What happens after amen? Prayer is an important part of every Christian's life. Understanding prayer will help make it more effective when you pray. We must pray with persistence, passion, and purpose. We have power and authority through the name of Jesus and we have the ability to access the prophetic when we declare amen!
Recorded on 17 February, 2019 2 Samuel 21:15-22 Goliath wasn't the only giant David ever faced. David faced many giants, some that nearly killed him if he didn't have the help of his friends and family. No matter what giant you may face, God will give you the power to overcome it.
1 Chronicles 14 David was a great King. He wasn't perfect but he accomplished many things and his kingdom was lifted up on high. From the lineage of David's throne came Jesus, the King of Kings. It was told that Jesus would sit and rule from the throne of David. The comparison between David's throne and the throne of Jesus is beautiful. David unified a kingdom, Jesus came to establish His global and unified kingdom. David's kingdom was lifted on high, Jesus is high and lifted up as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Malachi 3:1 (KJV) Isaiah 40:3-5 (KJV) John the baptist, like Jesus, was a child of promise. He was the forerunner for Jesus Christ's ministry on Earth. John's calling wasn't only for introducing the world to Jesus in his time, but instead, is a model of the church that would later be established. The church is the voice in the wilderness preparing hearts and lives to be impacted by the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 5:22-23 KJV John 15:8 GNB The fruit of the spirit is a sweet and important part of every Christian's life. The fruit of the spirit is the result or product of the Holy Spirit living inside of you. The fruit is there to nourish others. The fruit of the spirit is a singularity made up of nine virtues that is for everyone.
We all have things we treasure but Jesus is the only everlasting treasure. The kingdom of heaven is the way of life for us New Testament Christians. It is the cross of Jesus, His death, burial, and resurrection. It’s the revelation of who Jesus is. Matthew 6:19-21 New Living Translation (NLT) (19) “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.(20) Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.(21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The Heart of Worship Deuteronomy 30:6, 16-20 We worship in the beauty of holiness. There were two layers to the tabernacle, the outer court and the inner court. We leave the world in the outer court so there is no corruption in the inner court when we worship. The beauty of holiness is separation. In the inner court, the only light was from the golden candlestick. It was a completely separate from the outer court, a holy place. We keep a repentant heart to worship.
Praise in the Tabernacle 1 Samuel 16:13 David, one of the greatest kings of Israel, was a praiser. He became undignified in the presence of God. David prepared a tabernacle for the Ark of God and this was a preview of what was to come when Jesus came on the scene. When Jesus came on the scene and gave His life and rose again, the veil in the temple was torn and the presence of God was once again available for all just as in David's tabernacle.
A Heart of Praise Psalm 9:1 Praise is the pulse of the haert. We praise with our WHOLE heart. Job never lost his praise when he was faced with adversity. David never lost his praise when everyone was against him. Praise invites Jesus to where you are. No matter what situation you are in, praise Jesus.
What goes in WILL come out. Mark 7:14-15 and 18-23 What is hid in your heart will be show by your actions or your words. We must keep the fruits of the spirit and kill the weeds of the spirit.
Proverbs 3:1-4 Matters of the heart affect our every day lives. The heart is not only a vital organ in the human body, but it is also the seat of our emotions, our human will, intellect, and moral consciouness. We must keep our heart with all diligence because the source of life flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23) Keep your heart clean, keep your heart healthy, and keep your heart pure.
