Yosemite is beautiful. Most of the park lies in a valley between two towering mountains. Most of the camping, popular hiking, and restaurants are here. You can find giant sequoias here too! To truly enjoy this park you need to see a little bit of everything. One hike in the valley, one on the north side of the park, and one on the south side of the park.

Crater Lake - The Deepest Lake In America

It's the deepest lake in America! Which is shocking cause it's only five miles wide. You need to swim in this water to truly appreciate it. Bring some goggles and get ready to look into deep, dark, blue void.

Glacier is one of the hardest parks to navigate these days due to it's popularity. I winged the trip and still had a great time. I swam in Lake McDonald, hiked highline trail, and swam in Grinnell Glacier. All you need to do is get up and into the park before 6 am each day.

The Tetons should be at the top of everyones National Park list. The only downside is how busy it can get. So don't be like me and just show up. Make a reservation a couple weeks in advance to truly have the best time at this park.

They call it the Badlands for a reason. The landscape is rough haha. Fun to explore and climb the painted canyons, but not many long adventurous hikes here. Take it for what it is and enjoy your time here!

    Theodore Roosevelt National Park

This park has historical significance. It's where are president went to clear his head. After spending quite some time here and trying to succeed in the cattle business he decided to head back to New York and eventually became president. He credits his time here with his motivation for being such a conservationist. This park is full of wide open land and wildlife! It also has a cute town attached to it. It may not have those towering mountains we're used to with National Parks, but its full of wildlife and undisturbed nature.

Into The Wild - Voyageurs National Park

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 18, 2021 8:10

If you truly want to feel isolated and alone with nature, this is the park for you! There are no campgrounds, only campsites spaced out a couple miles from each other. I had an entire lake to myself and truly felt alone. I chose to canoe to the island which ended up being a lot harder than I thought it would be haha. Have you guys been before? Isle Royale is a very remote National Park at the edge of Lake Superior. Getting there can be a hassle due to it being in the middle of the biggest lake haha. You will have a great time here taking in the views of the lake and seeing some wildlife. Be prepared for the unprepared, cause the weather is very unpredictable and can rain whenever. Listen to this, enjoy it, and ask me any questions about the park if you have them!
