This Very Special Episode of the podcast celebrates that we have just passed 3 MILLION DOWNLOADS! I started the podcast just over four years ago, during the depths of the pandemic. I had no audience and no guests. All I had then was a goal: to inspire and motivate people to follow their dream, just like I had followed my youthful music dream later in life. The podcast has succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. It's been ranked for some time in the top 1% (actually the Top .1%), with listeners worldwide on every continent in 200 countries. My guests have been a remarkable collection of World Class musicians and other creatives. It took two years to reach 1 million downloads, but then only 1 more year to get to 2 million downloads. And now, just another 8 months to surpass 3 million downloads. We're the little podcast that could! I look forward to the next million downloads.---------------------------------------------The Follow Your Dream Podcast:Top 1% of all podcasts with Listeners in 200 countries! For more information and other episodes of the podcast click here. Colossians tells us that all things were made through Christ and for Christ. John tells us that all things came into being through the Word who was and is God incarnate, the second Person of the Trinity, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through what God has made, Romans 1 tells us, the whole world knows something of God's invisible attributes - His "eternal power and divine nature," for example. But critics of Christianity deny that Jesus is God in the flesh. How can we as Christians be better equipped to respond to the critics of the incarnate Christ? This week we continue our discussion with Dr. Rob Bowman, Jr.,, president of the Institute for Religious Research about his new book The Incarnate Christ and His Critics. Rob will give us more insights from his "HANDS" acronym about how we can known Jesus is both Lord and God and how we can give an intelligent defense of what the Bible says of Jesus to non-Christians. Dr. Rob Bowman Jr., is an evangelical Christian apologist, biblical scholar, author, editor, and lecturer. He has lectured on biblical studies, religion, and apologetics at Biola University, Cornerstone University, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Rob is the author of over sixty articles and the author or co-author of fifteen books including Jesus' Resurrection and Joseph's Visions: Examining the Foundations of Christianity and Mormonism, Putting Jesus in His Place: The Case for the Deity of Christ, co-authored with J. Ed Komoszewski, and Faith Has Its Reasons: Integrative Approaches to Defending the Christian Faith, co-authored with Kenneth D. Boa. Dr. Bowman holds the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in biblical studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and South African Theological Seminary. He is widely regarded as the leading evangelical scholar addressing the uses and interpretations of the Bible by such religious groups as Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons.Related Links: FREE Four-Page Profile Articles from Watchman Fellowship! Frank and Jason are back with a fresh episode of The DFO Rundown as the Stanley Cup Playoffs are officially underway. We had five series kick off over the weekend so to begin today's pod, the guys went through each of the results. They started with the Avalanche's big win over the Stars. The Avs stars came to play, Mackenzie Blackwood shone in his first playoff game with the club, and Mikko Rantanen did not look like himself. Is this destined to be a quick series? The Wild, Devils, and Blues all fell behind 1-0 in their series with opening night road losses. Which one of those three are in the most trouble? The guys went through each series. They also talked about the Maple Leafs' decisive Game 1 victory. They looked like a team who wasn't phased by the Battle of Ontario storylines. Was Game 1 proof that this years Leafs' team is different? They then stepped away from the playoff talk and talked about the coaching news around around the league. Both the Anaheim Ducks and New York Rangers fired their coaches over the weekend. Could David Carle be a fit in either one of those spots? They also looked at the tank for Gavin McKenna that could happen next season.Tyler then popped in for Fill in the Blank where he asked the guys about the Conn Smythe trophy odds and which one of their series predictions they're most nervous about. They wrapped up with some talk about the Buffalo Sabres and the rest of the playoff series' that haven't gotten going yet.1:25 - Avs take 1-0 lead7:45 - Canes roll over the Devils11:00 - Golden Knights go up on the Wild14:30 - Leafs roll to a Game One victory18:25 - Coaching Changes28:00 - Tanking for McKenna48:10 - Sabres to stand still?52:00 - Remaining round one seriesWant to hear more from Frank, Jason and the entire DFO team? The Magic lost Game 1 in Boston 103-86. The main worry came to fruition. Boston buried us with 3s and Paolo Banchero (36 points and 11 rebounds) and Franz Wagner (23 points) need other support guys to step up and hit shots. No other Magic player beyond the two stars had more than 7 points. The good news is Orlando is up for a fight, and we have Game 2 to look forward to. Orlando's defense was overall good enough. Jayson Tatum (17 points) and Jaylen Brown (16 points) were overall subdued. But Boston has a ton of scoring depth and Derrick White (30 points) and Payton Pritchard (19 points off the bench) picked up the slack. The Magic didn't get to the free throw line enough, and Boston's big strength in the second half was fast break points. All of that and more! #LetsGoMagic Warning: Adult Language
