Tufts University's Department of Education announces a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) program aimed specifically at preparing Elementary School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) teachers. With a combined focus on urban schools and STEM practices, this innovative program offers initial licensure for grades 1-6 and will prepare the next generation of exceptional Elementary STEM educators. The Office of Graduate Studies at Tufts University offers a graduate level certificate program in Museum Studies with concentrations in education, art history, history, and classics. The certificate program consists of four courses and an internship.
The Tufts Noyce Scholarship program, made possible by the National Science Foundation, is designed to financially support Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Middle and High School candidates who are dedicated to teaching math or sciences for a minimum of four years in the Boston Public Schools or a similar high-need school district.
