All good things must come to an end. In our season finale, we delve deeply into the anime Fruits Basket. On the surface, this is a cute anime with feel good life lessons, but the more you watch, the more you think, “Oh shit…” Fruits Baskets follows the story of Tohru and the zodiac-cursed Sohma family. We really love and respect this reboot/continuation of the Star Trek. The main character, Michael Burnham, is a black woman, which doesn't mean anything in relation to the other characters, but means a lot to us. In this season, Michael falls from Starfleet grace and rises to the challenges laid out before her. 

OF COURSE we were going to have an episode about Doctor Who! In this one, we start our discussions with the 9th doctor, at the latest of the show reboot. Now, we didn't have a ton of time to fully re-watch this season, but we do our best :) Join us for our insight to this beloved TV legacy. 

Ok, ok... we KNOW this isn't sci-fi, anime, or a game.... But damn this was a good movie. Join us as we sum up this Netflix produced film and fangirl over Henry Cavill who plays Sherlock, Enola's older brother. Enola Holmes is a refreshing, new look into the classic story.  

Who doesn't like Studio Ghibli movies?? Join us as we talk about Spirited Away, the first Miyazaki we saw when we were wee middle shcoolers.
