Jesus boils so much if life down to simple pictures. He shares simple yet profound help with this verse. All build but what are they building? All go through same storms no matter what. It’s how we build that makes all the difference.

Why would God not forgive me if I don’t forgive? I thought He was all loving!

Many people believe it’s ok to lust as long as you don’t act in it. Jests loves the whole of us and not just our actions. He clears this up in this section of scripture.

We all struggle with anger sometimes. If we’re aren’t careful we can let ourselves hang on to it. Jesus reminds us how destructive this can be and give us a way out.

Jesus did not come to abolish or teach us that the Law was bad. But to fulfill it on our behalf, through His sacrifice in the cross, His example in life, and by reconnect why we do what we do.

God is more concerned with us being something then just doing something. You are a light, not just have a light.

You are so important to God that He calls you the salt of the world. What does this mean?

Are you facing persecution? If it’s good, you will be blessed for it! If it’s not good, then your left with no blessing at all.

Everyone goes through persecution for something. Stand strong when you are persecuted for being on the right side.

How can I have a peace so powerful that it not only changes me but also the world around me? Jesus is the prince of Peace, and He can help us.

Giving mercy is one of the most healthy actions you can do as a person. Jesus encourages us with the blessings that will come back to us if we do.

Very holy moment came this morning as Themba led us in the song "Storm All Around You" written by Jon Thurlow.

Many of us find ourselves stuck wishing a past experience had never happened. Others are too involved in preparing for tomorrow to live for today. Sam teaches us how Jesus wants us to relate to the life that He gave us to live. And when we learn to live with Him in the now we will become very fruitful.
