The Final Episode - We are done with Bowe/Bo/Beau. He has beaurd us to tears, so much so that we haven't produced an episode in over a month. Just haven't felt like it. But now Serial Seson 2 is done, and we are done with that part of our lives. Manuel calls in today to give us his final thoughts, and Katia is learning to potty like a big girl. We discuss possible future podcast themes, and El Chupacabra makes a brief appearance. All this and so little else, today on Breakfast Serial!

Hindsight Part 2 - The Boredom Continues... We are officially done with Beau. With Hajar and Manuel out for the day, there's no one around that thinks that any of his back story should garner him any sympathy with regard to court martial. Vidur joined us today for a deeply interesting discussion on reincarnation, we establish that Pop Tarts ARE a delicious breakfast food/snack item (despite the dubious opinions of our Russian komrade), and if you wanna be happy for the rest of your life, look at pics of baby animals all day long. #itworks

Returning to our discussions of Serial Season 2, we look at Sarah's zoomed in view of Beau's life when he first arrives in Afghanistan, and how the conditions and situations there are working into his decision to leave his post. We begin with a frank discussion of cereal choices, Chia Pets, and end on such high notes as murder plots in Disney movie favorites. Quite the insane spectrum for today's discussion, no? Also, a thousand apologies to Hajar for the constant ignorance regarding the pronunciation of her last name. It will be corrected in the intro to next week’s podcast… HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RHONDA JACKSON!!!

Making a Murderer has seen daily headlines over the last month or so for its take on the case of Steven Avery.
