A podcast series recorded by a disciple. I am a practicing Nichiren Buddhist and a member of SGI. Dr Daisaku Ikeda is my Buddhist /life mentor. The best of me I owe to my beloved mentor. I chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. This podcast series is a humble attempt to share my journey in faith using Ikeda sensei’s guidance and gosho passages. I will try to keep it short (max 4 min). Sometimes I will also record a conversation (with their permission) with my Buddhist friends and share it as a podcast. If you have time please listen and share.
Reciting the poems of the greatest Indian poet and Nobel laureate, Tagore, to praise the universe and the mystic universal life force that exists in all of us. A total of 103 poems. I will upload 3-4 everyday. Enjoy.
Today, while chanting I got reminded of Ikeda sensei's lecture on the gosho “The opening of the eyes” that I read last year. I went back to my notes and decided to turn the notes into a podcast. Please listen and share. Thank you so much.
Essay 1 from the book called “Stand up for hope and respect” by Daisaku Ikeda. Pages 1-2. Today, as an experiment, I'm reading the full essay however for my subsequent podcasts, I will use some excerpts from sensei's essays or gosho passages and then share my thoughts.
