Our guest today is Dan Wallrath a custom homebuilder in TX. Dan founded Operational Finally Home, a nonprofit organization that provides custom built mortgage-free homes to military heroes and widows of the fallen. He was named a CNN Hero in 2010 and was featured in a documentary about the organization in 2013. In his book, Dan shares the God orchestrated events that led him to start the organization and the gripping stories of new beginnings amidst physical, mental, and financial hardships of war-wounded soldiers and their families. Dan has an amazing faith story that includes overcoming childhood abuse and trauma. The organization has expanded from building 1-2 homes per year to more than 80 projects in 33 states happening right now.
