Carry the Lost was formed in 2010. Originally there were 5 members. The band had some great gigs together and did some shows for Live 105, the local Halifax modern radio station. Since 2012, the band has gone through a transformation and several new members. The new Carry the Lost is bigger and more diverse in sound than ever. With 6 members our sound has expanded and with the addition of a new keyboard player the sky is the limit. Going into 2014 we are poised for success as we begin a new era of Carry the Lost. The new line up is as follows: Leigh MacInnis(vocals) Ave Trefry(guitar) Jeff Parks(guitar) Karim Hararra(keyboards) Scott Richardson(bass) Ken Ross(drums) Carry the Lost have 2 new releases, "Nothing at All" and "Hours". For the first time they will be heard on Thursday October 3rd on Chit Chat Chicks. "Hours" is the first balad by Carry the Lost and contains elements not yet heard by Carry the Lost fans. We will be playing Hours live for the first time October 11th at Montes Showbar and Grill in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. All of our songs are better than ever with the new line up. The 2 new releases will be available on itunes, cdbaby, amazon etc. very soon.
Join Tosha and guest co-host,Rock & Roll Photographer, Michael Strider, as they welcome to the show, Leigh MacInnis In 2007 Leigh began pursuing a career in music and always wanted to get into acting. He approached his cousin Mike Smith about a new show called Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour that was in the works and was hoping to get a part of some sort. That proved to be unsuccessful having never acted before. Leigh didn’t give up hope though and in early 2011 he went to Mike Smith with a general idea of his own. SWEARNET was launched March 9 2013 with a live to air launch party. A Trippin’ with Leigh trailer was presented as part of that launch and an interview with Leigh, completely wasted, was given. The rest will be history in the making. “Trippin’with Leigh” will be a documentary experience, or experiment, far surpassing any other the world has ever seen. It will be a multi perspective mind warp, which bends the very fabric of the human mentality. It will explore the social impacts that drugs have on the local culture and how it affects society across cultural boundaries. Viewers will be taken on a hilarious journey around the world to 8 different countries. Travel to Peru, Brazil, Chile, The USA, Finland, Holland, Australia and the Czech Republic where Mike Smith, Robb Wells and JP Tremblay of The Trailer Park Boys, will join Leigh, as he explores the different cultures and remedies while trying to reach the ultimate high and obtain spiritual enlightenment. Join Leigh and the boys on this extraordinary adventure brought to you by the new online network SWEARNET at www.swearnet.com
