In this episode I sit down with Katerina Karali, a Freestyler from Greece. We talk about how much of a passion freestyle is to her and how she is helping spread the sport throughout Greece. As one of the female pioneers in the sport she is starting to work with other young women in Greece. She is using her experience in freestyle to navigate her future, taking from the lessons of all of her hard work and applying that to life. - Freestyle is one of the most humbling sports I have experienced. There is no other sport that teaches you about failure and success more than freestyle. I am really excited to speak with Jen Short, the Manager and Coach of the U.S. Futsal Women’s National Team . We talk about how she got started in the sport and her adventures over the past six years developing the National Team. - I would also like to thank Roxy Kamal, with all of her efforts in things. Roxy is a also one of the Coaches on the U.S. Futsal Women’s National Team. Together, they are creating an amazing platform for women to represent their country and continue to play at a high level. - I enjoyed getting Jen's perspective on futsal, soccer, and youth sports in general in the U.S. She has great insight about where things are and how we may have lost sight of what we are trying to do.

I had an opportunity to sit down and speak with Jaime Hasama, a standout soccer player. Jaime started playing in the club systems in California, made her way to the Midwest to play at Macalester College and had the opportunity to travel to Thailand and play for the Women's National Team. - Jaime and I talk through her experiences, being recruited to play in college and things young athletes need to think about as they navigate the waters of recruiting.

In this episode I speak with Brina Micheels (@skillchallenges on Instagram - make sure to follow her) an aspiring footballer. I found Brina on Instagram and was really impressed with her account. It looked like she truly puts in the time and effort. She does a ton of trainings on her own and this was inspiring for me to see. We talk about her playing experiences, her committing to college and the process it took for her to get there. We also discuss her future at wanting to play pro. At the end of the day it boils down to hard work and effort. Brina has found something that she absolutely loves to do and is now, putting in the extra work to get there.
