Alvopetro Energy CEO Corey Ruttan joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce that the company achieved January 2025 sales volumes of 2,457 boepd, including 13.8 MMcfpd of natural gas, 141 bopd from condensate, and 18 bopd of oil—a 41% increase from Q4 2024. Ruttan highlighted the role of the Murucututu field in this growth, following the successful recompletion of the 183-A3 well in Q3 2024. Alvopetro now plans to spud the 183-D4 location, targeting the Caruaçu Member approximately 110 metres up-dip from the 183-A3 site, with an additional exploratory target in the Marfin Formation. Results from the 183-D4 well are expected by the end of Q1 2025. After Murucututu, Alvopetro will drill and complete five development wells at the Caburé Unit as part of its development plan with its partner, further boosting production potential. In addition to its Brazilian operations, Ruttan shared the company's strategy to expand in Canada. Alvopetro is targeting the Mannville multi-zone heavy oil fairway, focusing on formations like Colony, McLaren, Waseca, Sparky, GP, Rex, Lloydminster, and Cummings. The company aims to leverage multilateral drilling technologies to unlock attractive economics from these resources. Alvopetro is also partnering with Durham Creek Energy, funding 100% of two earning wells at an estimated cost of $4.5 million in exchange for a 50% working interest in 19.13 sections of land in western Saskatchewan. If successful, this land position could support up to 100 development drilling locations, providing a strong foundation for future growth. #proactiveinvestors #alvopetroenergyltd #tsxv #alv #otcqx #alvof #OilAndGas #BrazilNaturalGas #EnergyInvesting #GasSales #Drilling #OilProduction #CoreyRuttan #EnergyStocks #NaturalGas #CanadianOil #BrazilEnergy #OilIndustry #Investing #EnergyExpansion #StockMarketEnergyProduction #CEOInterview #Q32024 #ProactiveInvestors #GasPlantCapacity #OrganicGrowth #EnergyStocks

Interview with Judy Baker, Director & CEO of Argo Gold Inc.Recording date: 9th January 2025Argo Gold, a Canadian junior oil producer, has successfully transformed from a gold exploration company into a profitable oil producer in Alberta's Lloydminster region. The company currently generates $2.8M in revenue and $1.8M in net operating cash flow from its oil operations, which produce approximately 120 barrels of oil per day.Originally founded in 2016 as a gold exploration company in Ontario, Argo Gold pivoted to the oil sector in 2023, recognizing significant opportunities in the Canadian oil patch due to lack of capital investment. The company deployed $1.8 million to participate in three successful heavy oil development wells in the Lloydminster area, where major producers like CNRL and Baytex also operate. The economics of Argo's heavy oil business are particularly attractive, with all-in costs averaging $25 per barrel while realizing sale prices of $71 per barrel over the past two years. The company maintains low corporate overhead at $400,000 annually and leverages expert consultants rather than maintaining a full-time technical team, allowing for operational flexibility and cost efficiency.Looking ahead, Argo Gold plans to pay down its $1 million debt in 2025 and aims to initiate a dividend of approximately one cent per share in 2026. The company maintains a dual focus, continuing its oil development drilling while also holding strategic mineral claims, including a 200 square kilometer land position near the Rottenstone discovery in Saskatchewan and uranium claims in the Athabasca Basin.CEO Judy Baker emphasizes the company's advantageous position in the Canadian heavy oil market, noting strong demand from US refineries and reliable export infrastructure via pipelines and rail. Despite federal government policies creating headwinds for the Canadian oil industry, Argo benefits from supportive provincial regulations in Alberta. With a market capitalization of approximately C$6M, Argo Gold represents a unique investment opportunity in the Canadian resource sector. The company combines current cash flow from oil production with potential upside from its mineral claims, which it hopes to develop through exploration partnerships. Its strategy focuses on maintaining low costs and high margins in its core oil business while providing investors with exposure to strategic minerals through a prospect generator model. The company's evolution showcases an opportunistic approach to resource development, adapting to market conditions while maintaining a focus on generating shareholder value through both operational cash flow and strategic asset development.View Argo Gold's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/argo-goldSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Good day ladies and gentlemen, this is IRC news, I am Joy Stephen, a certified Canadian Immigration practitioner, and I bring to you this Provincial News Bulletin from the province of Saskatchewan. This recording originates from the Polinsys studios in Cambridge, Ontario. The Government of Saskatchewan is investing an additional $160,000 for a total of nearly $358,000 in operational funding for the Lloydminster Interval Home Society (LIHS) in 2023-24."This money will be used to fund critical services and supports for survivors of domestic violence in Lloydminster and the surrounding region through the Lloydminster Interval Home Society's safe shelter program," Lloydminster MLA Colleen Young said on behalf of Justice Minister and Attorney General Bronwyn Eyre. "We are deeply grateful for the hard work and dedication the Society's staff and volunteers put into ensuring these critical supports are available for women and children leaving interpersonal violence and abuse."The LIHS operates a 24-hour domestic violence emergency safe shelter with 33 beds for women and their children fleeing situations of interpersonal violence and abuse. This transition house offers increased access to safe shelter and wrap-around supports for women, with a focus on crisis services to ensure their immediate safety. In addition to the safe shelter program, the LIHS provides crisis intervention, clinical counseling, safety planning, childcare, transportation, public education and advocacy. In 2022-23, the LIHS supported over 300 women and children leaving circumstances of violence and abuse. The Government of Saskatchewan is providing an additional $32 million in funding for 45 new relocatable classrooms to increase classroom space throughout the province. The majority of this new funding is allocated to Regina and Saskatoon, the two cities where the province is experiencing the fastest population growth. Other communities included are Humboldt, Lloydminster, Lumsden, Pilot Butte, Warman, and Weyburn. This new funding is in addition to the $16 million investment for 23 relocatable classrooms and two classroom moves as announced in the 2023-24 budget."Our government is committed to working with our educational partners to help address the concerns around class size that we are seeing in some of our schools," Education Minister Jeremy Cockrill said. "This additional funding will help school divisions better manage, at the local level, enrolment pressures in the fastest growing areas of the province."With this additional investment, the total for classroom relocatables is $48 million for 68 new relocatables and two classroom moves for the 2024-25 school year. This investment builds on the Government of Saskatchewan's commitment to supporting students, teachers and classrooms through previous investments of $47 million toward enrolment, complexity and the hiring of more educational assistants, the more than $300 million in supports for learning for the 2023-24 school year, and the $6.1 million for the Specialized Support Classroom Pilot and the new Teacher Innovation and Support Fund announced earlier this year. Welcome to Warriors Unmasked! Today, we have an incredible guest, Paul Laberge, a mental health advocate, multi-sport athlete, and founder of One Step Forward. His journey is nothing short of inspiring. As a kid, Paul had a speech impediment that made him afraid to speak. But as he got older, he found his voice, and it got him in trouble for talking too much at school. High school wasn't easy, but college was better, and he started achieving success in his sports career. But then, tragedy struck. Paul noticed his father acting differently, and he started experiencing anxiety but didn't know why. His aunt passed away, and he regretted not spending more time with her. Then his father was investigated for fraud, and he attempted suicide. A month later, Paul tried to take his own life too. Things got even harder when Paul's dad went to jail. Then, after regaining his freedom, his father passed away just three days after being set free from prison. But instead of giving up, Paul decided to turn his pain into a force for good. In 2019, he embarked on a walk from Saskatoon to Lloydminster to raise awareness about mental health. He called it Project Little Bear and collected toys to donate to children in need. The community support was overwhelming! Now, Paul is getting back into public speaking and continuing his advocacy work, changing one life at a time! His story is one of resilience and hope, and it's a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there's always a way forward. Thanks for tuning in to Warriors Unmasked.
