Over the past 3 or 4 days I have been inundated with spammy emails and LinkedIn Messages. Literally 10x the normal rate. Maybe it has to do with people thinking the are free to blast away as lockdowns are loosening. Regardless, it does not work! Here are my thoughts on what works and how to be relevant and credible as a salesperson during it post #Covid19
My thoughts on what is our best playbook as we wait for the rebound. The playbook as a business person is the same as we have all been doing personally; personalized outreach and connecting. Although there are no trade shows, conferences, or in person meetings, we can take time to reach out to co workers, prospects and create authentic conversations online. So we we do get back to normal you have secured your place top of mind.
My thoughts on this defining moment in time. We can use this time of #quarantines and #socialdistancing and boundless technology to reinvent ourselves, our businesses, our futures. Or we can sit and wait to see what happens. We can, create the future we want for ourselves or we can do nothing and be left behind.
Just got back from a great white Christmas skiing in Colorado with family. Here are some reflections from my Chairlift conversations. The Chairlift is a unique venue: (1) you have a captive audience that can’t leave the conversation, (2) the conversation is limited by 10 minutes or less and (3) most people are happy and in a good mood. Happy New Year and to more conversations in 2020 no matter where your journey leads you.
