I dare Leftists to hit PAUSE for just a beat and look at Trump's character as compared to themselves. Take the BEST of them, and compare to Trump.Right now, the character issue is that Trump's family continues making money. That his kids are on the boards of companies. Shocker: the children of a self-made billionaire, none of whom are crackheads cutting illegal deals with the Chinese, are on Boards. And they have thriving businesses, which all of them had PRIOR to Trump being in office. Compare these kids to Hunter Biden. Or any other kids of presidents.Trump OWNS the Democrats in character. Do you want a list of Leftist rogues? Because you should grab lunch, and sit back if you want me to read you that list.Gavin Newsom sits on top, presently. And with good reason. And what of his aunt, Nancy Pelosi? What of Ilhan Omar and the MN gang of thieves?Name me your Democrat-controlled state of city and I will give you a list of rogues, and all the names will be Democrats in leadership.Simply put: conservatism equals character. Trump has more character in his pinky fingernail than all of the Democrats combined.Remember what they decided to judge his character on. The statement that some women are so enthralled with rich, powerful men, they will allow those men to “grab ‘em by the hoohah”. I know! The NERVE of Trump speaking the truth about how some women behave. There is not a man on Earth who hasn't said or thought the same. Nor is there a woman on Earth who hasn't thought or ALLOWED it.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Jesus has risen, the disciples have him back, and the first thing he tells them is to wait, which may be the hardest command in the book. Then he is taken up, and two angels gently ask why they are still staring at the sky. Most of the Christian life is lived in that in-between space, after the promise and before the fulfillment. This first episode sets the table for everything that follows and speaks to anyone weary of waiting on God. The Rev. John David Duke, Jr., pastor of Salem Lutheran Church in Buffalo, NY, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Acts 1:1-26. To learn more about Salem Lutheran, visit salembuffalo.com. The book of Acts picks up where the Gospels leave off. Jesus has risen. He has ascended. And now what? Acts answers that question. Luke tells the story of how the Holy Spirit built the Church from a handful of frightened disciples in Jerusalem into a movement that reached Rome itself. Along the way, you get Pentecost, the first sermons, the first martyrs, the conversion of Paul, the first church councils, shipwrecks, riots, and the persistent, stubborn work of God through Word and Sacrament even when His people didn't have a plan. If you've ever wondered how we got from Easter morning to the Church you sit in today, this is the book. Tune in for this new series on Thy Strong Word with Pastor Phil Booe and guest pastors as we open up the Book of Acts. Thy Strong Word, hosted by Rev. Dr. Phil Booe, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Luverne, MN, reveals the light of our salvation in Christ through study of God's Word, breaking our darkness with His redeeming light. Each weekday, two pastors fix our eyes on Jesus by considering Holy Scripture, verse by verse, in order to be strengthened in the Word and be equipped to faithfully serve in our daily vocations. Although born and adopted in London in 1967, Anne-Grete is a Norwegian adoptee. Her birth mother happened to be there when she gave birth, and her adoptive dad was stationed at the Norwegian Embassy at the time. She had two siblings, both adopted from different cities in Norway. After moving around the world with her family, she came back to Norway for good when she was 16. After finishing her studies and moving between jobs and homes several times, she finally settled in Mandal with her husband and their cat. Anne-Grete was a "happy adoptee" until she reached her fifties, and had always associated her lack of roots and connection with her nomadic life in the foreign service. After being reunited with her birth mother for nine years in her twenties and early thirties, the reunion ended. It took 24 years and a better understanding of the consequences of adoption for her to try to reconnect with her. At the same time, she finally felt the need to find the other half and has connected with siblings on her birth father's side. She is still a secret in her biological family, but hopes that will change over time. Finding the organization Adopterte played a large part in her coming out of the fog, and after being a member for two years, she was elected to the board. Adopterte is a non-profit organization working to raise awareness about the repercussions of adoption and spread information about the history and practice of adoption in Norway. They arrange meetups two to three times a year and also have a closed Facebook group where members can share their experiences and find adoptees in their area. Most people skip Romans 16 because it looks like a list of names they cannot pronounce. But every name here is a person who carried the Gospel to Rome before Paul ever arrived. Phoebe delivered this letter. Prisca and Aquila risked their necks for Paul's life. Andronicus and Junia were in prison with him. These are real Christians with real stories, and Paul knows them by name even though he has never visited their church. Romans ends the way the faith has always spread: through people who showed up for each other because Christ showed up for them. The Rev. John Shank, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville, IL, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Romans 16:1–27. To learn more about Trinity in Edwardsville, visit trinitylutheranministries.org. Why does doing the right thing sometimes feel impossible? Why do feelings of guilt follow us even when we've been forgiven? These aren't new questions. St. Paul wrote his letter to the Romans for a church he had never visited, and yet he addressed the struggles every Christian knows firsthand: the weight of the law, the persistence of sin, the sufficiency of what God has done in Christ. Romans covers enormous ground. Paul moves from the universal problem of sin through justification by faith, the role of baptism, the war between flesh and spirit, God's faithfulness to Israel, and the shape of life together in the body of Christ. There's a reason the Reformation was born in this letter. Join us on Thy Strong Word as we open up Romans, weekdays at 11am or on-demand anytime, at KFUO.org. Thy Strong Word, hosted by Rev. You know him as a host of KFUO's Thy Strong Word. But did you know he was a private investigator before becoming a pastor? The Rev. Dr. Phil Booe (pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Luverne, MN, and host of Thy Strong Word on KFUO Radio) and his wife Becky Booe join Andy and Sarah to talk about their journeys into the Lutheran Church, what life was like for them prior to seminary, the discerning process leading to seminary life, their transitions through seminary and into pastoral ministry, and the wisdom they've gained from their experiences that they share with others considering their vocations. As you grab your morning coffee (and pastry, let's be honest), join hosts Andy Bates and Sarah Gulseth as they bring you stories of the intersection of Lutheran life and a secular world. Catch real-life stories of mercy work of the LCMS and partners, updates from missionaries across the ocean, and practical talk about how to live boldly Lutheran. Strong Christians know their freedom in Christ. Weak Christians are careful not to violate their consciences. The tension between them is real, but Paul insists that neither group belongs to itself. Both belong to the Lord who died and rose again for them. Rather than judging or despising one another, Christians are called to bear with each other in love, just as Christ bore with them. As Paul brings this section of Romans to a close, he reveals how the Gospel creates unity among Jews and Gentiles alike and gives a glimpse into his own mission to carry Christ's name where He has not yet been preached. Rev. Jim Daub, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Havelock, NC, joins guest host DCE Andy Bates to study Romans 15. To learn more about St. Paul Lutheran, visit stpaulhavelock.com. Brad discusses what he learned about high oleic soybeans at the Four State Dairy Management and Nutrition Conference in La Crosse, Wisconsin. High oleic soybeans are gaining attention in dairy nutrition because they can provide both rumen undegradable protein and a more rumen-friendly fat source, potentially reducing the need for purchased protein and fat supplements. The episode covers how high oleic beans differ from conventional soybeans, why roasting quality matters, and how measures like protein dispersibility index help determine whether beans are under- or over-processed. Brad also reviews feeding rates, farm case studies showing milk fat and energy-corrected milk responses, possible cost savings, and the pros and cons of adopting high oleic beans on dairy farms.Overall, high oleic soybeans are not a silver bullet, but they may offer dairy producers another tool for improving ration economics, milk components, and on-farm feed production when managed carefully.Questions, comments, scathing rebuttals? -> themoosroom@umn.edu or call 612-624-3610 and leave us a message!Linkedin -> The Moos RoomTwitter -> @UMNmoosroom and @UMNFarmSafetyFacebook -> @UMNDairyYouTube -> UMN Beef and Dairy and UMN Farm Safety and HealthInstagram -> @UMNWCROCDairyExtension WebsiteAgriAmerica Podcast Directory

The Psalms, as summarized by the closing song in each of the first 4 book divisions in the Psalter, present Messiah Prayers in two senses. First: they serve as prayers of petition for the Messiah to come. Secondly, they function as prayers of intercession for the Messiah to pray on behalf of His people. The great high priestly prayer of Jesus in John 17 corresponds to the prayer requests of the Psalter echoing the prophetic cries of longing with the proclamation of fulfillment that He secures in His redemptive ministry. Finally, history's greatest hymnal closes with a cosmic call to worship as the only fitting response to the mercy and majesty of God commemorated from song one to one hundred and fifty in the Psalms.

At the end of the Olivet Discourse, Jesus warned His disciples about the universal judgment of mankind that would follow the Son of Man's return at the end of the age. In Part 1, we focused on the reality of that coming judgment. Here in Part two, we looked at the evidence that will be used to make that judgment. We see that Jesus taught that the way we show that we love Him is by loving and serving one another within the body of Christ, the church. The swing state of Minnesota, which has been Blue for the pass 16 years, is likely to flip Red in November. A vast majority of Minnesotans are tired of the Democratic control that has brought the state down in recent years, mainly due to the fraud they have allowed to happen. The Democratic party has lost momentum with swing voters because of how radical they have become. Romans 14 focuses on Christian liberty, love, and unity within the church, and faith, love, and conscience shape our actions and relationships as believers. Christ's death and resurrection establish His Lordship over all, and love and conscience should guide our actions toward others. While we avoid passing judgment and causing others to stumble, our actions should reflect faith and gratitude to God. Our faith is personal but should be expressed in love. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Unity in Christ requires patience and understanding, and avoiding unnecessary disputes preserves church unity. The Rev. Robert Smith, pastor emeritus in Ft. Wayne, IN, joins guest host the Rev. Sean Daenzer to study Romans 14:1-23. Why does doing the right thing sometimes feel impossible? "Until immunomodulators, patients [with myeloma] did not have a great overall survival rate. But when we introduced lenalidomide, we started seeing our patients have life expectancies between five and seven years—which was unheard of prior to these immunomodulators going forward. I think it's promising and allows patients to have quality of life versus therapy of life," ONS member Daniel Verina, DNP, RN, ACNP-BC, nurse practitioner for the multiple myeloma program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY, told Lenise Taylor, MN, RN, AOCNS®, BMTCN®, oncology clinical specialist at ONS, during a conversation about immunomodulators. Highlights From This Episode "We definitely want the diagnosis of multiple myeloma before initiating these drugs. We're going to look at serum protein electrophoresis. We want to make sure that we know the patient has serum free light chains and myeloma proteins to really confirm their disease. Plus, a bone marrow biopsy." TS 7:21 "Each immunomodulator has slightly different side effects. Thalidomide's biggest side effects are constipation, weakness, fatigue, somnolence, peripheral neuropathy, mood swings, hand tremors, and depression. With each generation, less of the side effects actually occurred. Most of lenalidomide's side effects, not discounting the deep vein thrombosis, are pancytopenia—the neutropenia, the anemia, and the thrombocytopenia. [The side effects] are very similar in pomalidomide." TS 15:40 "The REMS program is critical for oral immunomodulator therapies—thalidomide, pomalidomide, and lenalidomide. It was developed due to the risk of developing embryofetal toxicities. ... It is mandatory testing and counseling, so all females of reproductive potential must have two negative pregnancy tests prior to starting the therapy and then monthly pregnancy tests while on the therapy alone. Again, they must use two forms of effective contraceptives or abstain from heterosexual sex four weeks prior, during, and after. And the same thing for men. I focus on that because males may say, 'I have a vasectomy.' These therapies tend to bind to the semen. So, males must still use a latex or synthetic condom during any sexual contact with a female of reproductive potential, even if they did have a vasectomy." TS 18:31 "The capsule itself cannot be chewed, crushed, or opened. I bring that up because as healthcare professionals, we have educated our patients. If it's difficult to swallow capsules or tablets, we've always said to them, 'Oh, don't worry, just crush it into applesauce or open it up and sprinkle it on your mashed potatoes.' But because of this embryofetal toxicity, I advise my patients not to open the capsule. If they can't swallow it for any reason, they have a sore throat or they're just unable to, then [we tell them] to hold the therapy and then call us." TS 22:49 "We spoke about three generations already, but there's actually a fourth generation [of immunomodulators]. They're called cereblon E3 ligase modulators(CELMoDs). They're still in clinical trials but really showing promise in the therapy of myeloma. They're showing very good affinity to cereblons, just like the immunomodulators do. I think, in all cancer therapies, as newer generations come out or newer therapies move forward, some of the older generations might move aside, but they get integrated later on. So I don't think [immunomodulators] will disappear totally, but they will probably be modified." TS 36:39

Every election cycle, Christians argue about what they owe the government and where that obligation ends. Paul wrote the original version of that argument. The governing authority is God's servant, he says, and you owe it taxes, respect, and honor. That was written under Nero, which means Paul is not talking about a government that deserves your admiration. He is talking about an office God established for your good. Then he turns to the Christian's own life: put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh. How you live under authority and how you live before God are both answered. The Rev. Ryan Kleimola, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Toledo, OH, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Romans 13:1–14. To learn more about Trinity Lutheran Church, visit trinitylutheran.org. Vedoucí Úřadu vlády Tünde Bartha uzavřela koncem minulého týdne formální převod expertů a agend závislostí, duševního zdraví, lidských práv a rovnosti žen a mužů ze Strakovy akademie s jednotlivými ministerstvy. After eleven chapters of what God has done for you, Paul says “therefore” and gets specific about what it looks like to live in God's grace. He tells us: Present your bodies as living sacrifices. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Love without hypocrisy. Think soberly about your gifts. Feed your enemy when he is hungry. This is where Paul connects doctrine to daily life, and every instruction here grows out of the mercy God has already given you in Christ. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Krenz, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Columbia, IL, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Romans 12:1–21. To learn more about St. Paul's Lutheran Church, visit stpauls-lcms.org. In our conversation, we talked about what the essays in their volumes address related to the state of Christian Higher Education, navigating academia over the course of a career, and some helpful tips and tricks for educators of all sorts. Part 1:We talk with Jeremy Kohler, who writes for ProPublica. We discuss the case of a Duluth, Mn. Old Apostolic church, and the sexual assaults perpetrated by members against children. Within this sect, once a perpetrator has been 'forgiven', no reports are made of this crime, and those who DO report the crime are considered not eligible for heaven.Part 2:We talk with Dana Nuccitelli, an environmental scientist and climate journalist. We discuss the changes in the use of coal and other polluting sources of energy worldwide. These are declining, although not as quickly in the US. Population changes, and the use of green sources of energy have led to these changes. This has benefited China greatly, and China is now an exporter of green energy products, including solar panels and EVs. WNHNFM.ORG productionMusic: "That's how every empire falls," John Prine

If you are a Gentile Christian, you are a wild branch grafted into someone else's tree. But what of the original covenant? God has not abandoned His people. Though many have fallen away, he kept a remnant by grace, and Paul himself is the proof. But what does Paul mean when he says, "all Israel will be saved"? This is one of the most debated passages in the letter, and getting it wrong has real consequences. The Rev. John Lukomski, pastor emeritus and co-host of Wrestling with the Basics on KFUO Radio, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Romans 11:1–36. Why does doing the right thing sometimes feel impossible? People often talk about faith like it is something you find inside yourself if you look hard enough. Paul reveals just the opposite. Faith comes from outside you––from the Word of Christ spoken into your ears by someone God sent to speak it. That is how it reached you, and that is how it has reached every Christian who has ever lived. Paul traces the chain all the way back from the believer to the preacher to the one who sent the preacher, and it changes how you think about every sermon you have ever heard. The Rev. James Helms, Jr., pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Greenbelt, MD, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Romans 10:1–21. To learn more about Holy Cross Lutheran Church, visit myholycross.com. A case of New World screwworm was recently identified in a three-month-old calf in Zavala County, Texas, near the Texas-Mexico border. In this episode, Brad breaks down what New World screwworm is, why it matters to livestock producers, and what signs to watch for in cattle and other animals. He explains how the larvae infest live tissue, how the pest spreads, and why early detection, reporting, quarantine, and treatment are key to preventing further spread. The episode also clears up common myths, including whether screwworm spreads animal-to-animal or person-to-person, whether whole herds must be culled, and whether recovered animals can enter the food supply. Brad also discusses past eradication efforts using sterile flies, current treatment options, and the importance of producer awareness, especially for those in areas at higher risk.
