    In this weeks episode we have the unique opportunity to speak with Buzz Burrell who created https://fastestknowntime.com/ (Fastest Know Time) (FTK) with his business and adventure partner Peter Bakwin. Buzz is the 1999 Colorado Trail record holder completing it in 11 days, 16 hours and 13 minutes. In 2000, Buzz and Peter set the record on the John Muir Trail (222 miles) in 4 days, 14 hours and 39 minutes. Buzz also hosts a popular https://fastestknowntime.com/podcast (Podcast) on the FKT site.     In this weeks episode we have the unique opportunity to speak with Dale Garland, RD of the famous Hardrock 100. He was 1 of a 4 person team to set the first speed record almost immediately after Colorado trail was completed in 1988. They arrived in Denver 17 days later for the official opening ceremony. Scott Jaime, 2013 CT FKT, 10x Hardrock Finisher, and the current 140mile Kokopelli FKT record holder also joins to share what motivated him then and what continues to get him back out on the Colorado trail year after year. And of course, we have updates and will recognize a few runners and their experience thus far in the challenge!

You are all putting in your miles and putting one foot in front of the other towards your goal.This episode you will get some great history of the Colorado Trail Endurance run where Bryan Williams grabbed the record of 8 days and 30 minutes.This didn't just happen...there was a lot of research, planning, running, binders of notes, calculations, strategies over several years. Actually the guests in this episode, Eric Truhe and Marvin Truhe were the brains and power behind all of this. With the help of Bryan Boots also a guest this episode they really put it all together.Bryan was invited later to run the 500 miles with Eric.
