We are BACK for Season 2 of Tutti: A Podcast for New Music Educators! In the past 2 months, we have both started virtual learning, presented at a State Education Conference, Catie has started her marching band season, and we have had MANY late-night "What do I do?" phone calls. Now that we have a moment to breathe, we are here to dissect all of these feelings with you and talk about how we are handling teaching during a pandemic. What does it mean to be an ally as a music educator? This episode features an Interview with Dr. Brandon Williams. Dr. Williams is an assistant professor of choral music and music education at Rutgers University. He teaches multiple courses related to choral music education and conducts the Rutgers Voorhees Choir. Dr. Williams is also a guest conductor, clinician, and presenter all around the United States. With him, we discuss effective allyship and resources that are necessary for music educators.
