The controversial document released by the Vatican Synod on the Family yesterday has caused quite a bit of confusion and frustration from serious Catholics. The problem is that the document (which has no doctrinal authority whatsoever), seems to want to soften the traditional language regarding various sins, notably the sin of homosexuality. But should the language on homosexuality be softened? Is it a good thing to tone down and even offer backhanded praise for orientations pointing away from God’s law and towards self destruction? Is mixed martial arts competition sinful? The recently released movie “Fight Church” discusses the morality of MMA in regards to Christianity. Now I appear in this film, however I am not happy with how my parts were edited.
