I believe this section of scripture is the most misinterpreted and misunderstood in the entire Bible. Over the next few episodes I will attempt to explain why.

In this episode I talk about some of the subtle nuances from these two chapters. Why are Cain and Abel offering sacrifices to Yahweh prior to the Mosaic mandate for them? Does Cain"s fear of other people harming him imply there where more people on the earth at this time? Why are the patriarchs lifespans so long in chapter 5?

In this second topical episode I discuss what is known as the Documentary Hypothesis which makes the propositon that Moses was not the author of the first five books of the Bible. The suggestion is that the pentateuch was created by arranging a collection of multiple sources known as J,E,D and P.

Does Science contradict the Bible? Does the Bible contradict Science? I believe the debate from both extremes is hinged on a false premise, so I talk about it. Enjoy!

God is supreme over all of the other supposed 'gods". Is this a second creation story or simply an explanation of what became of creation. How many ways does Moses make use of the word "Day"?
