My name is Liza Thomas and growing up I was a nobody. I had very few friends in school and what few "friends" I did have were more like acquaintances that never even thought about my existence outside of 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday , Friday. I was bullied too. But then again, wasn't everyone? I'm seriously asking, "was everyone?" because the other girls constantly ridiculed me for the way I looked (growing up I looked quite androgynous), for never talking during class and for sneaking my Nintendo DS into school to play during lunch. I never did anything to them, but they made me feel like shit every single day.Fast forward to my 18th birthday and, nothing. I was flat all over. My chest, my ass, my stomach. My tits were 32 A, maybe the size of lemons and my ass cheeks were like two little pancakes. But then, something magical happened. During the Christmas break after my birthday, I began to grow. My lemons turned into 34 D cantaloupes quite fast, almost overnight. My pancakes turned into, pillows? My ass certainly wasn't flat enough to set your drink on anymore but I'd be lying if I said that it caught anyone's gaze.My mom took quick notice of this change and in regards to it; liked to say, "Lions, tigers, boobs oh my!" (I wish I was making this up. My mom says the stupidest and most embarrassing shit sometimes, I swear to God). Apparently, the Thomas women were all late bloomers, so it's unsurprising that it took me all the way until adulthood before my tits were as big as my mom's.That January I returned to school after "the change" I kind of figured no one would notice, or care, but boy was I wrong. I started to get unwanted attention, and as an introvert this sucked. It wasn't all bad though, that same month this guy named Brian started talking to me and, Brain made me feel special. He'd come up to me every day at my locker to chat me up. Nobody had ever done that before, especially not a boy. A little bit about Brian, Brian was 19 when we first met. He was held back in first grade so he was in the same class as me despite being a year older. His mother was an alcoholic who was in and out of the county jail and his father was an honest man who made a living restoring old cars. I guess this is different from being a mechanic but don't ask me how, I am not a car girl. Anywho, after a month Brian asked me out on a date and, I said yes! We went to the local ice cream place, the Twist and Shake (I think it was supposed to be a Beatles pun), and had a nice little conversation. There was not much to do in Locust, Pennsylvania after all. I had even taken the opportunity to wear a low-cut shirt to "show off the goods" so to speak. In truth, the shirt had not been low cut prior to my cleavage metamorphosis. After a few weeks he even asked me to be his girlfriend and I was elated! No one had ever thought of me in that way before, it was like I was experiencing my sexual coming of age, the only thing was that at this point I was very much anti-sex traditionalist.I grew up in a very strict Eastern Orthodox family and had taken my parents' views on sex as my own. I was supposed to wait until marriage. I told Brian this a little while after we started dating. Despite him reassuring me that everything was okay, I could see the disappointment on his face. I would try to satiate him by compromising. I offered him handjobs at first, then gave my first blowjob, but this wasn't good enough. He was horny all the time, and I just couldn't keep up. Mit seiner markanten Stimme ist uns Daniel bereits in vielen Rollen aufgefallen, die am ehesten dem „Bester Kumpel“-Typ entsprechen: Kürzlich noch als Brasso in „Andor“, aber auch als Cleveland Booker in „Star Trek: Discovery“, Aoi Todo in „Jujutsu Kaisen“, Jonah Maiava in „Tomb Raider“ oder als Varl in „Horizon Zero Dawn“ und Sequel – das ist doch wohl kein Type Casting?! Gar nicht kumpelhaft sind dagegen die verschiedenen Varianten von Kang dem Eroberer im MCU; außerdem kennt man ihn vielleicht auch als Lotti in „Deponia“, Tsukasa Shishio in „Dr. Stone“ und Terry Francisco in „Bob's Burgers“. Aber auch über die Synchro hinaus ist Daniel richtig aktiv, denn schon als Teenager hat er sich der Musik verschrieben und rockt seitdem unter anderem mit seiner Band „WellBad“ über die Bühnen der Republik. Eine besondere Ehre war daher auch für ihn, als er den Gesang von Bowser in der deutschen Version des „Super Mario“-Films übernehmen durfte – im Original bekanntermaßen Jack Black. In today's Daily Fix:Tencent has fired back at Sony in the ongoing lawsuit over Tencent's Light of Motiram video game. Sony is alleging Motiram is a 'clone' of Horizon Zero Dawn; now Tencent is saying Sony has copied other games when Horizon was being developed, citing Ninja Theory's Enslaved: Oddsey to the West as an example. In other news, former IGN staffer Destin Legarie was sent what he believes to be legitimate leaks of the price for the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally X, and it's not going to be cheap. And finally, Borderlands 4's latest patch hopefully fixes some of the performance issues plaguing the PC version of the game.

In today's Daily Fix:In light of Sony's lawsuit, megapublisher Tencent has changed some of the assets on the Steam page for Light of Motiram. The game fell into Sony's crosshairs for looking a lot like their Horizon Zero Dawn games, and judging by some of those marketing assets, Sony might have a case. Tencent has changed the description and some of the art featuring a female protagonist that looks an awful lot like Horizon's Aloy, as well as easing up on mentions of giant mechanical beasts. In other news, Bethesda's Starfield may finally be giving fans what they want: the ability to fly between planets. Although not officially announced, the new 'feature' won't be exactly like No Man's Sky's key feature of letting you take off from a planet's surface, fly into space, through the atmosphere of another planet, and onto that surface without an obvious loading screen. Starfield is getting a PS5 port sometime next year, and could see some new feaures added, like the aforementioned 'flying between planets' ability. And finally, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick is promsing BioShock 4 will come out, despite recent news that the game had failed an internal review after years of development.

Unlike traditional UX, which often starts with uncovering user needs, games UX usually kicks in once there's a playable prototype. Because the “user need” in games is often just “make it fun,” research is focused more on assessing emotional impact and usability than on early-stage exploration.* Measuring fun is both subjective and contextual. Teams often ask, “Is this fun?”—but that question is too broad to act on. Steve explains that researchers must first help define what kind of fun is intended, whether that's emotional engagement, replay behavior, or challenge. Only then can appropriate metrics or qualitative signals be applied.* Creative ownership adds complexity to stakeholder management. Games are seen as artistic work. Designers may be deeply emotionally invested in their ideas, which can make it harder to embrace critical feedback. This makes relationship-building, empathy, and framing feedback constructively especially important in games UX.* Secrecy shapes everything, from methods to sampling. Due to high financial stakes and aggressive marketing timelines, games researchers often can't test publicly. This leads to lab-based studies with high participant control. Mass playtesting labs (20–80 people at once) are common for running controlled, large-scale tests without leaking content.* Toxicity and matchmaking need research too. Games with multiplayer or social components must test how players interact, especially when strangers are thrown together online.
