care who wins the Super Bowl?" Why would God give a rat's ass about overpaid, over-hyped, criminal thugs performing well, and who wins what sporting event, when innocent children around the world are starving to death, families are being murdered, women are getting raped, and a litany of other heinous acts going on? After a month long hiatus we're baaaaaaaaaaaaack! This week we probe - using logic and liquor - the concept that Jesus had a wife, ancient aliens, the evolution of the evolutionary debate, and we look at why Christian Right Wingers blame the Newtown shootings on gays, abortions and taking prayer out of schools. All this and more on the latest episode of Drinking... Religiously!

If you thought Christmas was a "Christian" holiday... you'd be wrong.  If you think the world will end on Friday the 21st... you're even wronger (yes, we know that's not a word).  With only one week until Christmas Eve and only five days until the "end of the world" we sit down with a big bomber of Salvation from Avery Brewing Company and probe both topics with logic and liquor.

Since this is our first episode we felt it only right that we explain who we are, what we believe in and what we hope to accomplish. Normally we’d jump right into some quick hit topics that occurred during the past week, comment on them wittily and then jump into a main topic. But we want to give you some background on who we are, what we believe in and why we believe what we do. We’re not experts, and we don’t claim to know everything.
