Second half of the Q&A episode is now ready for your listening and "learning" pleasure! But first, before we dive into your questions, we're back with your feedback from the first Q&A episode and some Barley Crop Reports that we've cribbed from our friend Teri Fahrendorf and Denny reports on his eggs, because they're expensive! Then we grabbed a chance to talk with multiple (no, really, multiple) award-winning homebrewer Joe Formanek. Normally we'd subject Joe to the whole twenty questions routine because seriously the man's impressive, but you can go read his profile in Homebrew All-Stars until we get back to that. Why the wait? Because Joe has an interesting new brewing product that he's helping spread the word on - Brewtan B. What is Brewtan B? Well, listen to the episode and find out. Speaking of finding out - we're happy to announce our next experiment - this one is completely focused on figuring out if Brewtan B does what it says on the tin. (And in that spirit we're giving our IGORs some time to have some fun as well) Then we get into your questions. For convenience's sake we've divided the questions into general topic categories. This episode we tackle Packaging and Philosophy Questions. We even have more "live" callers! Episode Links: BrewTan B - http://www.natural-specialities.com/PDF/Data-sheets/Brewtan%20B%20%20-%2... n this episode, we have our conversation with Drew Beechum and Denny Conn about their new book Homebrew All Stars, their experience at NHC 2016 (aka HomebrewCon), and the success of their Experimental Homebrewing book, website, and podcast. We’ve sat down in previous Come and Brew It video and radio segments to talk with Drew and Denny during NHC, so check those out on our blog and youtube page and be sure to visit experimentalbrewing.com to sign up for the IGOR program. At Texas Brewing Inc we strongly support experimenting with your brewing and these guys have created a helluva program for it. Plus, we always enjoy talking with them, so we're glad we could finally find a time to fit everyone's schedules. Plus, after we leave off with Denny and Drew, we discuss an experiment of our own where we made two batches of a recipe for Timothy Taylor’s Landlord (a British Pale Ale) so we could test out Accumash water treatment formulations.

Our two favorite homebrewing kooks, Drew Beechum and Denny Conn, join us as we talk about their new book, "Homebrew All-Stars". Not only is it a book with recipes from some amazing homebrewers, but Denny and Drew break down personalities of homebrewers to figure out how we can brew better beer. We also talk a bit of Beer News, and get a visit from our Aussie pal Brendan, who chats about the Australian beer scene. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Another episode and this time we're here with Olive Oil results! In the pub, we talk our "plans" for Homebrew Con in Baltimore in June - a live Q&A, a Troubleshooters Corner, Book Signings and more! We talk some gluten free barley, a new name for an old country and why some trademark fights make us sad. A new room is added to the house as we sit down in the library to discuss the imminent release of Homebrew All-Stars! Then to the lab where Marshall joins the guys as they discuss the IGOR's results of their Olive Oil vs. No Aeration efforts. Can you use Olive Oil to cheaply replace aeration? We go to Dallas where Drew talks with Barrett Tillman of both Black Man Yeast and Deep Ellum Brewing Company about his experiences as a brewer, his love of all things sour and funky and why he decided to start a mini-yeast company. After that, we're off to the books as we try and answer more listener questions. Drew adds a quick tip about immersion circulators and brewing Lastly, the guys hit the kitchen as Denny offers some sourdough advice and Drew deals with a bunch of nut sacks.
