Okay, now who doesn't love a good GNR reference! Their music was front and center during the time in my life that I believe shaped me the most. In this episode, I'm honored to be joined and interviewed by one of my dearest friends and the person that I give credit for changing my outlook on whole-person health, Diana Siebenaler. Diana is one of the most selfless and thoughtful humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my time here on this planet. She has dedicated her life to finding creative solutions and driving for the much-needed change in our current health and wellness system. She has made so many sacrifices for the greater good, extremely talented, an amazing friend, and honestly, I would not be the person I am today without her. Join us for a deeper dive into why I started this podcast journey and to learn more about some of the intimate moments in my life that drive my passion today for a better system for all.

We all make mistakes, have bad days, wish we could turn back time, you name it; as humans, we are also very hard on ourselves. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Well, maybe so, but how you go means everything. In this episode created in honor of World Mental Health Day, I talk about some of the coping mechanisms that have changed my life for the better. I also discuss the importance of recognizing and accepting your feelings, even when it literally hurts. Join me for a raw moment in my life, and to learn more about how meditation, showing gratitude, and other healthy habits have helped me try to deal with the worst moments in a better way.

Where are my 90's music fans? Ready for the next dance craze that you're bound to see on Tik Tok? Okay, okay, just kidding. I hope you get used to my silly music puns because I'm just too Legit to Quit! In all seriousness, we've spent two episodes talking about a few best practices surrounding whole-person health and wellbeing. Now it's time to get to work and have a little fun while we're at it! How do we start to retrain our most crucial muscle, aka our brain, to stop getting in the way of achieving our most profound wishes? The bigger question is, how do we fit one more thing into our already busy lives? It sounds complicated and like a lot of time and work, right? Well, thanks to Professor Laurie Santos, Yale University, and her Science of Wellbeing course, I just completed it only takes 7-10 minutes a day. Laurie introduced our class to a process called WOOP, developed by Gabriele Oettingen, an NYU and University psychology professor who has spent the last 20 years conducting scientific research on wishes, how we fulfill them, and what stands in there way. The practice of WOOP still takes work, but I promise you'll have a tough time not building WOOP into your daily routine after you get the hang of it. Join me in this episode for a brief overview of how to get your WOOP on! WOOP there it is!

Join me for my first podcast interview with a dear friend and colleague, Brianne Hall. Brianne shares her real-life story and journey to find peace with anxiety and depression. We discuss the importance of finding the right mix or, as we like to say, the recipe of whole-person health best practice ingredients to cope with natural human emotions we all face like grief, sadness, and anger. Brianne also shares key pivot moments, including her discovery of a life-saving sense of purpose that changed her forever. We hope you will find this conversation between two ordinary women (okay, Brianne is anything but ordinary - she truly extraordinary) looking to do their part to offer support to anyone out there feeling alone during this challenging time in our world.
