“I May Disapprove of What You Say, But I Will Defend to the Death Your Right to Say It!” More people than ever before are being directly impacted by the latest current events. The chit chat crew has been silent about the capitol protests up until now, so we want to tackle a few things in our next few videos from BOTH sides of the spectrum (the supporters and the opposition). Dialogue matters. People matter. Our voices matter. Why did the capitol protests happen? Are the protestors patriots or domestic terrorists? Please watch our videos to hopefully gain some understanding and open the door to having discussions of your own. Do all of us personally support Trump? No. Do some of us? Yes. Regardless of how YOU feel about the protests, this isn't something that's going away. Welcome to day 4 of Mindful MVMNT The intention for today’s meditation is to bring conscious awareness into our daily livesI’ve learned there is Great value there in becoming awake to the various ways we are being asked to learn and that our greatest teachers come to us often disguised behind the places we fear to look the most And that consciously looking at what ails us leads us to our ultimate freedom The less awake we live the more suffering we remain steeped in This lends a new outlook to some of life’s hard landscape Perspective is really everything and by choosing to consciously aware we can begin to live a more empowered life, where we become more round, more full, more luminous, where joy becomes our natural state of being rather than something we occasionally stumble upon This Meditation is part of our November Mindful MVMNT Challenge, if you haven't signed up for it already make sure to register below: http://challenge.mobilitymvmnt.com/mindful-mvmnt Challenge begins Monday Nov 25th!!-What the challenge will include:Mobility Protocols to help improve your squat position and your shoulders/overhead position.Meditations each day to help enhance your mindset and to improve recovery and relaxation.-We Challenge you to complete ALL 4 days of the Mindful MVMNT, post your progress and win prizes!!-Each day you will be emailed links to the mobility protocols and meditations so make sure you get registered to receive the emails!!Here's How You WIN:· Participate with us EVERYDAY throughout the week (Nov. 25-28)· FOLLOW @mobility_mvmnt and @crystalmderry on Instagram· POST to your Instagram feed everyday of the challenge with the hashtag #MindfulMVMNT #MobilityMVMNT #MaybeitsMVMNT· TAG us @mobility_mvmnt and @crystalmderry on Instagram in the captions (and on the photo if you post a photo)· This post can be ANYTHING that comes up for you through this challenge. Welcome to day 1 of Mindful MVMNT The intention for today’s meditation is to introduce you to a mindfulness practice of breath awareness. Using the breath to move us out of the busyness of our minds and gain awareness of the body will have a profound impact on our day to day life. This practice will provide a nature reprogramming of the nervous system. This practice serves to help remove us from the chaos of our minds by grounding us into the body where we become the observer of our thoughts and feelings instead of swimming in them. This will help create a new relationship to our thoughts and feelings by providing a new perspective of them. This also takes us out of a reactionary/ fight or flight state and gives us the allowance to activate our parasympathetic nervous system – which dictates our ability to rest, recover and relax. This Meditation is part of our November Mindful MVMNT Challenge, if you haven't signed up for it already make sure to register below: http://challenge.mobilitymvmnt.com/mindful-mvmnt Challenge begins Monday Nov 25th!! - What the challenge will include: Mobility Protocols to help improve your squat position and your shoulders/overhead position. Welcome to day 2 of Mindful MVMNTThe intention for today’s meditation is the deepen our understanding and develop a practice of surrender.Let’s image for a moment going to sleep at night. We can do our best to set ourselves up for a good night sleep but once we lie down for the night, we really cannot force ourselves asleep. In fact, the harder your try the less likely you are to fall asleep. It's only when we surrender and give ourselves permission to dissolve into rest that we enter into our sleeping state. The practice of surrender is paramount during meditation, mobility and in our day to day life. Surrendering the chaos of our minds to become the observer, surrendering our expectations to where we “should be” with our mobility or flexibility allows us the gift of accepting where we are in that moment. Being present with ourselves is a gift and we can only fully receive that through the practice of surrender. This Meditation is part of our November Mindful MVMNT Challenge, if you haven't signed up for it already make sure to register below: http://challenge.mobilitymvmnt.com/mindful-mvmnt Challenge begins Monday Nov 25th!!-What the challenge will include:Mobility Protocols to help improve your squat position and your shoulders/overhead position.Meditations each day to help enhance your mindset and to improve recovery and relaxation.-We Challenge you to complete ALL 4 days of the Mindful MVMNT, post your progress and win prizes!!-Each day you will be emailed links to the mobility protocols and meditations so make sure you get registered to receive the emails!!Here's How You WIN:· Participate with us EVERYDAY throughout the week (Nov. Catalyst Sale Podcast - Finding Your Next Sales Job How does your sales process and approach apply to looking for your next career opportunity? Is sales the right place for you? Is an account executive or an account manager role a better fit, what about indirect sales? How do you determine fit? Mike & Mike talk about identifying your next career move, and how to prepare to take advantage of an opportunity when it presents itself. Catalyst Sale Podcast - How to Get Over a Bad Year Sometimes, many times in higher risk sales, the year does not end as your originally envisioned. High risk from a sales perspective, can mean emerging technologies, early adopter targets, or simply breaking ground in a new territory. A bad year can be the result of poor planning, poor execution, or simply having the time run out on you. When you have a bad year it is important to compartmentalize and move on. Evaluate what you learned, apply the lessons, get back to the foundational skills and process that have led to past success. Mike & Mike discuss key ideas and concepts around moving forward after a bad year, and not letting a bad year beat you twice. Catalyst Sale Sales is a Thinking Process. If sales is a thinking process, where does artificial intelligence fit in the sale process? Artificial intelligence can be used as a replacement for thinking. Or, artificial intelligence can be a tool to help a thinking sales professional enhance the sales process. Mike & Mike discuss how they have seen artificial intelligence impact sales, in ways that take away from the sales process and ways it enhances how a sales professional works with a customer. Understanding the why will get you to the what. The questions you ask shape the success or failure of the opportunities you are pursuing. It is easy to present the information we know about the product or service you are selling. When you do this you fall into the feature functionality trap. Mike & Mike get into their approach to asking questions, the intention behind those questions and how this approach can help you learn more about your customer, and deliver more value. The trust you build with your customers accelerates when you start with them, and focus on learning about their business vs pitching yours. Sales is a Thinking Process.
