Magic show! Get an exclusive look at how gullible I am, and a look into the deeper side of Kail.

I react to a magic show on Snapchat before I go grocery shopping, I talk about my green tea flavored Pepsi, and things get deep. Find out why I keep talking about perverts, and how my mom used to scare my sister and I into acting mature in the grocery store as kids (it’s genius). In this episode, I don’t just talk about mental health issues- listeners get a look inside my own, deep, dark, and personal struggles with my anxiety, depression, ADHD and PTSD. This episode was hard for me to record- the second half at least (the first half is the usual Kail in the Kar silly tone) because I was in a dark place while I recorded it. It was a sort of catharsis for me- I immediately felt better after recording. While the end of this episode may seem a bit abrupt- I had to end it because I wasn’t alone any more and I didn’t want to continue my personal story in front of others (ironic since I’m posting this publicly for the world to hear). Anyways, it feels good to open the door to the ‘dark side’- from here on out ‘Mental Health Mondays’ will become more transparent, more real, more f*d up, and hopefully, more helpful to those who struggle with mental illness. Do me a favor and send me your encouragement- like I said this was hard to post and I would love to hear some positive words to encourage me to keep making real podcasts about the hard stuff. And as always, please reach out to me if you would like to guest star on the show- if you struggle with mental health and want to help me #EndtheStigma by doing an interview, coming on to co-host, or telling your own personal mental health struggle story, I would LOVE for you to join me! And anchor is so cool that you can join my show in the comfort of your own home- take THAT social anxiety!!! Oh, yeah, I also talk about the hilarious background music anchor has and the AMAZING names of the music clips! Enjoy. Much Love, peeps. You’re not alone. The struggle is real. Adulting is fun. Not. But I am!

Here are some tips to help you adult to the best of your ability, cuz let’s face it: adulting is hard, and I like to help people, or at least pretend that I am. In this episode I talk about one of my favorite words, “catharsis” and how I am desperate need of one, my scattered ADHD brain and tips on staying productive with adult ADHD, I eat a rice cake that I called a paper cake by accident, I struggle with saying the world “biological”, and throw some sweet psychology factoids at you, like when the best time for you to talk about something memorable in your podcast (or speech, or essay, or 6 text long rant to your ex- whatever floats your boat) is. I also let you in on the secret about the ‘catching up on sleep myth’- you won’t want to miss it, or you might just spend the rest of your life tired. I’m serious! One might call the adulting and productivity tips in this episode “minimalist” advice, but minimalism is super trendy right now anyway so I know what I’m doing, alright? OH and spoiler alert Kail finally came up with a somewhat catchy sign off phrase! Let me know if it’s super lame, hit me on Twitter: thekailandco and insta: thekailandco and join my Facebook group: Kail&Co to let me know how you guys are liking (or not) Kail in the Kar. I’m getting bored of hearing myself talk (never thought I would say that) so I think it’s about time we get an interview on here. If you are doing a semi ok job at adulting, and want to share your less lame than me tips, send me a DM or PM or whatever the kids are calling it now a days, and let’s set something up. Help me get famous. Plz. TTFN! Enjoy and drive slow, homies. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Unfortunately I do not have free chipotle for you all to eat while listening- but I do talk about chipotle, ways to curb social anxiety at restaurants and new places in general, how to be better at making decisions (about food specifically), we talk about college and mental health, resources, what I can do to help you, and I give you the inside scoop on the Psychology classes I have taken and am currently taking! (Sounds so exciting I know- but give it a listen- maybe you really want to know more about one of the topics in a class ive taken. We can make that happen!). As always, I hope you guys are kind to yourselves, each other, and please reach out to me with any requests for the next mental health monday at kaileysam@kailco.com and follow me on the socials, anddd check out my blogs on my website Kail&Co at Kail&Co.com! All about Kail in the Kar- what’s to come, what I’m loving, and the start of interacting with YOU!

This episode is all about Kail in the Kar- what started as an attempt to neatly and orderly break down my newly thought out plan for this podcast ended the way Kail (with ADHD) in the Kar will probably end up a lot of the time- completely crazy, somewhat comical, lots of interesting (in my eyes) info, some serious moments (when I tell you guys about Mental Health Monday- don’t worry I use comedy as a way of coping with my depression- but for real, with your help this podcast will be an important part of the #EndtheStigma movement), creativity talk, and lots of random ramblings. This episode is sort of an important one for new listeners- although it’s best listened to as the third episode, because by then you most likely have learned to love me and my show and won’t mind the somewhat boring, somewhat hysterical rambling that makes me, well ME! It’s an important episode because it’s not just ALL random rambles- I do actually begin to breakdown what my Monday, Thursday, and quite possibly Friday episodes will look (ok fine- SOUND) like. We will have a Creative Corner, a throwback Thursday segment, talk about Monday’s and lasagna, what makes a sociopath, and....WAIT- what am I doing! I’m going to give it all away! Listen to find out what else shall ensue this season of Kail in the Kar. And as always, I encourage (okay maybe beg- yes I’m begging) you all to interact with the show & I! I want to hear your thoughts, feedback, ideas, and start setting up some pretty rad people to come on the show. Hit me up on insta- thekailandco or my blog- kailco.com orrr send me an email- thekailandco@outlook.com or kaileysam@kailco.com for all inquiries. Please make sure to make the subject line KAIL IN THE KAR and let me know the best way to contact you, when to contact you, and why you would like to be on the show (for a special segment, as a co-host, to help me organize my crazy ADHD show, to tell people about your creative endeavors, showcase your efforts to #EndTheStigma or just to be funny with me and do some random rambling. KRAZINESS IN THE KAR! listen for crazy as* wind, crazy as* CVS lines, crazy as* KAIL!

Okay, this episode is a bit more structured than my first. Again, it’s totally unscripted. This episode is sort of special, because you get to experience Kail OUT of the car as well as IN the car per usual. You guys will get to hear the dopest remix of one of my very favorite songs of all time, and my current favorite song at the moment (DANCE FOR ME DANCE FOR ME OOO....hint!) which features the one and only Notorious BIG. You also get to experience the windiest night of 2020 so far, in the Boston area at least. Check it out- it was SO loud I actually got it to sound like it’s right next to you- which created a super cool, super interactive feel for all my AWESOME listeners (yes, that’s YOU!). Also, get ready to hear about my crazy CVS experience today- and why people were ditching their prescriptions for booze. I also give you guys a run down of one of my current favorite iPhone apps, and all of the dope reasons why I love it so much, and think you might love it as well. All of that, plus some Kail in the Kar rambles, and my call to action for any creative, wildly passionate peeps to join me and be featured in one of my next upcoming episodes. I thank you all SO MUCH for tuning it to episode two of Kail in the Kar and bearing with me after my trail Episode one. I just finally gave it a full listen- and seriously guys- while I do think it was pretty funny and I stand by my point in that honesty and transparency is SO important to me, and my brand Kail&Co, please take it as a learning opportunity. I really wanted you guys to get a feel for what it’s like being nervous about doing a podcast for the first time, while also hopefully helping you realize the importance of being patient (unlike I am) & working out a great first episode/first impression before posting. Either way, I am SUPER proud of my first episode, but I’m a little bit more satisfied with this one. The biggest thing I have taken from this learning experience is the FUN I am having doing it. I highly suggest trying it yourself, and using Anchor as your platform when you decide to give it a go (you’ll hear more reasons why I suggest Anchor in this episode). Like always, I encourage feedback- the good, the bad, and the BEAUTIFUL! Because life is beautiful, no matter how many times you mess up, or wish things were a little different in your life. We might as well have fun while living the life we were given, right?! Love you guys so much, and as always THANK YOU for joining Kail in the Kar (and outside of the car tonight). Can’t wait to hear your thoughts, and can’t wait to record episode 3!!!! Kail is now OUT of the Kar- goodnight!! -Kail XOX --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Who the heck is Kail in the Kar? iPhone apps I love, world war 3? still figuring out my sign off...

In this very first episode of Kail in the Kar, Kail is in the car and then she gets out of the car!!!! *gasps* We talk about who the heck I am, what the heck Kail&Co is, some pretty sweet iPhone apps including the app Over for graphic designers, or people who wish they were (like me), Medium which is a super sweet app that includes articles for all types of people, I let you in on my mental health secret (well, one of many) and we talk world war 3 memes: are they funny or offensive? Oh, and since this is the first episode, I probably should edit out some crap and tidy it up and stuff like that, but I’m letting you guys see it allll like it or not! I think it’s important to be true to do what you do, and true to who you are, and I also think it’s a pretty funny podcast idea: listening to someone, who, is in the car, and trying to figure out this whole podcast thing because really she just wants to talk, and pretend she’s famous and people are listening. Enjoy! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
