This week on Studio Red Live, Vanda Di Michele sits down with Martense. A free jazz group from Beamsville, Ontario. Free jazz is a big genre that Sebastian and Joe break down, and explain what they have adopted within their band. Vanda, Sebastian, and Joe talk about jazz and what that means to their group! Martense shines a light on stereotypes that often lie in the music industry and the new, convoluted wave of new music that is "experimental". Even though they’ve only been known as City Limits for a month and a half, Music Industry Arts bandmates Richard and Josh have been playing together for over 10 years. From alt-pop to hardcore, the duo draws from a wide range of musical influences, and their close friendship allows City Limits to tackle emotionally intimate topics. Music has the ability to bring everyone together and in this case five very talent young artists. Allodays is a band made up of Fanshawe’s Music Industry Arts students who have put all their energy and creative abilities to making great music that can be enjoyed by everyone.
