Welcome to the Student Ministries Podcast of Briarcrest Christian School! It is our goal on this podcast to take the timeless truths of the Word of God and apply them to our world in a timely way. In this episode Jason sits down with Coach Lee Smith. As a teacher and basketball coach, Lee Smith has been a member of the Briarcrest faculty for decades. He is well loved by students and alumni, having a deep longing to pour into the students at Briarcrest. In this interview Coach Smith shares about his summer battle with COVID-19 and what the Lord has taught him in light of that struggle.
In this episode Jason sits down with Ella Miller, this year’s Student Government Commissioner of Community Relations. They discussed Ella’s vision for service in light of her past experiences in Ecuador and with local ministries. We also got to hear how the Lord has been working on Ella’s heart as she prepares to cast vision for service for this upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
