Today we'll be speaking to Suhani Jalota the founder and CEO of Myna Mahila Foundation. Initially a startup in a Mumbai slum, Suhani founded this organisation to tackle period shame in India. She had the idea of creating low cost sanitary pads and employing local women to manufacture and sell them giving them jobs and opportunities. The organisation has now become one of seven to be chosen to receive donations marking Megan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding and has been featured on Forbes, Vogue, Glamour to name the few.
