All My Children Wear Fur Coats is a weekly podcast with host Peggy Hoyt. Peggy Hoyt is an animal advocate, pet mom and estate planning attorney. Her father, John A. Hoyt, is the former CEO and President of The Humane Society of the United States. Peggy grew up in the world of animal welfare and brings her love and passion for animals to everything she does. As an estate planning attorney, Peggy helps pet parents create estate plans that protect pets after the disability or death of the pet parent. Peggy is the past chair of the Florida Bar Animal Law Section. She is the CEO and founder of Animal Care Trust USA, the nation's only not for profit organization whose mission is to provide estate planning education to pet parents and to keep loved pets in loving homes. More than 500,000 loved pets are euthanized annually because the pet parent didn't have a plan for the lifetime care of their pets. Too often, we assume that family or friends will love our pets like we do. Many times, we are wrong and our loved pets pay dearly; with their lives.
