    Welcome to day 2 of Mindful MVMNTThe intention for today’s meditation is the deepen our understanding and develop a practice of surrender.Let’s image for a moment going to sleep at night. We can do our best to set ourselves up for a good night sleep but once we lie down for the night, we really cannot force ourselves asleep. In fact, the harder your try the less likely you are to fall asleep. It's only when we surrender and give ourselves permission to dissolve into rest that we enter into our sleeping state. The practice of surrender is paramount during meditation, mobility and in our day to day life. Surrendering the chaos of our minds to become the observer, surrendering our expectations to where we “should be” with our mobility or flexibility allows us the gift of accepting where we are in that moment. Being present with ourselves is a gift and we can only fully receive that through the practice of surrender.     Welcome to day 1 of Mindful MVMNT The intention for today’s meditation is to introduce you to a mindfulness practice of breath awareness. Using the breath to move us out of the busyness of our minds and gain awareness of the body will have a profound impact on our day to day life.This practice will provide a nature reprogramming of the nervous system. This practice serves to help remove us from the chaos of our minds by grounding us into the body where we become the observer of our thoughts and feelings instead of swimming in them.This will help create a new relationship to our thoughts and feelings by providing a new perspective of them. This also takes us out of a reactionary/ fight or flight state and gives us the allowance to activate our parasympathetic nervous system – which dictates our ability to rest, recover and relax.
